Add a room temperature egg and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly. 4. Sift the cake flour into the mixture and mix until combined. 5. Place dough onto a sheet of plastic wrap and wrap dough. Dude I just finished baking these and let me tell you, they are so good. They are not too sweet nor too bland so my mom who isn’t much of a sweet tooth really liked them. I didn’t have cake flour on hand so i just used regular flour and they turned out just fine. For me this recipe made about 40 small/medium size cookies. You should definitely try these. They are a bit time consuming but totally worth it. Thank you for the recipe! :)
I just finished making these and OMG THEY ARE AMAZING. My family devoured them in seconds. Things that I did differently that may help other people: - I used salted butter and just put a little less salt in the overall recipe, tastes amazing still - there's a comment below somewhere with all conversions to cups and spoons, even though there in the US (I'm in the UK) helped a lot - I did not measure the balls at the end ( 7g and 10g) i just used a tablespoon and half a tablespoon for the ratio they were absolutely amazing and as long as you get the proportions right then it'll be perfect
I tried this recipe....I think I did something wrong. The entire time I was prepping and baking...not a single adorable bear, kitty, OR bunny appeared on my countertop!?!?!
Finally tried one of her recipe since I had all the tools and ingredients. My experience: 1. Doesn’t really taste the Nutella but good flavor overall 2. My white dough was not as wet her hers (I used the same measurements as her) so when I tried to wrap the brownie dough it cracks. When baked it doesn’t have that roundness like hers. 3. Don’t let it get too browned when baking, even slightly browned will make it super crunchy when the cookies cooled down. Overall the taste reminds me of cookies I had in the bakery in Asia. The cookies do look pretty cool. Will definitely try her other recipes!

