#mattel 93 Classics line returns after a one year hiatus!! Next is a extremely buff Dennis Nedry and a make no sense Jurassic Park 3 #hasbro #velociraptor?!? The motorcycle and Nedry fit into the theme of the set, but the raptor is a very off inclusion. There’s so many other Kenner dinosaurs that could’ve gone into this set. But rant over. Dennis is such a ridiculous 90s homage this set is definitely worth it!! A great addition to your #jurassicpark #jurassicworld #dinosaur collection.

This set seems more appropriate with the dilophosaurus we got with the Malcolm set. Other than that, I think it's pretty cool to have something Kenner-like. Hope they also do an Ellie, Muldoon, and Tim set like this.

I'm all here for the insanity of Dennis "Shredry." I could care less about the bike and the raptor, although the raptor is at least a cool color homage (to your point I guess they used up their Kenner electronic raptor homage with the Muldoon and park workers set 🤷‍♂️) and it looks like there is some fun to be had with the bike. Would have been cool if the Nedry accessory was a water squirter like both of the Kenner Nedrys had, but I like the chromed paint on it, I'll take it. Hopefully I get my copy in this week since my preorder charged the other day. Thanks for showing it off Greg 🍻

The raptor actually looks well-painted and would look even better w a dark wash applied onto it.
But even w all that, I can tell that this set is still going to remain overhated for its odd dinosaur choice.

At this point, for Mattel to continue selling raptors and more raptors in each new set they put on sale and not other dinosaurs, the only thing that comes to my head, is that they made thousands of molds of this figure and have to sell them somehow, it is incredible that after 6 years is still one of the dinosaur figures that they do not stop selling, even when the fans no longer ask for more, because they do not stop using it for these sets ....

@@AtrociCollector Someone explained to me (after I made the same complaint) that the main audience for all of the Jurassic toys is kids who are just getting into it. And the thing that appeals to them is the T. rex and the raptor, over and over and over again. So as much as collectors want something different, a dimetrodon just isn't as cool for that kid.

@@robbjmc2 It is not a valid excuse, if so then none of the other dinosaurs would be sold, a child is not interested if it is a raptor or a T-rex, he is only interested if the dinosaur looks cool, for example my nephew, He is 6 years old and by far his favorite dinosaurs are the brachiosaurus and the carnotaurus, so using that as an excuse for Mattel to continue putting the same species of dinosaur over and over again in these sets is not valid, besides there are t-rex and raptors in abundance, they are not like a figure for which a child is going to suffer to find. 🤦‍♀
