The only bit I dont understand is if you have just dragged 3 folders in there called 'data' 'people' and 'runtime'....what happens when you add more content as those folders will also have the same names and will overwrite the existing ones?

I followed your directions. However... all i see now, is a white box, with an exclamation point! Doesn't load up. No items to be found. What did i do wrong?
I don't use the default location for my DAZ Studio content, but otherwise this is a good video. I also know that there is an application available on the DAZ3D store that will convert third party content to a format that can be installed with DAZ Install Manager, however, I think that will just install it in whatever your normal installation folder is.

I feel like there are holes in these directions because I've been doing exactly what you said in this video and every time I extracted data from zipped folders containing third party content they kept making my program into an unreadable mess. I had to delete the "third party" folders TWICE because they weren't working!

what if the content was not set up correctly by the artist? i have to click through multiple files to actually drag the data to the folder. very frustrating...
If the content was purchased at RenderHub, please shoot a message to Support. We'll make sure the vendor does an update to their product to get it right.
keep getting rendering errors saying missing files check log. One loaded but was in grey blocks, another loaded but just the base mesh for genesis 3 female. No texture or anything would load with it.

hi, I have, many assets to upload to my library, and almost all of them have DATA RUNTIME PEOPLE ENVIRONMENT etc etc. When I load them in my library, my pc asks me if I have to replace the data folder I have in my library with that of the new asset that I am uploading .... what should I do? thank you
is it normal, that those new third party things don't show up in smart contents? I find them (like in the video) in content library, but if I double click them, they don't import to my character >_>

You wouldn't happen to know how to completely uninstall Daz Studio do you? There is no uninstaller in any of the folders and nothing in Programs and Features.

The extra content just gets added, not overwritten.

Ok I don't have the view you show in that left pane showing the tree starting with Daz Studio Formats. How do I get that window?

You need like lighting or scenery but lighting can be bought on daz or renderosity or you can gte free ones in renderosities free stuff section
