FILM DESCRIPTION:
In Steven Spielberg's massive blockbuster, paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and mathematician Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are among a select group chosen to tour an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. While the park's mastermind, billionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), assures everyone that the facility is safe, they find out otherwise when various ferocious predators break free and go on the hunt.

In the book, the way Nedry was eaten by the Dilopasaurus was more gruesome. His stomach w a s torn open as the Dilopasaurus slowly ate him. A gruesome way to go.

I know the Dilophosaurus doesn't understand him, but the way this scene plays out makes it easy to imagine that she attacked him because he insulted her 😂

Apparently, Wayne Knight was interested in coming back in another of the movies with possibly a missing eye and a prosthetic leg. His reasoning was "He was a big meal which it couldn't finish."

I have a theory: after the 1994 cleanup when his remains were discovered, Ingen decided not to tell his family about what happened to him since they were already in an unstable financial situation after having to pay wrongful death settlements to the families of Donald Gennaro, John “Ray” Arnold and Robert Muldoon. But after the san Diego incident, the UN ordered Ingen to release all of their findings of the 1994 cleanup and his family learned the truth about what happened to him. And when they did learn the truth about his death, they demanded that Ingen pay wrongful death compensation for his death but Ingen refused sighting that he was the one responsible for the incident at the park and stole valuable embryos from them in order the sell them off to a rival corporation. And of course they argued that even though he was responsible for the incident at the park and stole the embryos, that the dinosaurs were their creations and they were responsible for them and they knew the dangers that came with bringing them back to life but they didn’t care or listen and they were just in it for the money. And so, they sued Ingen for both wrongful death and criminal negligence and eventually in May of 1999, 2 years after the San Diego incident and 6 years after his death, his family was awarded 10 million dollars in wrongful death settlement.
