- Finally more human characters and vehicles!! Absolutely love this new set from #Mattel. It’s not perfect (red stripe where you at?!?), but it’s a great value with all you get. Dennis Nedry is the standout of the set. They really nailed his look from Jurassic Park. The Dilophosaurus is a huge miss. Why wouldn’t they give it the JP1 colors. Other than those small gripes I’m really happy with it. A must add to any #JurassicWorld collection.

Yeah I totally agree with you about that purple Dilophosaurus, for me that is one of the biggest disappointments of the Mattel line, I just can’t understand why they couldn’t have just stuck to the original colours
You can use the amber collection dilophosaur and it could look really good
Great review man, I agree with the issues you have with it. That said I don't have the Jeep or a Mattel Dilophosaurus at all (just both of the JP Kenner ones) so I'm gonna have to try and swing by Target this week and see if I can snag this Nedry instead of having to rely on your generosity again 😄

All those missing components (no red stripe, no working winch, etc) to the Jeep feel like budget cuts honestly, with perhaps the exception of the tire branding which is probably a license that didn't get renewed (perhaps the same goes for the Barbasol can accessory, who knows). Real missed opportunity regarding that Dilophosaurus in regards to film accuracy, perhaps more so with the sculpt since you mentioned it, coloration aside (but what I did recently realize is that it does resemble the one in the Dino Rivals section of the facts app that was canceled too, interestingly enough). I'm still salty that Legacy squirting one (and the JPIII male raptor) in 2018 got canceled too.
Yeah I’m disappointed about them too. Since this set was concept art for so long I have some hope we may still see those figures in the future.

I don't know about this set. The more missing details I hear about it, the more I think this is only just an OK set. It may only be worth getting for the Nedry figure and/or the Jeep if you missed out on it previously.

This set is at my Target on sale for $20.99 right now, wierd since it's so new. The lack of paint on the jeep & the Dilo, I think that's a fair price from the get go

I can’t believe that the two most important things that happen in this scene aren’t included I can’t believe they had the gal to remove the winch handle and the were too lazy to include the barbosol can biggest disappointment since jp3 and I really can’t believe they didn’t even include the stripe they also removed the hood year logo on the tires AND the god damn doors don’t open. What the actual fuck Mattel

What are those 2 protrusive things (above the number 12) logo on the hood? The first legacy jeep does not have it.
Those are brackets. They are black on the real jeep. Just not sure what they add used for lol
@@DinoScreamReviews ok 🤔 the toy prototype jeep does not have it and the jeep does not have it in the movie. Why did Mattel not use the same jeep as the first legacy one.
also that metal looking weird red piece attached on the windshield... it should be all soft top. 🤣
@@DinoScreamReviews They are rubberized brackets that hold the windshield above the hood when the windshield is folded down.
This is the most disappointing thing since jp3 😂
