I’ve been changing my sens for a long time because I had to find the right stuff. I did finally so I’ve been improving. It’s been a crazy journey from switching! Everyone take vermax’s information it’s well worth to switch
this is a really nice story, I'm pretty sure some pros have started playing controller in the beginning of the game and as time when on they eventually switched to kbm. I'm pretty sure they struggled when playing kbm for the first time but got use to it eventually, great video btw.
Thumbs up I never play games on controller. Started playing this last year. Great advice. The only issue is host talks super f-ing weird. Probably not used to hosting/speaking. Definitely a good idea to switch over and try to get settings right.
9:32 feel the exact same way. felt like u can only get so good on controller and eventually u can’t get better. Like u said that u skill cap. With keyboard and mouse, ur restarting but that skull cap is way higher and the improvement speed is way higher. So once u get up to that skill cap on kbm u are 10x better than u were on controller. And tbh, on kbm there isn’t really a skill cap. Ur always getting better. I switched and it’s worth it

Nice story, I actually did this backwards, I started at the beginning of chapter 2 on mouse and keyboard, and played that way for a year. I switched to Valorant, and I saw some people failing to play it on controller because there is no aim assist. So I grinded Valorant and hit gold 3 on controller by learning gyro controls. 10 months later, and Fortnite adds gyro to the game. Now it's possible for a controller player to do anything a mouse player can without aim assist. I just started playing Fortnite on controller cuz I only ever played it on mouse, and I am already almost as good as I was on mouse because I have grinded gyro that long btw if anyone wants a gyro guide I have one on my yt
I switched to kbm a few months ago and I don’t regret it, my builds are 1000x much better than on controller the only thing is my aim with no AA it can be hard to hit shots sometimes but I don’t let that get to me because I’m building experience
@@AlHashemi.Idrissi seems like I’m better in creative than in pubs and arena although it might be because I have 50 ping in creative and high 60 ping in pubs and arena
@@AlHashemi.Idrissi I play on controller since the original season 2, and ive always been a console guy. Now i'm building a gaming PC for the first time, do you think i should switch to KBM even after so long? It's literally unplayable for me and it feels like i will never get used to it. Do you think i should stay on controller?
Thank you for the tips because I’m a controller player on Xbox and I want a pc and I’m trying to get good on keyboard and mouse so this really helps thank you
What u said at 6:36 always happens to me I just can’t control staying on kbm only plus I play on a ps4 144hz monitor so I have a lot of input delay any tips?

I started playing fortnite late Chapter 3 season 2 on PC. I made a huge advancment through my seasons. Knowing how to crank 90's and now fighting sweaty people in the pit and box fights. Now currently im learning how to piece control.
Hey vermax, I just came back in this chapter to Fortnite after quitting in chapter 2 season 3 and I’ve started playing on paddles and I’m improving but I want to switch to kbm. Would you recommend it in my position?
definetely im just giving you a heads up. I played paddles for over a year and man you will not be close to being good as kbm or claw players. The only reason to play control is if you play claw. Other than that switch to keyboard. I hope I helped someone.
You just inspired me to save my money for what I want and to keep on grinding on my laptop rn until i have enough money to buy a gaming pc showing my friend this video cause he plays on controller he pretty good but he probably could improve more with this encouragement and inspiration to play on keyboard on mouse.
I played on my family xbox one s until season 8, when my dad got an gaming laptop. i downloaded fortnite on it and started playing on kbm a bit but mostly controller. I would always play against my friends and tell them i was on kbm but i was actually on controller. I started getting progress slowly on kbm. Then i quit fortnite in like chapter 2 season 4 and started playing cs go and minecraft for like 5 seasons. That way i got familiar with kbm. Then i came back to fortnite on christmas when my friend got an xbox series s and something just clicked and i was quite good. Now im a kbm player and i am dog water on controller.
i love your vids is was so close to quit on kbm but you kept me holding on bc i saw you and other ppl are good and much better than controller not to hate controller
I played Fortnite since like 1st day of season 4 as I didn’t have anything to play it on until I got my Xbox, and I played on that since this year, and when I switched, I was already better in a week. I played around 2 hours a day until season x, where I quit for 4 seasons, which I regret, but my skill didn’t change and I wasn’t rusty. I highly recommend switching
The new Xbox series s is good with kbm and there is no delay I’m pretty sure, also a good monitor could help! Don’t mark my word for this because I am getting both of these and I hope to switch to kbm bc I can quad edit on control and I’m kind of at a cap of my skill level and I could be way better on kbm.

