Not to do brakes. Only reason I’d say that is for an electronic parking brake.. but you can just unplug the brake motor if you’re not resetting it with a scanner and doing it by hand
I just did brakes and rotors, sway bars and control arm and ball on my right side still have to do the left control arm and ball
What compression tool was that?

Not my decision. I always recommend it, but people just can’t afford everything needed anymore.