But, your recipe is so easy to make and the cookies looks so delicious! Last year, my Korean friend visited me in Malaysia and he brought me an oven as a gift..I think I will use it to make this nutella brownie cookies! 이 레시피 정말 감사합니다! 💕❤️💐❤️💕
@@um8650Yes, I do not have an oven before.. But, I got one now! I will use it to make this nutella brownie cookies ! This will be my very first time making cookies in my life ! Thanks to Cooking Tree for this recipe! ☺️❤️
I made them today!!! I'm not a pro so they don't look exactly the same but I would say super close! Tip for people who live in warm areas like me, don't take all the chocolate dough out because it will start melting as you try to cover it with the outside dough. And when trying to cover the chocolate dough, try to make the outside dough as thinnnn as you can, so completely covers the choco dough on the first try
I love it when they use grams instead of cups or spoons as measurement. I can get a scale, but a bunch of measuring cups or spoons is super annoying to use (and very imprecise)
I’m Canadian and when I started baking I used cups, then I got a scale and it was amazing!! Easy to use, precise, and less dishes. Never going back to cups again.
It took me three tries to get these right, but they finally came out perfectly and are amazing. When I didn't melt the chocolate right the second time, the brownies turned out too dry so I made nutella icing to salvage them and they were so good I put the icing in every batch now!
@@tencolorpen 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 cup nutella, 2 cups powdered sugar or confectioner's sugar. Cream or while milk can be added as necessary one tablespoon at a time to ensure mixture. This last step is not necessary though. Whisk/mix on high until it is light and fluffy.
i just made these! honestly i don't bake often so it took me like 3 hours total, and they didn't turn out as pretty (but still pretty). they were also a little dry (probably my fault), but dunked in milk, they're honestly the best cookies i've ever made!! my bf loves them too :)
@@MominaPatel hi! i saw an article that said how to make cake flour with plain flour. you can take one cup of plain flour, take 2 tablespoons out, and add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. that's what i did for the cake flour since i didn't have any and it worked fine :)
@@MominaPatel no problem! maybe i overmixed the dough or something, or maybe it's just the normal texture of the cookies. i expected soft cookies but they're kinda like crumbly butter cookies :) they're very good anyways and the recipe makes a lot of them!!
@André Barbosa @Kylie Nino’s home, he is amazing, the first I followed. His aesthetics are very satisfying as well. Please follow! (Btw, I am not him, just a loyal fan lol)
I first started watching this for the cookies, now I'm watching this for the sounds. The way this is done with silence and hearing all the food is just therapeutic
Amr hatem El-tantawy If I were trying it, I definitely would not be measuring and weighing the dough balls 😂 I don’t care if they look uniform (I guess a professional baker would though)
Aside from aesthetics, there is a practical and important part to weighing. In theory, if they’re consistent in shape, size and weight, they’ll cook evenly. Whereas if you had completely free formed them, you would get different textures due to the very dense fudgy center. I’m going to have to assume that’s also why the round indentation was made in the center while pressing the cookies down. Hope this was helpful.
I MADE THEM! !! My experience: I didn't use brown sugar or cake flour, and I didn't weigh every ball because I don't have a super precise scale. They also came very good, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. There I will give my boyfriend tomorrow for Valentine's day and I know he will love there. They are too good AAAA The only problem was the butter for the external pasta, although it was room temperature it did not melt well and so I used a hairdryer to melt it a little AHAH, I don't know if it is healthy but the dough then came perfect I'm not a chef but I found them really easy to make and it was fun to combine the dough, it took me a whole afternoon though (and sorry for the bad english, I'm italian)
i just made these and they taste great! my whole family loves them. i put in less sugar when i made them. when i took them out of the oven, they didn’t look as good as yours (obvs, you’re the baking queen) but they were still amazing, the cracks were just larger- i think i might have added to much baking powder because my scale isn’t that accurate. thank you for this delicious recipe, i love baking so this was really fun!
Well saw this yesterday, made the doughs, no Nutella used peanut butter, baked off today and though fiddly once you get your groove on easy to do. My tip chill the brownie balls and place vanilla ball onto parchment cover with a piece of cling wrap and use a glass or saucer to flatten evenly, its makes it way easier to wrap around the chilled brownie ball, I then used the same method with base of a saucer to flatten the cookie evenly as well. They are truly scrumptious ❤️ thanks for another great recipe.
I tried this recipe and can confirm that these cookies are amazing! My brother said they were the best cookies I've ever made! I followed the recipe exactly
I made these for work and everybody loved them! I received so many compliments. It did take me quite a while (i'm Also a very slow cooker), it took me the whole afternoon, especially to weigh the doughs and to roll them etc.. But it was so worth it and my cookies looked exactly the same!!
I made these at home and they're so so so good! I halved the amount of ingredients and in the end I got 20 cookies, so if you directly follow the amount ingredients given you'll probably end up with around 40. But they did take like 3 hours lol (it's so worth it though, and they're super pretty!).
