Hosted in part by the Chipmunks! lol. hey nice video and fun to watch. i was only here once with my late great friend Steve. The Voyage nearly did me in! got quite nauseous after riding it.
Really good video! It's amazing to see how much this park has grown since the 1st time I went there in 1990. A small 60 foot coaster & the raging rapids was about all they had outside of carnival rides.
Thank you for making this video I’m going to holiday world next Saturday and I had no idea what it’s like there but now that I’ve seen what it’s like I’m soooo exited 😆!!!
Water parks are a bit difficult because filming would involve pointing a camera at people that might take it the wrong way. But I can tell you that those are some of the best water slides we've ever encountered in all of our travels! Thanks for watching!
Great video! I’ve never been to this park and seeing it from this perspective is very helpful. I have 2 special needs children and every aspect has to be planned ahead of time. It doesn’t appear to be crowded. Can I ask what day you filmed this on?
It should be up and running. This video was shot during a scheduled maintenance closure. Normally this ride is reliable and we haven't heard of any issues from this coaster recently.
Our home park is KI and we've been trying to knock out all of the regional parks. Took our first visit to Holiday World this past September and it completely blew our minds. Such a nicely maintained, intimate park. Very small but packed full of character. I absolutely loved it and it gave KI a run for its money as our favorite regional park. I will warn anyone coming from KY or OH to visit this IN park, DO NOT DRINK ANY ALCOHOL! We are used to having a beer or two for lunch before heading back to the park at KI. When we did this at Holiday World, we were actually kicked off a coaster and banned for a year because the bloodhound ride op smelled alcohol on my buddy's breath. Our fault, we were unaware of the IN zero tolerance law. In spite of that, it's still one of, if not tied for, my favorite park. Beautiful little place!
Glad you enjoyed the park! It truly is a special place with tons of charm. Shocked to hear that you were treated that way though! We've been there many times and never encountered such a thing, or even heard of such!
@@gpcoasters7824 apparently it's a law in Indiana. 0 tolerance for alcohol consumption in amusement parks and/or on amusement rides. Hell if I knew, still our fault. They were cool about it though and I understand the rules are the rules. Can't complain, just cautioning anyone planning a trip there.

Hope you get to go back one day. Voyage is one of the greatest coasters I've ever been on.
I went yesterday and road the voyage and every other roller-coaster I thought I would die on voyage but no its actually really fun

Love the revolution I’d have to say the 3 best rides there are the thunder bird then the turkey ride and then the revolution
Revolution is quite intense!
@@gpcoasters7824 Yeah my mom thinks that too me my sibling and cousins quite enjoy it though

Thank you! It was filmed on Friday, June 4th. This park is well run by an awesome staff. I've never had a bad time there!
i am so excited to go to holiday world. my favorite ride is probably the mammoth and the thunderbird. what’s yours?
Ours is definitely Voyage.
Same
I really hope thunderbird will be open when I go in a week
