We waited almost half a year for 1 map, 2 weapons, 1 gadget. The "new" stadium map comes a few months later along with the 3rd new weapon and new jet. Dont worry, there will be tons of skins for us to purchase and look at while we wait for the rest of the season to come out.
Basically Karkand at home map and the not a new map recycled map map
Man i wish this game had a campaign, is there even a story to this game to begin with or is each season it own thing? I started with that one season that had those cyborg human like enemies, idk how it got to that point

There is a story its written in the lore of the characters and in the player card descriptions and stuff like that
If they had a story campaign people would have actually grown to like the characters but we still have no real backstory or connection to these characters. It was a mistake that hurt the games success
It does, written one, go look in the codex in your profile, there is all you need to know about the battlefields, maps, no-pats, different fractions etc. i think the lore is quite interesting, you only need the patience to read the texts n stuff, but it’s real good

@@Unknownagitationyeah as great as Portal is, not to mention its free, its speaks volumes that from day one, its made people go back to the OG games than relive nostalgia on 2042. Even MW3 fared better than that and that's saying something.

Returned to this game 2 weeks ago. Its actually really good now., ive gone from hating it to loving it. Such a shame we have to go through the mess Battlefield games are released in every single time before we get to a good game.

no front intended but one Map is literally just a part of an old map and the other is basically a reskin of Arica Harbor
I hope they look into the Hazard Zone as well, because the Helldiver experience is so much fun that if BF manage to implement those kind of mayhem moments in tha Hazard mode it would REALLY make players at least try it and see what happens.

2042 is one of my favorite games. Lis and being anti vehicle is awesome. play your role and you’ll love it. like Hell Let Loose but faster.

Are you serious? Ain't we already have a map that is in Doha?? Uhhh hourglass?? My expectation was the 2nd map takes place in Iran like Battlefield 3 since the first one was in Chile like Bad company 2.
Sharqi Peninsula took place in Qatar, but I understand the disappointment.

"Two new maps" one was removed from the game earlier and now entered in as a new map. That's just false advertising! The stadium is cool but just call it like it is DICE.....
Bring the battle to the USA only in the game. The Russian attacked D.C state and New York on the East Coast. The maps that can be made are operation metro grand central station. And the Oval Office. Weapons from the USMC and US army both new and old can be unleashed.

WOW! I get it now. I went back to playing BF 1 and seeing that compared to this it’s clear BF 2042 has no identity. BF 2042 looks like it took bits and pieces from other games and tried to mash it into one. BF 1 is a gritty brutal war game, BF 2042 is a cartoony gimmicky multiplayer game. I will play season 7 when it releases but it’s almost guaranteed I’ll stop after a week or two.

Well many aren't...ARMA, Battlefield 1,3 and 4, BFBC2...you had some level of customization without going full clown gear.
Since HELLDIVERS 2 offers mayor entertainment, ill take back battlefield when it gets better, thanks see you in a while
