@@Zen-xv9ti It's not as major as some think. Most of your effectiveness comes from understanding of the game and play style. One you go kbm with settings that feel right it will not take long. Host acts surprised how well he's playing in a month. But you will likely get acclimated within a week if playing much.

So I just switched to keyboard and mouse from controller and this may be a really dumb question but I honestly don’t know: for placing a build, is it normal to select the build you want with a bind and then click the left mouse button to place the build? Or do keyboard players only push the bind buttons for builds and it automatically builds not needing to press the left mouse?
haha, no you have to click the mouse button to place the build, however if you hold it down you can get that insant build experience.

What maps do you reccomend the most for improvement?
There's no secret map, it's your own work, building muscle memory and improving with time.
I mean there are good maps but I personally just hopped into random edit courses and aim maps and after 2 months I qualed for a cash cup

After 1 year of keyboard and mouse, I didn’t try to get good for 10 months. But I have been playing box fights and got decently good

You did great it should be easier for me because I play no build and switched from controller. With that being said kbm still to hard for me I’m having trouble even being able to move in the direction I want while using the mouse to look in the right direction