You're the reason I got my first pc and I didn't get Fortnite as my first game I got rust u had about 100 hours on rust so I was used to keyboard and mouse and when I played fn for the first time I was already above average and now that I'm playmore the m enjoying the game lots and wish to get even better thanks for the motivation.
said you were gonna show sensitivity etc settings but didn't. anyways I just got a kb/mouse for my PS5 for Fortnite a week ago. my aim is a problem that I can't get under control yet. its still shaky. I'm torn between getting a TV that does 120 hz or just building a PC to game on. I'm a Mac guy and the thought of running Windows again hurts my head.
Lucky for you I shared my PS4 and doing Fortnite quests were challenging plus the fact the PS4 I originally got in 2017 broke right away So I got anew one and started of playing in season 7 getting the marshmallow emote and glider
i remember playground mode, when i was nine i met another kid who was around 9 and we played 8 hours straight together during the summer. He is 13 now but we haven't talked since... hes been offline for 4 years:C
You are completely right vermax u have to be patient. When i started fn on ps4 in 2019 i had to play like a year to get my first kill. And the kill was throwing a grenade into the back of stairs😂 So be patient
I actually started playing Fortnite last season and kept switching back and forth. I really like the feeling of keyboard and mouse. I will most probably stick to keyboard and mouse, but rn I kinda just want to play fortnite as a good casual player. I just wanna build good and have good aim but thats just of rn.
i recently got a pc and play fortnite on kbm from being on controller pretty much my entire life and it is difficult tbh. im probably below average and its crazy that people play kbm and play so good.
Thank you man I quit it a long time ago but on Sunday I started back it’s my second day but thank you good luck for all the other PC players and consul
Honestly being a ps4 player, i think kbm is good but its not as enjoyable. i am decent enough at kbm to beat my friend who plays on it everyday even though i rarely play kbm. i just like ps4 more but yeah kbm is better for performance in arena and stuff
COntrary to what you may think controller is still a great input and it has some advantages such as better movement. It is also much easier to learn controller and far cheaper. So in conclusion, keyboard and mouse is a great input but so is controller as well.
Bro I just got a keyboard and mouse for Christmas and I'm practicing and I suck and like u said I keep switching between both and its slowing me down but now I won't switch and I will focus this really helped a lot btw thanks vermax

You are completely right vermax u have to be patient. When i started fn on ps4 in 2019 i had to play like a year to get my first kill. And the kill was throwing a grenade into the back of stairs😂 So be patient
I’m gonna have my brother hide my controller from me so I physically can’t play back on controller lol
I actually started playing Fortnite last season and kept switching back and forth. I really like the feeling of keyboard and mouse. I will most probably stick to keyboard and mouse, but rn I kinda just want to play fortnite as a good casual player. I just wanna build good and have good aim but thats just of rn.
u got that PC on my birthday lmao 4:40
thanks i saw u on my yt recommended and i js switched to keyboard and mouse and this helped a lot
i really love your vids keep up the good work
i recently got a pc and play fortnite on kbm from being on controller pretty much my entire life and it is difficult tbh. im probably below average and its crazy that people play kbm and play so good.
Thank you man I quit it a long time ago but on Sunday I started back it’s my second day but thank you good luck for all the other PC players and consul
6:30 good tip thx
this was very inspirational and I am saving for a pc so I can actually play fortnite with atleast 50 frames. I play on a laptop.
So in conclusion, keyboard and mouse is a great input but so is controller as well.
ive been trying to get good at kbm for about a month now and this video helped me a lot!
YO anyone else notice when he said “keyboard and mouse” his voice went high pitch😂😂😂
bro got his first pc for my birthday
Bro I just got a keyboard and mouse for Christmas and I'm practicing and I suck and like u said I keep switching between both and its slowing me down but now I won't switch and I will focus this really helped a lot btw thanks vermax
i switched to keyboard and mouse about 2 months ago and feel that i have improved much more than i ever could on console much love ❤❤❤❤
I really like the story I really like I will sub and I like ur game u are so good 😊😊❤❤❤❤
this guy is a big w ong he help me alot
this is a pretty cool story and i did the same thing but i never got a pc and i am still on xbox 1. I got a keyboard and mouse for fortnite but my mouse recently broke and i cant afford new one so i had to switch back to controller
I use the default keybinds for building, should I change them or keep them, or does keybinds not really change anything?
keybinds can help you for better edits and building but if you are comfortable with ur keybinds right now then keep them when u are ready to switch
I have also been considering to switch but I think I am you keep up the grind vermax
