The videos will not play on that website. It just says “click here to watch” and that takes you back to the same page.
I don’t see anyone on RUclips making vids like this on a consistent basis and at a high level, except your channel.
The BC govt should be sponsoring your vids because you make the province look amazing!
Adventure 4WD is the only other one I can think of... I have been following Chris for years. Different content type though, he's mostly travelling solo. Chris was some kind of IT guy, divorced. He sold/packed up everything and just took off in his jeep. Sink or swim. He's still swimming!!!! The opportunity is there but you need to always be finding the new and interesting.
@@scottymac5174 I love Chris’ channel.
This channel deserves sooooo much more of a following. Hands down one of the best channels on youtube. The consistent high quality content and production value is IMO better than anything on TV now. This channel is amazing. This guy deserves a million dollars an episode. Plus Braun!
Haha thank you
"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life" - It isn't a 9 to 5 and but I'm sure you spend more than 40 hours per week.
And your desk is parked in the driveway, calling you back.😂
I’m not sure how, but your channel fell off my normal video suggestions on RUclips. I’m so glad this one popped up. It’s been a few months since I watched your channel. I’m a big bearded mountain man and I’m nearly in tears watching this. You are doing exactly what you are destined and made to do. Always incredible cinematography and storytelling, and your ability to do that every single time amazes me still. Keep it up, but not to be afraid to loose it… rather because it’s so clear you love it. Well done, brother, well done.
Thanks for watching and your comment. I appreciate it.
Great stuff. You definitely put in the work. Keep it up brother.
Cool cool. Always love these type of success stories.
The us is one of the best places for off road . Thanks for stopping by California 👌🏻 . Wish you would record down here in California
Sometime i wanna sell my taft gt for economic issue, it is my trail to explore and advanture the nature but when i see it and rethink its so hard to let it go because i will lose a big value of life balance and its priceless..
The only Channel, i watch every single week... I love what you are sharing with us!
I'm not sure I have anything to add to the amazing comments already on here so I'll just say this: Your work has literally changed the focus of my life, my focus on adventure with my kids, my adventures with my wife, my whole take on life itself and what it should be. What you experience is what we should all be caring about, leaving all the stuff on the news behind us. The relationships, the experiences, the life adventure itself is all that matters. Thanks for that man...
Thanks Chad!
Great Shaun , you’re The best.
I’m from Italy, and with my girl and our little Suzuki Jimny do Overland.
Sorry for the language.
My friends and I are wondering what kind of radio that is you have in your gladiator. It’s a super slim cb or something. Thanks
Great job on the video. A quick question on your voice overs did you do those while you were editing on the road or did you wait until you got home. Keep up the great work.
I did these ones at home but I carry a recorder with me to do them in the road if needed.
Love it Shaun !!
I'm wondering when your heading to Colorado are trails are the best in North America you can run to over 13k ?
Of ya you can keep your Cucumbers here. 🤣
Could you get more mileage by splitting your videos into 2 15 chunks? A part 1 and part 2 of an adventure?
That would essentially decrease performance by 50%. It would be seen as a negative by the algorithm.
@@TheStoryTillNow I never realized this was your income. Tough way to make a go of it. Love the content. Keep up the good work!
I wonder how Nate from Dirt Lifestyle does it? He could be missing out on a bunch of pay and subscriptions. Your videos and his are pretty much all of my entertainment. Can’t forget Litebrite.
The link to the additional episodes seems to be down or something
Works fine for me.
@@TheStoryTillNow I think it was my works internet at the time. I watched the whole series now lol
Of all of these kind of videos, this channel consistently not only published the most content, but the highest quality content. The post-production work and the camera work (both of which have to be a tremendous pain in the ass) are simply incredible considering what limited resources are available/used by the channel. I lived vicariously through channels like this and especially this channel as the quality of the videos allows me to even more to the places and events - as if I was riding along.
I can't say that Shawn's videos are saving lives, but they are certainly improving, inspiring, and entertaining lives. And that's a pretty huge accomplishment.
💯
Thankful that you're willing to put in the extra time and effort that it takes to make these happen!
Keep up the good work. RUclipsrs like yourself help me push to finish my rig and get out on the trail.
I’ve commented many times on many videos. Your cinematography is bar none some of the most beautiful landscape shots I’ve ever seen. Your narration makes the viewer think that they’re right there with you guys. Thanks for the dedication and effort you put into this channel. Be safe and keep them coming.
Believe it or not, taking my rig to BC and meeting up with you and your crew is on my bucket list.
Shaun I bet you never thought your videos would have the worldwide reach that they have now. Watching you all the way in Australia & absolutely hooked. Thank you so much for all the adventures you take us on.
4wd 24/7 is good too. You guys in Aus know how to build a rig!
