I could copy & paste a remark, though, every time I watch 'top speed' vids: they are an unreal promise of roads clear of small and big animals, nuts & bolts lying around or just plain pieces of wood...
A colleague of mine had a special treat: he ran into a wheel lying in the motorway (an accident of other two cars a few minutes before). At 170 km/h. AT NIGHT driving..
Yes, the man survived. His car did not, had to be scrapped.

Agreed. Most person fake their 0-100 or 100-200 times or they do it on a road which is slightly downhill etc.
Cant even trust people with simple figures nowadays...

214 gps speed. Its nice. 228 on speedo. My leon 1.5 tsi 150 do more but is ligther.
