Hope you guys enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed filming it while driving backwards up a sketchy shelf road. 😄
Man, I prefere a little Suzuki Jimny to drive on this Way! 😂 Great vídeo Shawn!
I enjoy watching all your content🤘
Elephants are jealous of the set you got. 😲
Of course enjoyed it as always, great work bro.
my fav offroaders
My wife had a good quote on your videos, you do the filming and Canada does the work with the scenery. Good job, love it.
7:00 minutes in, this is crazy rad. That road is very narrow and steep, my e-bike was spinning going up there hahaha. Great job gents.
Also, I can confirm with confidence the other side is not possible in a truck. I took the trials bike up that side a few years back, and it is only single track for much of it.
Thanks Dustin! Yeah I took a good look at it and it looked pretty knar. Awesome place to explore though. Shame there’s no mine shafts left to check out.
This was stunning! The scenery and cinematography in your videos never disappoints, this is next level. This is one of the ones that I'm going to share with my friends that have zero interest in off-roading, but will love the scenery.
A trail for a 2dr jeep.
Excellent video, that took balls 👍
It looks like a fun drive and thank you for sharing. It does make me appreciate my mountains. This looked like a wasteland after a appocalypse comparered to all the trees im used to seeing. I love it lol
Greetings from Brazil! I've been loving all your content, more than an outdoor adventure you show a more poetic point of view and i just get myself mesmerized whenever i watch a new episode. Keep posting!
Awesome video. I took my old CJ 7 up there about 18 years ago. If you went to the very top, the view is incredible. Its a good little hike.being that I lived around there, there is way more to explore. I never did find all the areas I wanted too. Plan on moving back oneday. As always love your videos. And hope to see you on the trail someday
All your videos are incredibly well put together. I look forward to each one. This one tho, like you said, the colors were spectacular. Backing up and down a narrow shelf road was cool to watch. Mad skills! You’re an exceptional content creator and an inspiration. Keep it up!
Thanks!
As someone who has been making jeep videos for about a year, now I can say without hesitation, the story till now is the best cinematography and production value 4x4 RUclips I have seen love your shit so well done
That trail was likely made by and for short wheelbase MBs.
You never disappoint. You are an artist, a story teller, and one hell of a film maker! Thank you for taking us to places the rest of us can only dream.
Atlas twin stick/ front dig keeps you from having to back up shelf roads (sometimes). Absolutely thumbs up for doing it though! Great vid!
Wow. One of your best shot videos ever. The cinematography was off the charts. And kudos to you for having the cajones to drive that shelf road. Not once but twice...in reverse! Insane!
I have to agree with you sir. The colors are amazing. It looks like a oil painting. Beautiful country. I hope that is stays that way for years to come. Thank you for taking us on your journey.
@The Story Till Now Fantastic video! Years ago I found myself on a similar road. I was in my brand new 1500 Ram 4x4, along with a few of my friends in their trucks. The road ended up being a dead end and was super sloppy as it was raining. Fortunately, there was enough room at the end for us each to take multiple 3-point turns to get pointed in the right direction to drive out. Unfortunately, there were a bunch of areas where some heavy vegetation was growing on the "wall" of the trail. I had to drive my brand new truck through it both ways😂.... It looked like someone had repeatedly drug a rake down each side of my truck. I had figured I'd knock the new out of it at some point, but it was seriously like two weeks old.🎉
That terrain and scenery was incredible! Crazy shelf roads, too! Thanks for sharing it.
awesome, awesome video. That scenery was truly EPIC. It's cool that you keep finding new areas to explore. The family of mountain goats was a real treat, it's so amazing that they survive there and get around so easily. Thanks for sharing!
I always assumed you guys would eventually get to 'my backyard'. Glad you enjoyed it, that particular area is quite unique, eh? Our fire pit at home has numerous rocks in from that area lol
Where is this? I'm not in BC but would love to check it out once at some point.
best off roading channel out there. Can't beat the production on these.
As usual, I remain blown away by the terrain up there. I'm beginning to think that I should stop wishing that I could see it one day, and start actually planning to make it happen!