If you don’t think RUclips is a real job then you haven’t tried to taking videos and then editing (which takes a long time). Basically, these are made for TV episodes that are shown on RUclips.
Wow, it was funny to hear you talk about the van life folks in that manner, but was refreshing to see and hear your candor. Even though I partake in watching these kinds of videos from time to time- to be honest I've kind of said it the same way about you guys, bummed how you've brought everyone and their kitchen sinks outdoors. Hope you enjoyed your visit into our beautiful country.
Everyone is welcome to their opinion.
Yeah, I found it ironic that a Canadian tourist was complaining about all the tourists in an area of California which has long been known to be overused, hence the recent restrictions on the camping in that area.
It would be like me going to Banff and complaining about all the tourists there.
It's great to see a fellow Canadian achieve his dreams... never stop mate.
It's like making an entire TV show, except by yourself, and for less money.
Great first episode, Dave. Shaun, I was going to ask you how you really felt about van lifers, but from the comments before me it looks like you might be explaining that one for a long time! Alabama Hills was crowded even before the current van life and off-roading trends. Beautiful place, but way too damn many people. Oh, and if that guy drives down six times a year, he should probably learn how to pronounce “Mono Lake”-there are some weird pronunciations in that area… not sure why.
Sean brother every time I watch your videos I feel like I'm watching a movie OK you're cinematography just in the last 2 years alone has gone through the roof your film ography your video auger fee is amazing, yeah your job as a RUclips or dude is full time and it's awesome and you know if I would have known about RUclips 10 years ago I would have gotten into it 10 years ago but now I'm gonna be 43 years old and I think it's a little too late for that for me but I've been watching your videos for 3 years now and they just keep getting better More informative more clear and it shows your hard work and dedication Sean to your craft!!!!! Keep the awesome videos coming brother I'll keep continue to watch them as I am wishing I could be driving through the mountains of British Columbia Colombia with you And the dirty and dangerous crew
Love your content. But your sentiment about "Van Lifers" confuses me. As an outsider looking in, I really don't see much of a difference between what you do and what they do. Why do you have so much contempt for them?
I don’t, I was just irritated because the area we wanted to camp was shut down due to too many people basically living there in vans.
@@TheStoryTillNow ok that makes sense! Thanks for responding and keep up the great work!
This is just amazing. Can’t wait to see more “bts” content. It inspires me to go on my adventure trips !
Amazing documentary. Love the channel!
Beautifully done, thanks for the inspiration. Believe me, I've been a Realtor, and what you're doing here is waaaayyy more fun. You didn't miss a thing. Keep building on your success, I'll be watching and taking notes, new subscriber here... :)
Thanks!
The best story telling and cinematography out there. I can’t believe you don’t have a million subscribers. I’m stuck on a project in the San Juan Islands for a year and a half and am living my off-road dreams through your videos, thanks.
Turn around “ well isn’t that half the point ???”
Clean your garage bud!
Great Job with the channel tho, amazing growth. Although I do feel your selling out a bit, stick to your roots man. Don’t lose that drive you once had! 🍻
Man I feel you on Alabama Hills - that's in my neck of the woods (a couple hours away). It was SOOOO depressing about them closing down most of the areas there. It's just become to "van life" popular and it's always hammered there now. One night I was able to sleep out there but it was a nightmare. I suppose I'll see where you end up in the video but at 20:43 I can so relate. Its kind of depressing that I've lived so close and just recently learned about that area only to be really unable to explore and enjoy it. Well, and if you happen to be out there when it's windy (most of the time) it can be miserable out there...
Met Shaun last Saturday at Glacier. Really cool, dude. Very friendly. Thanks for the stickers and for letting us take a photo with you, Shaun!! :-) #SafetySecond
Nice to meet you! :)
You are the Spielberg of off-road RUclipsrs -- absolutely gorgeous cinematography! You should have at least several hundred thousand subscribers. I think if you added regular segments in your videos that focus on the camping aspect -- campfires, cooking, camp gear -- then the channel's appeal would broaden and the subscriber base would grow much faster. Though I have camped quite a bit this year I've probably spent even more time looking at campfire cooking on RUclips. It is the next best thing to being there....
I have liked all of your videos I have watched which are many but in this one you rag on van lifers and rver’s… if you are 4wheeler out landers why are you parking in van lifers and rv spots?
The places you go to on your off roading are much better.
Shaun, what I love most about your videos is how you keep the video rolling even during the sketchiest of situations you find yourself in. Of course that’s what makes the story, but I’m sure I’d be like, screw the video, I’ve got to get out of this situation alive! But this is what separates yourself and your content from the rest. True professional. Thank you!
This was such a rad series start!!!
Epically glad you did not become a real estate agent!
