This video is about the 2016 ever after high special, epic winter. Discussing why this movie is a complete disaster. and also reviewing the movie as a whole and my thoughts on it and boyyy do i have some thoughts. epic winter is just complete utter trash the main character sucks the storyline sucks everything about it is just a complete dumpster fire of garbage. Overall, I think that epic winter was released at the time mattel kinda gave up on ever after high. It is ever after high as last movie which is sad they ended on such a low note.

Yes thank you! I love what they did with Daring in this movie! He spent his whole life thinking he's gonna be a hero, but discovers that he is the one that needs saving as he is destined to be the Beast. I wish we got more him settling into this new role and his relationship with Rosabella.
Yes, I really loved watching his story line!
Faybelle’s the only thing that made Epic Winter worth wanting to continue to watch.
Not to mention she’s also the voice actor of the iconic ✨ Raquelle ✨ from Barbie Life In The Dreamhouse 😭

It’s confusing to me, I really enjoyed it but I can feel there is something that makes me not like it as much. It may be the lack of Royal Vs. Rebel and Child Vs. Parent like you said! And your right the outfits are everything; personally Faybelles just stopped my heart!
I should’ve talked about Faybelle also made it a lot better!!

With the blue skin thing, who knows?! The only theory I got is that both of Crystal’s parents are heterozygous, and they carry a blue skin gene with them as the recessive trait. Which makes Crystal homozygous recessive. *Sigh… Biology pays off…*

So many people don't like rosabella and daring but I really love them. I wish they were intadoicted sooner but I'm happy with what we have. Btw, yes the rosabell and daring plot line is the only reason why I like epic winter too lol
“Her voice is annoying”
Yeah but like…I don’t think the people who voice Crystal and that girl from Glee have much control over that. It’s just…their natural voice, they can’t exactly do a lot about that😭
I dislike Crystal so much. She didn't bother to do anything for herself, and didn't care for her mum after she was frozen to a statue. She says at eah "shes giving me the cold shoulder" girl what??? I personally love jackie and northwind lol, I was rooting so hard for them
It also felt like they were setting up for a blondie for a "going too far for a story" arc but they didn't so she was redundant in the plot

I am late to this train but I finished rewatching EAH so I had to find someone who was just as annoying as I was for this “final”
Ever after high’s epic winter was just generally unnecessary, I would have been able to sleep at night if there was like another special after this to wrap but the story but NAH, this was the kinda wrap up and that’s what keeps me up, the only good thing that came out of epic winter as you said, was daring charming (and Rosabella to extension) because it gave him some character development but that still could have been done in many other ways.
Another thing that bugs me is how irrelevant the OG main characters are (Raven & Apple) and yeah, I get they wouldn’t have any relevance in the story line or whatever but it still annoys me (as a massive raven and apple stan) and I’ll never get over it.
Also angry my girl Darling charming didn’t get anything as well but more of just a me problem then a problem with a show (also Darling x Apple solos and you can’t tell me otherwise)
Mattel more or less had a idea that ever after high wouldn’t last, it was obvious with the decline of quality in the doll line and sales or whatever. They had a idea that this would have been their last season, they had to have know and even if they didn’t they knew the royal vs rebel conflict was mostly resolved. They should have just wrapped up the story and Crystal winter should have never existed and the story would have been fine! Maybe for the last season head master grim could finally- idk, accept rebels or something?
I literally just finished rewatching this special and when the end credits played for the last season, I turned to my cat and said “Can you believe this is our final season? Raven and apple weren’t even in it”
The placement of Apple and Maddie in promotions for this movie always confused me. Like ik they met Crystal in a separate episode but they're barely in the movie and don't wear those outfits in the movie at all.
The only thing I really disliked about epic winter is the DaringxRosabella ship. Like Rosabella just popped out of nowhere and everything was moving too fast until they became each other’s happily ever after like what?! I shipped Daring and Lizzie more so maybe my opinion was kinda biased?
that is a totally valid point! it is kinda weird that they very suddenly fall for each other. especially when daring had that whole episode with lizzie

i was wondering how daring is going to serve for 200 years when he's an human. like what would happen to him when he dies before he pays off his debt ? also why didn't faybelle just use dark magic for cleaning the school ? cause headmaster grimm wasn't even watching her to make sure she didn't do that
I had no idea people didn’t like this part.
I myself was… confused at first, disappointed we weren’t seeing more of Raven and Apple. So I guess it makes sense
But after a while I actually enjoyed it a lot.
We focus on other characters in the school and that sends a message that even though Raven and Apple are at the forefront, there are still other people who have their own lives and adventures.
I enjoyed it a lot and would have enjoyed more parts focusing on the other characters.

To me it wasent that bad......but dragons game was 100 times better than this. This movie could have had potental if it had a good plot and protajinis. But from that love your content💓💕💓💕.

It's a boring version of Way to Wonderland, we don't have many developpement of the univers, we foccus on a character introduced this special and the sole other characters who do things are Rosabella, Daring and Faybelle
