Thanks for your question. To create Tiger Dragon: The Rebirth (first edition) it took me 12 months and then a further 6 months to create Tiger Dragon: The Rebirth (second edition). It really isn't about the equipment, since anybody can create a comic with Daz Studio even on low spec machines. Thanks for your question. You can save a pose as a template and use it on any character. For example if you save a genesis 8 female pose, you can use it on any genesis 8 character (male or female). If you apply the saved pose to big characters like The Brute, you will need to correct the pose since the limbs of that character are bigger in size. Genesis 8 poses can be used on Genesis 3 characters, however since the bones are different on Genesis 3 characters you will find the arms and legs will need to be adjusted, a lot. I hope this info helps you to achieve your goals with Daz Studio.
Nice tutorial. Good work. I'm new to the 3d world. Just started learning blender a few months ago. The thing I'm having trouble in blender is posing. It's very very hard for me to pose in blender and in Daz studio posing looks much easier. Do you think I can do more of the stuff(modeling, sculpting, texturing and etc.) in blender and use Daz studio only for posing?
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I'd recommend keeping everything contained to one software program if possible, to reduce complexity at the beginning. You can try the daz3d to blender bridge (This is free) to export daz3d assets into blender which may solve your posing issue.

Just quick question i followed your How To Change Skin Tone Tutorial and it work great however I am having trouble seeing any makeup effects (Eyeliner Eyeshadow in general) after applying the skin tone changes. Is there anyway I can change the makeup (Eyeliner Eyeshadow as mentioned) layer settings in DAZ under surfaces or any other settings as i cannot see the effects of the makeup after applying the skin tone?
The only thing I can think of is to apply the makeup before changing the skin tone, as when you apply makeup this sometimes changes the skin tone of the head and messes things up.
Hi thanks for sharing. Is there a way to make my own aniblocks once I bring in and save the animations as pose presets? I can bring in both mixamo and my own mocap animations via fbx and it works well and I can save as pose presets and even retarger to other characters. But how can I save it as aniblocks?
One thing you did NOT cover is the direct manipulation (mostly rotations) of joints in the main view. To me, this would SEEM to be the most obvious, but one which gives me a lot of trouble, though *pinning* I now see would help.
I disagree about saving the Hip's Y translation as when you apply this to a character that isn't on the ground floor, they will be moved out of their current position. I have had that happen to my characters and it is very annoying to have to move them back.