God has a plan for everyone. He knew what was best for you at the time. We all get to watch all your AWESOME EPIC ADVENTURES...in my lifetime, I might never have a chance to do, so I totally enjoy watching all the EPIC ADVENTURES, along with beautiful scenery footage & fun y'all have. Plus, introducing new items to add to a jeep👍💯👍💯👍💯THANK YOU for sharing 🙂
Man, how would it be? Have to admit a bit of envy here, getting compensated and sponsored for what you love to do. I know the work you're putting into your production values and it's great to see that paying off for you.
Hey there brother! Long time subscriber first time commenting love your channel and your content 👍 Hopefully 1 day I could meet you and your clan! 😁If you ever decide to come to Texas and visit Big Bend National Park I would like to join you on that epic journey! I’ll keep my fingers crossed! 🤞🏻 Can’t wait to see your next video this is Big Boy Frank from Texas Peace out ✌️ and safe travels!
Keep on going, Shaun. I love your channel. We stopped overlanding due to Covid19. Cheers Ro, Auckland, NZ
Everyone needs to blow up their social media and get folks over here to...LIKE...Subscribe and hit the bell! Great content and always appreciate seeing parts of the world I'll never get to see...never say never. You've got great spirit! Thanks from Southern Michigan.
Shaun- I plan to build out a 4x4 Astro van and now I plan to make a sticker that says, "The Story Till Now loves VanLife" keep up the awesome content!!!
Watching this video and when you drove thru Eugene I was just like that Leonardo DiCaprio meme! If you come back thru I'd love to buy you guys a beer!
If you want to step it up use ND filter on your drone. Get a Panasonic 8K pro video cam. Look at B&H they’re the best.
Alabama is great in the golden hours. Work hard, play hard. 👍🏻
Awesome documentary. Welcome to California, a beautiful and seriously overpopulated state, with lots of people with lots of money. I built a rig to go places where others can’t go, but unfortunately so did everybody else too. I go to remote places with super gnarly access roads, only to find convoys of overlanders with $100k super built rigs, and every conceivable camping gadget you can imagine. The problem with Alabama Hills is that it’s too close to civilization, and most of the campsites are easily accessible by a regular 2wd sedan. And it doesn’t help that every adventure RUclipsr on the planet has been showing it off for the last few years. On top of that, the BLM folks have decided it’s too crowded, so they’ve banned dispersed camping in a lot of the areas, and are working on a permit based camping system 😢
Land of the free…
@TheStoryTilNow, Shaun the long and curvy road that never ends just keeps going when will it ends nobody knows, all those spectacular views are awesome absolutely beautiful no words can describe, Awesomeness brahda keep doing what your doing brah, I enjoy watching your channel, hang loose see you guys lathas, stay safe and safe travels brahda 👍 🤙✌ 👊
When I still lived in Los Angeles county the eastern Sierras where my playground lone Pine Independence Whitney portal.,...man definitely some good memories. Used to explore Cerro Gordo prior to it getting blown up by Brent and his channel which I'm super stoked about because it's a really cool place and Brent is doing an amazing job up there
I've been watching your vid since 2019.And I really love off road. All your vids are freaking awesome. And I am one of your off road fan from Myanmar ❤️. Thank you for your off road knowledge. It means a lot to me.
I love this type of video where its almost like a behind the scenes look. Super cool man!
I have never commented on your videos or filming but it is very well done👍👍. Really and truly enjoy watching and listening to your you tube videos!!!!
Keep up the good job 👏👍.
Another great video! I'm just a few hours away and haven't yet been there, maybe this winter. But you can't go to Alabama Hills and then complain about tourists and vanlifers. That's a tourist area and accessible to vans, only makes sense. You gotta find the spot you did where they can't go. Jeepers, vanlifers, overlanders, everyone is taking over these places, just the way it is unfortunately. These places are more and more accessible to everyone and we're all paying the price for sure.
#the story till now...very much exciting and makes you feel strongly interested and enthusiastic... you are one of the most inspiring people I've ever met, keep goin bro♥️
Just came across your channel absolutely awesome content! Soon I'm purchasing a
Fj cruiser and can't wait to hit the road and get out!
Have a decent range of offroad down where i am victoria Australia. 🔥🤘😆
I am so glad you didn't go to film school, they teach bad habits. You do a much better job than most RUclipsrs and I've not seen a movie in years that didn't irritate me. You keep your music to a tolerable level so that I can actually hear what you're saying. It's such a problem with many channels that I often find myself wishing that RUclips would ban music entirely. You also do great camera work and don't screw it up with ridiculous filters.
Amazing. You have a great work ethic. You’re videos show. Hands down, best off road vids! Thanks brother!
Check out Skyline Drive in Utah. It's like a 100 mile dirt road on top of mountains with non-stop scenic views. Also check out the Lost Coast in California.
Did you know when you camped in the Alabama Hills you were looking at Lone Pine Peak in the foreground and Mt. Whitney to the right in the background?
