One thing you should probably mention is learning touch-typing and having a 50% keyboard is pretty important because your finger placement might mean your uncomfortable and press the wrong keys like tab instead of Q

Thanks for this video man. Just set up my KBM to my ps5 and I noticed we have the same keyboard, that makes me feel better about my choice for my first kb. I played my first 30 mins today on kbm and i was literal dog shit, nothing close to how I move on controller. Within the first 10 mins I wanted to give up and go back to controller but I spent way too much money on this set up bro. I’m gonna keep watching your videos and practice daily in order to improve

I honestly don't know bro - i think it's just something that develops naturally but if u really want good movement faster then i guess you can play deathruns or something. I think movement is mostly just getting used to ur binds

Yeah building is probably the hardest thing to do on KBM. I would recommend just practicing specifically building in like a freebuild and piece control, then try to apply it in like a public ffa like the pit, and then just repeat the process. That's personally what I did for a few weeks and I got decent muscle memory. Hope that helps.

is there a way to place builds instantly without having a place bind like on controller??
Great question! This was something that I was wondering about too when I first switched. Unfortunately, there isn't any good/effective way to do this, because you need a separate button to place your builds unlike on controller, when you're in build mode and all you have to do is press your build buttons. The only way this can be done is when you physically place an object on a key on your keyboard that you binded {place build} to weigh it down and emulate the "build mode" on a controller. However, it's important to note that this only makes it harder to build because you have no control over when the game places the build - it will do it instantly and it will be impossible to not mess up in any real game situation. I recommend getting used to a {place build} button on your mouse as soon as you can. Quite soon, you'll be used to it and it will be easy to build. This also allows for a significant amount of precision in your builds. Hope that helps!

@@dshre4der Well, if you're happy with your binds and used to them already, even if they're not the most optimal, I would recommend following a relatively strict practice routine that encompasses a variety of different fighting mechanics. You shouldn't even need to play for very long if you focus on specifically improving them. For example, if you plan to practice 2 hours each day(hypothetically speaking), you can do 4 different drills, 30 mins for each
Piece Control: 30mins
Editing: 30mins
Aiming: 30mins with a variety of weapons and ranges
General building/retakes: 30mins
This is a good start, but you can obviously build upon them as you wish. Hope that helps!

idk why but i use 2400 dpi and 8% x and y and it still feels slow
might be physical causes like a mouse pad that gives a lot of friction or a mouse that gives bad glide or some bug but if not then idk ur probably just built different bro😅

Can you still get good without side buttons cause my parents don’t want me spending a lot of money on a mouse
technically yes, but the only issue is the quality and suitability of the mouse if it doesn't have side buttons. It's probably just going to be a normal office mouse which is not good for gaming. It would be a very good investment and be beneficial to get a mouse with side buttons. You can get a decent mouse with them for really cheap - under 50 bucks

Also if your planning to go pro i would say use confirm edits for the big advantage it gives you. that why most pros use it like clix, asianjeff, pixsard(idc how to say it),mongral etc... but it comes down to aim if you have crazy aim turn it off because you could easly hit them the pros that have it off peterbot, buhga both have good aim.