You can use regular flour for this and it doesn’t matter how long you leave it in the fridge for, I left it in the fridge for about 3 hrs and it still turned out delicious and very soft
I tried this recipe a week ago❣️ My experience: I used cake flour instead of plain flour and I added some white chocolates in place of nutella. I made 41 cookies and a small cookie. I flattened these cookies that were about 0.7mm thickness. I baked it in the lower part of the oven. I gave them to my friends and everybody said it was delicious!😊 Why don't you try it, too? English is not my mother tongue so I apologize for my poor writing😰
I tried this yesterday and it was sooooo good. Perfect for dipping into milk! I halved the recipe and made 13 cookies. Had more nutella brownie dough than cookie dough though. Definitely would make this again :')
Thank you cooking tree for the recipee and I sooo appreciate the part where you should showed sevaral times how to wrap the choco dough in teh vanilla dough. That part was especially helpful for me, but as always your videos are incredible edited and I really appreciate them. I just finished baking these. Some notes: I followed the recipee to a T. As said in the video, for 1 cookie: 7g for vanilla dough and 10g chocolate dough but somehow for me the cookies came out thinner and smaller. If i wanted to have the same results as in the video, for my cookies to be thick like hers, I would have needed to almost double the amount of dough. Also they are not that sweet to taste, and this is coming from a person who doesn't like oversweet stuff. Like for me oreo's are way too sweet. And for chocolate I used Belgian Chocolate Callebaut 823. I coudln't aste a hint of nutella.
I did the recipe and made the cookies and they are gorgeous!!! Also instead of cake flour if you don't have it I put 2/3 of plain flour and then 1/3 of self raising flour and it worked the same!! Also I'm definetely making more in the future!! Loved this nice recipe!! And the good thing is most people would have more than half of the ingridients!! 10/10!!!
These took awhile to make, but they're super good! I wasn't sure what kind of dark chocolate to use, so I decided on the Toll House 53% Cacao dark chocolate morsels. This recipe made 39 cookies
The cookies you made look absolutely delicious. Thank you for sharing an easy cookie recipe. I appreciate it, and I will definitely try making cookies using your recipe in the future.
Just made them with the girls, they had so much fun. Somehow I had to made double mix on the white crust. Really good, crunchy outside and chewy inside, I baked them in the lower part of the oven, not so sweet. Just perfect!
Just made these today! I got lazy with the measurements so I just eye balled it and it still turned out pretty good. I should’ve flattened the white dough to be thinner so that the chocolate dough crackled through more but that’s ok. They look better than they taste; it’s a little plain but still good!
I don’t think I could even make these cookies....because I’d be eating every step of the way. Just the chocolate chips and melted butter looked divine 🤤🥴 🍫 🍪
made this, here's my notes - americans, make sure you have the CORRECT conversion to cups. i ended up reading the wrong thing on google and putting 2/3 of a cup of brown sugar in my mix... ended up doubling everything to fix the problem - after chilling the doughs, i just eyeballed the proportions; making the chocolate ball just barely bigger than the butter ball was about right - the butter dough is easier to work with when it's fresh out of the fridge, and the chocolate is easier warm - i had some chocolate dough left over, which i think was more bc my mom was helping me and she'd use WAY too much butter dough for hers. if this happens to you, just make the chocolate dough into discs and bake them just like the others, they turn out fine - since i doubled everything there was A Lot Of Dough. i ended up making ~60 cookies overall, spread over about a week - the dough keeps fine in the fridge, but the chocolate dough got more crumbly as time went on. i didn't add anything to it, just rolling it around in your hands a bit more brings it back and makes it soft again
OKAY I DID THIS AND.. IT WAS SO GOOD , SINCE YOU HAVE TWO DOUGH's that means u can also bake each alone! and i tried that it was so good i also did them all different from eachother and i did exaAAAACtly the same steps she did, I will always take recipe's for you they always work even if they seem impossible thanksssssssssssss SO MUCH for the recipe it was so good, and well i didn't add the nutella since i know it has a LOT of sugar so i added more flour ! but it still turned the same amazing!!
Tried making these : 1. Making the dough was easy to follow 2. Making the small balls took me like 45 -60 mins total T.T 3. I counted them, total white ball : 50-52 , black ball : 37-40 4. Now I'm just started baking it, seems like it will take awhile hopefully is worth it ^.^
Just made these delicious cookies and boy are they good! Be aware though, these do take up a lot of time. I started making the batter at 5 am and finished the whole process (excluding baking) at 10 am. So if you want to do this, be sure to take your time for it. Watch a good movie when your rolling the balls or listen to some of your favorite music because you'll be rolling balls for a while. Other than that the recipe is great! The cookies are super delicious and worth the time!
These cookies became our favourite the same day I made them! 😊 The taste is balanced and rich. The chocolate part really tastes like brownies, the texture is same. And it was lot of fun to cover black dough with the white)) Thanks a lot!❤