While I might have bought a house from you, its more likely I'm a sub for life! Glad you took this road...👍😎🇨🇦📷
Spectacular ! TSTN is just so engaging - content and editing is wonderful - authentic wheeling with some of the most off the grid trails imaginable - Shaun is talented and it shows .
I'm in NY and just so envious of the locations these folks get to explore . I'm ready to retire , get a rig and hit the road !!
The Province of BC, through the camera of the Story Till Now, an adventure like never before.
I always think I have no room packing MY rig up for a trip. But then I think of all the extra film bags u need. Thanks foe the videos
Very interesting, can't wait for this channel to explode with subscribers! Your content is always top-notch quality entertainment. It makes me want to adventure.
Wow that's awesome good job man very good ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹💞💞💞💞😍😍😍👍👍👍🤠🤠🤠
My dad whos 75 years old and can barely use his phone found your youtube channel and absolutely loves it. I watch every episode and your channel has encouraged me to try many things. So thank you.
I'm pretty stoked you didn't become a realestate agent Shaun.... Dodged a bullet there bud. Keep killing it up there, it's pretty cool to see.
Very cool kind of look behind the scenes. Thanks for providing me content to watch at lunch while I am stuck in my 9 to 5. Also. Need to make safety second shirts in 5xl
Mono Lake is where High Plains Drifter w Clint Eastwood was filmed. Another great video.
This is my Favorite RUclips Channel 👌🏻👌🏻The story till now
Oh my God, thank you! I'm not certain I could fly a drone while driving, but I always wondered how you did that. I'm in awe.
Wow, Shaun. This is awesome! I started watching you because I knew you were in BC.....I kept watching you because of your production skills. Believe me, being a real estate agent isn't all that. See you around the Lower Mainland sometime!
Why is this video so dark? No colors, nothing pops, very cinematic but leaves my eyes straining to see the beauty that I know I’m missing…
This channel is awesome. As a East Coast boy I get to see the other side of the country weekly.
Much Luv ❤🚙 🇨🇦!
Americans buddy, we love our comforts. Even though I'm not a vanner they do have an appeal.
Excellent video looking forward to the next one. I thought it was rather funny at the end of the video where you were at the campsite and they had the small issue with the gas one of the members in the group asked you if you got that on film. LOL. Do they even make film any more???
I've been watching off road RUclips channels for a long time... I even just started a small one myself. I gotta tell ya man, none of the other "big" off road channels (lite Brite, trail recon, jailbreak over lander etc...) even come close to your production value). They are all great, don't get me wrong... But this channel has so much more depth to it than any other. You know how to tell a story and your cinematography is quite simply amazing. Thank you for all your hard work and inspiration. I'd be happy to get even a quarter of the way to the level your channel is at. Which, by the way, you deserve WAY MORE subs than you have at the moment. I know our niche isn't for everyone, but you should definitely be well above the other off road tubers when it comes to subs. You guys rock bro. Definitely my favorite channel.
Thanks buddy!
Amazing video! This is equivalent to NAT GEO for off roading. Loved it!
Smart man using davinci resolve, I just switched a month ago its a game changer.
Definitely
excellent video Shaun, Def made me think of my approach and what I need to do to be unique. Thanks
Most current DJI drones can be set to automatically follow the truck vs. having to drive both at the same time!
Your channel is one of the best overland and Off-road channels on RUclips 🤯
I agree...the drone shot cinematography is what gets me every time. I have literally had tears in my eyes in some episodes with how God's creation is captured!
I feel you about the more touristy places when you've been a long time camper. Some of the music in this video was most excellent.
I am a die-hard Jeep Man. But that broncos looking good 👍👍👍
My other question that I have for you Sean I think I'm one of your biggest fans I don't know anyways like I said I've been watching your video for 3 years now and your contact is just the best of any RUclips or that I watch by far especially you're drone like like like epic adventure was saying ayou're saying about your drone footage how long did it take you to get that good and how did you get that good at it just practice trial-and-error sir you have some of the best drone footage of any RUclips or out there my friend and I'm not just saying that I mean I watch a lot of RUclips and I don't even have cable cause I just watch RUclips You have the best drone footage that I've seen out of all the overlanding people
Thanks! I just do it every weekend so I get a lot of practice.
Love your videos. I am here every week from Western Kentucky USA.
Watching from Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🤙
You do you. And if you can make a living having fun , then so be it. More power to you
Love your dedication and drive, I need to get out there. I watch you every week, you and your friends please keep it up
Has it been a dream job for you? You seem really happy doing it.
Absolutely
EPIC AF!!!!!!!!!!!
the real-estate business LOSS in our GAIN Shaun !!! 👍👍
Van lifers are also responsible for all the toilet paper stuck in the sage everywhere. Nasty.