No matter what's going on in my life man, no matter how stressful things get, your videos help me remember life is, one big adventure if you see it that way. That's what we're born to do. Somehow it gets lost in the daily repeated grind.
These vids feed the soul. A sense of freedom and exploration.
Glad you’re enjoying them!
That lake looked like a friggin mirror. I know you’ve been on hundreds of adventures, but judging by how enthusiastic you were when saying “that was incredible” I know it really had to be something special. I look forward to seeing that in person someday
I've been watching several your videos found by accident then it didn't take long till I got totally hooked! Man I love what you guys do. The trips and the scenery and that music The music gives these videos flare and excitement. Makes me think of the days way back in the 1980's and '90's when I used to do some overland adventures here in the Blue Ridge Mountains the High Country of North Western North Carolina. I had 5 Jeeps in my day and enjoyed each one Now I have a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Express Cab 4x4 and that rig is as wide if not wider than a Hummer ! Wild. But I'm in my 60's retired and a Retired NC Certified Level-1 Firefighter after 35 years which I miss and I have arthritis in my left knee that affects my left leg that has really slowed me down I wish I didn't have this stuff but I'm thankful that I still can get around and enjoy what is special Life.
I love these videos and I'm so glad I ran upon these. Make me feel So Gooood ! I mean I wish I had one of my Jeeps back but it is what it is. Memories that last forever. Keep up the great work putting out these videos. Man I am so hooked. Love it man Truly hits a soft part in my heart for all the beauty that is out there to be explored. Love you guys. What a inspititation to us all. Great.
So glad you enjoy them.
Amazing. Simply addicted to the content of this channel. Incredible editing and images.
Thank you for the beautiful work and inspiration.
Glad you enjoy it!
That place looks so incredible. I would have a hard time leaving it. The video work was on point. Not sure if you got a new drone but all your drone footage made this video so much more amazing the clarity was so good. Thanks for the awesome adventure.
Thanks!
What an awesome trip! I would be right there with you at the top! Love shelf roads! Chef Morey and Chef John should make a " trail recipe" book! thanks guys for sharing this trip!
Everyone stop complimenting this channel and Shaun!!! It's all FAKE. There are no places like this on earth. There's no one that good with a drone and photography. There's no one that great at story telling and video editing...........and I'm JUST KIDDING. Dude you are on another level once again with this one. Seriously why are there not 1 million subscribers already. You're so blessed with this awesome talent and incredible place to live so close to these amazing areas you travel. I'm just a little for fun channel here in the US but I'm always so inspired by your work. I also still think about that CHP officer who spoke to you and the epic guys on that CA trip video who told his inspirational story about your channel, the travels, and videos while he was laying in a hospital bed. For anyone who needs a humble experience, watch that video and listen to that guy and look at his face. You are truly the bench mark when it comes to adventure /cinematic video.
Thank you!
I can tell you are feeling confident! That was the best I’ve ever seen you document your adventure. Keep pushing on your journey and remember there is no final destination.
Holy smokes, what a crazy beautiful spot Shaun. With each video you put out it makes my itch to get the hell out of Florida and back home to Colorado that much worse. Thanks so much and keep them coming!!
Wow, what a landscape! Absolutely stunning!
This was incredible - I was mesmerized the entire time! Thank you for bringing us along!
Shawn = Sketchy road king 😉 Great job, thanks for sharing!
Awesome video as always! Sometimes a small truck works better on those old logging and mining roads - the Trail Destroyer looks like it has the turning radius of a battleship. Thanks for showcasing underappreciated areas of the province like Williams Lake so that people can see that BC is more than just green bumps by the water. The tourism ministry should be sending you cheques man! Don't go up there in the winter even if you were to get 50K likes - looks like avalanche central in some of those valleys and slopes.
I've done some crazy driving while doing repo. You have to drive into and out of some impossible situations all while towing, possibly someone mad/chasing, and causing zero damage to structures and the towed vehicle.
I can backwards drive like a champ anywhere.
