love the video and love your work! definitely touching on topics that mainstream cod youtubers don't talk about or just neglect, for example the feeling of waw zombies gave you, the immersion and the griminess, now it feels so over filled with hud elements... if id want that id go to world of warcraft, and open world missions in the campaign... why? the old saying "and if it aint broke, dont fix it" those old stories had soul and characters that you'd respect and have emotions for, like the ending mission in mw3 when you kill makarov, it felt like such an accomplishment after he's just taken down yuri someone you've been given a connection with, these moments create everlasting memories for most cod players, just hoping Black ops 6/ gulf war can bring back an amazing experience to remember!
Appreciate it so much!! Very hopeful that Gulf war can at least get us back on track to getting CoD back to its former glory… but then again they convince me somehow to have hope every year so we’ll see😂
Glad you started on the completionist mindset, a lot of RUclipsrs don't even seem to realise how important it truly was. In a game we enjoyed we went out of our way to collect them all: titles, embles, gold camo's, heck even previously obtained ranks in older cods. I fondly remember getting the surgical title on Misson with my post patch M16. It meant you had to fire and entire AR clip into your enemies without missing. It was such a flex running that title along with the perfectionist emblem. Also when you played against any player rocking a gold bar with 2 skulls on either side you knew you had to step your game up. Edit: sidenote. Cod 4 remastered had no nuke... But it did give you a title for reaching a 25 killstreak x amount of times. The title read: Dude, wheres my nuke? Thought it was the funniest thing ever.
There are so many different reasons people pick up the game, and so many other reasons some never put it down. I’m really hoping they address at least a few of them, and I feel like titles and emblems have to be pretty easy to put in the game. Hoping for some challenging and funny ones like you mentioned😂
Man I wish the right people could see this video. Currently I have no intention of picking back up COD but if they took some of your advice I could definitely see myself buying again. Great video!!!
Appreciate it!! Yeah I wish I could just slide the video link to the game devs😂 I’m definitely not expecting a 100% turnaround for CoD, but hopefully they can get started back on the right track.
What the new cod needs in my opinion - NO SBMM - Good Operators (don’t matter if they’re goofy) - Absolutely No pay to Win - Simple Gunsmith/Loadouts -A skill gap that can be shortened just by playing normally. 2 year content - Give Multiplayer the same attention as before - No Doors (In MP) - Make Camo grind and Prestige actually worth it with exclusive rewards - And most importantly INCREASE THE SERVER TICKS
8 minutes in and this is genuinely an amazing video. Sending this to all the ppl I know who are zombies fans and am gonna try and donate to get lex to watch this. Keep this shit up dude 👑
Appreciate it!!! That means a lot. I thought about sending it to lex and Milo but I couldn’t DM them on Twitter (X) so I gave up on it😂 seriously though thanks for the kind words and hopefully we’ll be seeing zombies returning to the glory days soon🫡 I miss manic Milo searching for clues hahah
Wow a cod channel that’s not hating on cod or being a WWF wrestler cutting a promo on Cod. Refreshing. I my self , I’m going to try and shoot some narratives on cod my own perspective. This gives me hope
Im praying for Gulf War to save the franchise. It’s been breaking my heart seeing how people are treating the stat of cod so negatively these days. Cod is my childhood and will always be. Even though I understand the what people are saying about cod now and why people are so angry about this. But I still have more hope Gulf War will make things better, normal, and back to the way they were. My hope for Gulf War will be high cuz I’m praying this game will save the franchise.
There should be absolutely no hype for this game… Why? Let’s see.. what’s still gonna be in the game? Oh yea.. SBMM, EOMM, whatever other acronyms they have patented, sweaty players, micro transactions, macro transactions, moderated voice chat, hackers / cheaters, Fortnite skins, and then all of the other nonsense that we don’t know about yet until the game is released..
I definitely see where you’re coming from, I don’t think this year will be taking us immediately back to the glory days, but I’m hoping they’ve at least learned some from past mistakes, and can tune things to better fit what the community is looking for. SBMM has been a thing since the OG Modern Warfare in 2007, but maybe they can just tune it back some. With that being said, there’s no doubt that the player base is just better than back then, so it’s tough either way.
@@Ninjacinnoman Yes, supposedly SBMM was in the Golden Era Call of Duty tiles (MW4 - BO2) and if this is true it was significantly turned down and not used to coddle new players. The biggest issues are EOMM, hackers, micro/macro transactions, and coked out movement mechanics. EOMM is complete communism, hacking from what I’ve researched and come to understand is impossible to get rid of completely (understandable but unfortunate), in game purchases can be toned back, and the movement mechanics need to be slowed down to how they were in Black Ops 2. You weren’t able to sprint around the map, strafe right to left, bunny hop into a slide cancel then do a 180 to kill someone. The movement plays a huge part in how sweaty the game is. I definitely hope Treyarch can steer this mess into the right direction.
IMO, Modern Warfare II (2022) was amazing, multiplayer wise. People complain about SBMM but it didn’t bother me too much but I love how it has 32 vs 32 Conquest from Battlefield which was fantastic and every CoD should have it. MWIII, however was an overpriced DLC .__. MWII and III also disappointed me story wise because MW19, imo is the best MW campaign and the best CoD Campaign behind World at War.
True that does make me a bit nervous, but I think it’s obvious there efforts are focused on CoD 2024 mainly, reused maps, little to no updates after release, etc. I’m not sure that black ops 6 will be an immediate savior for zombies, but I think it’ll get us moving back in the right direction
@@Ninjacinnomanthey’re continuing with the dark aether storyline I’m keeping my expectations as low as possible and expecting more soulless operator zombies with no meaningful story
For me honestly if bo6 doesn't have round based zombies, long campaign, and good multiplayer then it’s the biggest flop of all time Cause when you see a game taken that long to be released, and it’s by treyarch , you know it has to be at least average
It won't save the franchise. People who depend on cod will still buy their games, activision will make hello kitty skins 2 months after release, and sbmm is a prominant issue reguardless of them promising to tone it down (do we even have any proof or how much they plan to do so? Could just be a lie like how mw2 was a 2 year game). Cod suffers from sestemic problems. Activision pushing for microtransactions, devs that are losing interest in their own games, no communication with the cod community, and players that shill for the game because it says cod in the title.
lol that’s true. I buy the battle pass once and then never spend again, and I can keep buying the pass over and over with the CP you get from buying it the first time. I don’t get the crazy tracers and wild skins but that’s the most I’m willing to spend for cosmetics😂
The old prestige system will never come back cause it goes against the warzone gameplay loop.....dont look too far.....warzone was the reason cod got fucked....
For sure that’s valid😂but that was just one little thing that I pointed out, the maps, characters, audio, other aspects of the hud, crafting tables, and story still all lack character in my opinion

This is the series last hope.
I’m inclined to agree.. but at the same time, do you think enough people will stop buying for them to really make a change?
I don't have hopes for zombies, since treyarch were forced to work on vanguard and mw3 zombies.

I’m blaming y’all for letting Activision tax us 20 bucks for one gun skin it. The only reason why we bought skins in fortnight is bc it was “rare”

Treyarch, make Call of duty great again. maybe after Xdefiant Activision will learn there lesson.
You can turn off the mini map and health bars😑

Ill wait to buy the next one again. Didnt purchase mw2 or 3 at all. If it has bunny skins and fake shit again i wont buy it
No, it won't