I didn’t have cake flour on hand so i just used regular flour and they turned out just fine. For me this recipe made about 40 small/medium size cookies. You should definitely try these. They are a bit time consuming but totally worth it. Thank you for the recipe! :)
Did you use plain flour?
@@Ayesha-pt5ms yes!
I just finished making these and OMG THEY ARE AMAZING. My family devoured them in seconds. Things that I did differently that may help other people:
- I used salted butter and just put a little less salt in the overall recipe, tastes amazing still
- there's a comment below somewhere with all conversions to cups and spoons, even though there in the US (I'm in the UK) helped a lot
- I did not measure the balls at the end ( 7g and 10g) i just used a tablespoon and half a tablespoon for the ratio
they were absolutely amazing and as long as you get the proportions right then it'll be perfect
I tried this recipe....I think I did something wrong. The entire time I was prepping and baking...not a single adorable bear, kitty, OR bunny appeared on my countertop!?!?!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
you need to draw an encircled upside down pentagram using your blood to summon them
The character on the countertop is a dog 🤣

Finally tried one of her recipe since I had all the tools and ingredients.
My experience:
1. Doesn’t really taste the Nutella but good flavor overall

A plate of those and a nice big cold glass of milk just sounds heavenly!
Brownies are the food that just fits this happy weekend🍪😌..... so sweet.....
I love it when they use grams instead of cups or spoons as measurement. I can get a scale, but a bunch of measuring cups or spoons is super annoying to use (and very imprecise)
I have a bunch of cups and measuring spoons...they're also super annoying to clean. Not great for baking but good for imprecise savory cooking though!
Literally only americans use cups and i never really understood them
and more dishes to wash
I’m Canadian and when I started baking I used cups, then I got a scale and it was amazing!! Easy to use, precise, and less dishes. Never going back to cups again.
It took me three tries to get these right, but they finally came out perfectly and are amazing.
When I didn't melt the chocolate right the second time, the brownies turned out too dry so I made nutella icing to salvage them and they were so good I put the icing in every batch now!
how do you make the icing ? is it just nutella or no ?
@@tencolorpen 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 cup nutella, 2 cups powdered sugar or confectioner's sugar. Cream or while milk can be added as necessary one tablespoon at a time to ensure mixture. This last step is not necessary though.
Whisk/mix on high until it is light and fluffy.
Made these yesterday and they turned out amazing! This recipe makes a much bigger batch than I expected. Made about 40 cookies.
i just made these! honestly i don't bake often so it took me like 3 hours total, and they didn't turn out as pretty (but still pretty). they were also a little dry (probably my fault), but dunked in milk, they're honestly the best cookies i've ever made!! my bf loves them too :)

I first started watching this for the cookies, now I'm watching this for the sounds. The way this is done with silence and hearing all the food is just therapeutic
I can’t believe how precisely you weigh the balls of batter and dough 😲
It kinda takes the fun of actually trying something new or having to make them for a slumber party with your friends
Amr hatem El-tantawy If I were trying it, I definitely would not be measuring and weighing the dough balls 😂 I don’t care if they look uniform (I guess a professional baker would though)
i think they do that because they r selling the biscuits?
Aside from aesthetics, there is a practical and important part to weighing.
In theory, if they’re consistent in shape, size and weight, they’ll cook evenly.
Whereas if you had completely free formed them, you would get different textures due to the very dense fudgy center. I’m going to have to assume that’s also why the round indentation was made in the center while pressing the cookies down.
Hope this was helpful.
I MADE THEM!
!!
My experience:
I didn't use brown sugar or cake flour, and I didn't weigh every ball because I don't have a super precise scale. They also came very good, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. There I will give my boyfriend tomorrow for Valentine's day and I know he will love there. They are too good AAAA
The only problem was the butter for the external pasta, although it was room temperature it did not melt well and so I used a hairdryer to melt it a little AHAH, I don't know if it is healthy but the dough then came perfect
I'm not a chef but I found them really easy to make and it was fun to combine the dough, it took me a whole afternoon though (and sorry for the bad english, I'm italian)
i just made these and they taste great! my whole family loves them. i put in less sugar when i made them. when i took them out of the oven, they didn’t look as good as yours (obvs, you’re the baking queen) but they were still amazing, the cracks were just larger- i think i might have added to much baking powder because my scale isn’t that accurate.
thank you for this delicious recipe, i love baking so this was really fun!
Awesome
I made these at home and they're so so so good! I halved the amount of ingredients and in the end I got 20 cookies, so if you directly follow the amount ingredients given you'll probably end up with around 40. But they did take like 3 hours lol (it's so worth it though, and they're super pretty!).
ARGalaxyGirl can you please give the exact measurements on the halved amount of ingredients? I’d really appreciate it but it’s fine if you don’t know!

You can use regular flour for this and it doesn’t matter how long you leave it in the fridge for, I left it in the fridge for about 3 hrs and it still turned out delicious and very soft

Just to be clear, i know that dogs and chocolate are a bad mix. its a joke. don't be so serious.
I made these and they were soooooo good. They were gone within less than an hour
I don’t think I could even make these cookies....because I’d be eating every step of the way. Just the chocolate chips and melted butter looked divine 🤤🥴 🍫 🍪
WHY IS THIS CHANNEL SO GODLY?!
made this, here's my notes
- americans, make sure you have the CORRECT conversion to cups. i ended up reading the wrong thing on google and putting 2/3 of a cup of brown sugar in my mix... ended up doubling everything to fix the problem
- after chilling the doughs, i just eyeballed the proportions; making the chocolate ball just barely bigger than the butter ball was about right
- the butter dough is easier to work with when it's fresh out of the fridge, and the chocolate is easier warm
- i had some chocolate dough left over, which i think was more bc my mom was helping me and she'd use WAY too much butter dough for hers. if this happens to you, just make the chocolate dough into discs and bake them just like the others, they turn out fine
- since i doubled everything there was A Lot Of Dough. i ended up making ~60 cookies overall, spread over about a week
- the dough keeps fine in the fridge, but the chocolate dough got more crumbly as time went on. i didn't add anything to it, just rolling it around in your hands a bit more brings it back and makes it soft again
와 지금 아무것도 안먹어서 배고픈데 이런영상 보니까 뭐좀 먹고 싶네요 잘만든신다! 저도 시간만 되면 만들어 먹고싶네요