So coming from me, I feel my compliment carries some weight. Nice job wheeling that shelf road.
Man when you came over that hill and that perfectly still glacier lake appeared out of nowhere...chills
Gosh Shaun
You made me nervous just watching you and I knew you survived because the video is on RUclips. Also, the drone footage of you backing up means you were flying it while you were backing up. Insane man.
Me encanta que conducís despacio, ¡ese es el espíritu todoterreno!
9:14 man that road to the peak was insane! What a view!
Awesome video as always TSTN. That was one awesome road the views were so spectacular and so beautiful. Look forward to watching y'all drive this road in the winter.
What an awesome trip. From down here in the States, I often forget there are places like this just north of me.
I freaking love watching these!! They sure put you on the edge of your seat in the best way possible! I have always wondered how much a build like that jeep would cost to get myself lol
That was a awesome video. Looking forward to the snow track this winter. Also Paul’s Ram build looks Epic 👍
That looked fun to drive😁
It certainly is a different landscape that I'm not used to seeing in B.C.
The food looked delicious 😋 You were well taken care of in that department 😃
Thanks for the enjoyable video😁
If you have ever heard of the Morrison Jeep trail in Wyoming... Do a RUclips search. Something like 18 switchbacks. Don't know if its still even passable... You would love it. Apparently the upper portion is now open. The lower portion along the river is still closed. that means a down and up. Correction: The upper trail is open to the top of the switchbacks.
Awesome episode!! This one took some serious map scouring to find.
Man, impressive film !!!! Without words !!!!! Top of the top ! Congratulations from Portugal !!!!
Great area! Im in WL, saw you guys on the 97 coming in to town. Searching for another TJ to get out there into more knarly trips again.
One of the best ones yet! The pucker factor was real.
I did this trail on Saturday in my 2 door bronco, wicked views and awesome area to explore, didn't have to go up backwards though
2 door life 👍🏻
Every video just gets better and better. Amazing skills, man. Great camera work
BC without the snow is truly an amazing place. High elevation, above the tree line.
I woulda backed up that!! It might be on our list of places to go 😎👍
I just took my OffGrid Trailer up a steep and sketchy shelf road to camp at Two Sisters in Wells. I have considered taking it to Jesmond, which is way steeper and has two switchbacks at the top. I just told someone a week ago, “the only way I could get it up there is to back it up to the second switchback, theres room to do it” 🤪
Reality sets in and I know backing my trailer up, then down, a steep shelf road is ridiculous, and of course I wont do it… but to back up a shelf road withOUT a trailer… oh ya!! Any day!! 😁
😱every single video is just jaw dropping like each video is just better than the last 🤯
Reminds me of the Telluride area. Great stuff, brother. Keep it up!
I watched a lot of camping channels but you are amazing. You are always ready to accept any challenge and your videography is at another level. I really enjoyed your videos. Much love and appreciation from 🇵🇰 pakistan. Keep up the good work.
Heck ya I'd drive this road! I love the Williams lake area, so beautiful down there. Another cool one is to check out the suspension bridge by Gang Ranch
Dude just continues to pump out amazing content. Feel like I’m watching a movie in every episode and Shawn your drone flying is out of this world.
I’d totally do that shelf road up for that view. Know your rig and capabilities and anything is possible.
Incredible scenery and editing! A+ thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, quite the scenery!! Looks like the Chilcotin.
Some of the best productions anywhere on RUclips!
That shelf road took some balls of titanium man. Congrats on the accomplishment.
Those goats though! Insane!
I'm a new subscriber. Awesome episode! On those narrow trails, glad you didn't find someone else going opposite direction! Love the views, and mountain goats.
Safe travels, GOD Bless
Northern rockies are incredible! I'm in Colorado, and it comes close, but you win😊
They are incredible indeed! However this was filmed in the coastal mountains not the Rockies.
@@TheStoryTillNow oh! I may need to get out there then. Very cool!
