Going to have a 1/2 a day doing what I love 💕 thrifting 🛍️
Lori’s going to meet up with me ,one of my subscribers/Now friend.
We had a small lunch  fries, and a root beer
Not that I don’t like gardening and cooking or cleaning. I just need to get away from it all.
I’ve been nonstop for three weeks so let’s go Thrifting and see if we find any treasures.

@@michellemaddon7952 Not afraid of chipmunks at all, Michelle. They're not aggressive to humans if you don't behave in a threatening manner towards them. However, I don't recommend hand-feeding them nuts, as some people do, because they can accidentally mistake your finger for a nut and give you a bite. If you DO give them nuts, please make sure they're unsalted. Salt is very bad for chipmunks and squirrels.

Our Goodwills have raised prices waaaayyy too much also. Can only buy color of the day for half price. You have such a good eye, Brooke. If you & your beautiful daughter ever want a fun tour of Scottsdale, Arizona - I have several guest rooms & would be happy to have you. Maybe during the winter so you d9n’t have to contend with 112 degree heat!🌵✌🏽😎🌇

For sure they are not cheap the reproductions go for $200 for three of them.
The old ones go for about 80 to about a $130 each 🥰
You could also wrap your scarf around in it instead of using candles. I love the bowl!!

A suggestion for the hearts... Buy red cord and attach the hearts every 12" or so and hang as bunting in a window in front of the curtains... That was the first thing I thought when I saw them...
Yes I thought garland too , it’s For my sister and she makes Willow work so she’s gonna make a bunch of stars and then make it Garland stars and hearts ⭐️ ❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️

Thaks for the trip, I needed that today after being couped up inside on this island (Drummond Island) from all that smoke. Today it's super nice out and I think I am heade to the nearest thrift shop! I love the bowl great find, great price!

That little copper pot with a handle is a Turkish coffee pot…. For 1 cup. I also thought it was for melting butter, when I worked in a kitchen store that is what the manager told us.. years later I married a Turk and found out it was for coffee lol. I have lots of them different sizes , every time I visit Istanbul I pick them up…. That coffee is strong so every afternoon I make us some. And boy it wakes us up… enjoy your day, looks sunny today. 🐰🌸🐇

We have Savers in the US. They are laid out identical to you Value Village. I once found an immaculate piece of Imari bone china on the wall at Savers. It was a little tiny footed vase maybe 5” tall to hold tinder I read for lighting old gas lanterns. Paid $4.99 and sold it for $85! 🥳. Having fun tagging along again.

We are getting heavy smoke from Canada it is way up in the 200 range which is very bad...I am in Indianapolis area...it has been bad for quite a while some days up high and other days not to bad....so I have been in the house for awhile...we are suppose to get rain hope that works and clears this out...I seen some silver trophys in fact 2 of them never see that here...I have been wanting one for a long time... I think it was around the time you were looking at the silver turkish coffee thing..

Good morning. A wee bit behind on watching your clips. Watched the tour of your apt. You do know how to tackle any project....lovely space for your abode.
Now....don't kniw what neighbourhood you live in but take it is the west end....question dirs your area have annual garden tours? I know the Beaches has one. Check it out and see if you can be included in next years tour. People would get so many ideas from you.
Think it's time some of Torinto's magazines and Blog do an article on you. Let's see what I can do about that....one never knows.

I’m sure they do them in the West End to nobody want to do a walking tour in my neighbourhood or garden tour. We’re under a major major construction all the water in the sewer. Most of our streets are even closed.🤷🏼♀️
@@mamabrooke Oh that's Toronto's new thing. Around here everything is blocked off or torn up. They are also renovating and putting in Elevators in both the Greenwood and Finland's Subway Stations. Still trying to figure out how they plan on having Taste of the Danforth. There is always next year....as your garden fills out.

Yes!!! they are lovely from the England these are really old ones they do have reproductions of them and even the reproductions are $200 for the three bowls. If you get the old ones they start about $80-$120 each . I’ve found all three from thrifting and paid about $25 for the 3 over the years took me a long time. 🥰

Is this the Bloor & Landsdowne VV? The prices are nuts! I stopped going a while ago because of the inflated prices, and I see it's getting worse. They don't even have 50% off days anymore.
The one on Rogers Road is high , I go when it’s 30% seniors day or when I get good coupons through the emails 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

I went to a goodwill today and was disappointed. Nothing but junk. Broken things, stained things, pieces missing. Why do they even put those kinds of things in the shelf? Fancy a half bottle of cheap old perfume??😊