Loving the videos Shaun! Idk if anyone saw but it looked like there was something on top of the one peak at ~21:13
I noticed it in the footage also but wasn’t able to figure it out. Could be a hiker, or an emergency supply box
New subscriber here. I have a cabin near there at Charlotte Lake. Some amazing alpine areas around there. And quite essily accesible. Love the production and drone shots. 👍
Roads like those tight switchbacks makes me miss my 87' Suzuki Samurai. Little bugger could go almost anywhere.
Again, great adventure... driving backwards on a shelf road is now on my bucket list...how many kilometers were you and how much fuel did you begin with? Thanks till next video!
Keep it coming Dude! Your weekly episode never fail to amaze me…👍👍👍
Drone video is so amazing. Keep up the good work.
Soooooo jealous of your lifestyle & your scenery,BC looks stunning, keep on wheeling stay safe
Definitely nailed it with this location! Amazing place!!!
Choking on BC fire smoke right now in NE Washington state, bummer. Great video as always
Love this episode! High elevation shelf roads are my favorite. Well done Shaun!
One of my favorites....wow what a view!!
@3:42 - that Rebel looks really nice
Amazing scenery for sure! And yes I probably would drive up that road… but my rig is about a foot narrower than yours.😉😎
The rumble of that 426 under the hood of the Trail Destroyer never gets old. So fun.
Man, reversing up and down that shelf road... You're insane and an absolute beast!
It's nice to see Paul getting out of the shop and going on more Epic adventures.
I’m just here to make sure Shaun does more sketchy wild stuff 👍
@@EPIC-4WD mission accomplished 🤣
That is so amazing, you go to some truly awesome places!
I've never been a fan of "shelf roads" that have, what I feel is, a bad risk to reward. Living close to this amazing place for so long, I've toyed with the drive, but just can't do it. Next season, I think we will take the rip on our adventure bikes (just seem like I can have more space). I got sweaty palms from just watching this.
Amazing footage! Great video
Wow, absolutely awesome!! This is why BC is the best place to wheel!!! Yes I'd totally drive my truck to that peak!!!
Very well done, my friend.
Seriously? Unbelievable, congrats on that accomplishment. Another great video. Just finished a trip and some little ones were arguing with there parents cause they thought my JT was your old Trail Wrecker 😂 and thought I was you. I was pretty honored and happy to meet more TSTN fans.
That trip was crazy Shawn. Beautiful B.C. Showing off your skills. Can’t wait for the next video. Cheers
Great views! Wish I could experience British Columbia the way you get to experience it!
Man, I would love to go up there, and bring back some samples of those tailing piles, I bet there is a lot of gold in them still, old "glacier beds" like that are always loaded with fine & flour gold.. What an amazing place Shaun.
Great content Shaun but keeping it real, it’s kind of weird seeing you haul the JT to the trailheads. It almost feels like a manufactured off-roading trip. I am a long-time subscriber and will stay loyal to your channel no matter what you decide in the future.
I don’t really understand that point of view to be honest. How I get to the trail doesn’t make any difference to the adventure. I don’t usually even film anything on pavement. Keep in mind I do trips like this every week. It’s not sustainable to drive Gladiators into the ground every couple of years. I appreciate the feedback though.
You tha man SHAUN ! That location is pretty rad and thanks to you guys for bringing us along to these places that I and maybe some of the other subscribers never new existed.
Till the next one…..
You are an absolute madman and built different for that climb. holy shit!
BC is just absolutely stunning!!!
There is a trail in Colorado called Black bear pass the will change your mind about switchbacks for sure .
To be honest, I’m pretty sure we’ve done much sketchier roads than Black Bear Pass.
Super awesome video... seeing your setup in action with the tow-rig... and an amazing ride up one of the sketchiest roads I've ever seen. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks For The Ride !❤
The Cool spots you find are amazing. I can’t wait for you to head up the Stewart Cassiar highway area
Next summer probably.
Hey Sean, what antenna bracket do u use that allows u to mount your low profile antenna on the side of your hood? The only one I can’t find (bingfu) looks like the end of the wire doesn’t let u take off the thick end which makes it much harder to get through the firewall.
I want the soundtrack to this video. My God it combined with views is incredible
