I had no idea people didn’t like this part. I myself was… confused at first, disappointed we weren’t seeing more of Raven and Apple. So I guess it makes sense But after a while I actually enjoyed it a lot. We focus on other characters in the school and that sends a message that even though Raven and Apple are at the forefront, there are still other people who have their own lives and adventures. I enjoyed it a lot and would have enjoyed more parts focusing on the other characters.

I love it so much better than the Barbie 2023 movie

I dislike Crystal so much. She didn't bother to do anything for herself, and didn't care for her mum after she was frozen to a statue. She says at eah "shes giving me the cold shoulder" girl what??? I personally love jackie and northwind lol, I was rooting so hard for them It also felt like they were setting up for a blondie for a "going too far for a story" arc but they didn't so she was redundant in the plot

We never got to see Apple and Darling be a confirmed lesbian couple in this show Also I have an idea for a webisode: it’s called Triple Date where the premise is that the 3 Charming siblings (Daring, Dexter, and Darling) go on a triple date together with their 3 respective girlfriends (Apple, Raven, and Rosabella). Also I actually loved Epic Winter, but everyone’s different

It's a boring version of Way to Wonderland, we don't have many developpement of the univers, we foccus on a character introduced this special and the sole other characters who do things are Rosabella, Daring and Faybelle

Broooo closet was the BEST character so so underrated.

The placement of Apple and Maddie in promotions for this movie always confused me. Like ik they met Crystal in a separate episode but they're barely in the movie and don't wear those outfits in the movie at all.

It deserves a reboot like monster high

“Her voice is annoying” Yeah but like…I don’t think the people who voice Crystal and that girl from Glee have much control over that. It’s just…their natural voice, they can’t exactly do a lot about that😭

This was actually a web series on the Barbie website which I didn’t know until I watched a RUclips video about it. So yes there are multiple seasons but the Netflix version is actually just a bunch of different episodes put together. It’s also missing the last few seasons I think and is missing a character from the last seasons. The seasons are available on RUclips from different people. I love this show and can recite a lot of lines from it 😂

I rewatched Pocahontas... 3D can only dream of creating the same art of 2D animation. It's funny how everything looks better in 2D. Even paintings can look more beautiful than reality lol

I had the pleasure of checking this movie out a few years ago(I hadn't checked out a lot of the animated films from 2010s from Disney, outside Wreck-it-Ralph 1) and man what a great movie. It could easily go toe to toe with any of the renaissance films and puts a lot of the recent Disney films to shame. If I could sum up Tangled in one word it is: Efficient. If you noticed from the beginning, every line of dialogue, every plot beat does a seamless job of conveying relevant information without overstaying its welcome. We know why Gothel wants Rapunzel; for her magical hair to stay young, and through a wonderful song number we understand why Rapunzel wants what she wants. The same goes with Eugene as well. What the really good Disney films, especially the renaissance era, did well was explain character motivations through songs. They weren't just for individual listening, they informed us about character and what they want. Tangled very much did this. A neat little detail I like about the movie is that each and every time Gothel spoke to Rapunzel she'd always touch or cling to her hair whereas Eugene didn't really touch it, with him pushing the hair away during the end when injured/ dying. It's a neat detail. I also liked how the Corona Kingdom actually was fleshed out in this movie with the King and Queen and the townspeople actively searching for Rapunzel. It shows indirectly that the townspeople really like their rulers and are willing to help. Also, Gothel is a pretty solid villain. She isn't after anything grandiose but rather just using Rapunzel to live more and in a way you could almost believe that she cared. If I had one nitpick, it's how she was defeated. Not the way she fell but the whole aging rapidly after the hair is cut, I think the film would have benefitted with a bit more foreshadowing about that, maybe a moment where we see her starting to age, thus signaling to the viewer why she's really after Rapunzel as she's on a ticking time clock. Other than that, it's a great film that's as good as the Reinassance era movies.

Faybelle’s the only thing that made Epic Winter worth wanting to continue to watch. Not to mention she’s also the voice actor of the iconic ✨ Raquelle ✨ from Barbie Life In The Dreamhouse 😭

The thing is with ever after high, I was really disappointed when they quickly shifted away from the storybook aspect of it. It just seemed like they rushed to different plot lines to quickly, and I wish they’d spent more time on it.

Not me watching this and then watching the show

What made this show so hilarious is that they openly poked fun at all the Barbie Doll cliches, and openly acknowledged that they're dolls.

ever after high is 98% of my favorite cartoon but no no Disney 1000% lt's a nooooooooooo Disney ruined my childhood 😢😢

I am late to this train but I finished rewatching EAH so I had to find someone who was just as annoying as I was for this “final” Ever after high’s epic winter was just generally unnecessary, I would have been able to sleep at night if there was like another special after this to wrap but the story but NAH, this was the kinda wrap up and that’s what keeps me up, the only good thing that came out of epic winter as you said, was daring charming (and Rosabella to extension) because it gave him some character development but that still could have been done in many other ways. Another thing that bugs me is how irrelevant the OG main characters are (Raven & Apple) and yeah, I get they wouldn’t have any relevance in the story line or whatever but it still annoys me (as a massive raven and apple stan) and I’ll never get over it. Also angry my girl Darling charming didn’t get anything as well but more of just a me problem then a problem with a show (also Darling x Apple solos and you can’t tell me otherwise) Mattel more or less had a idea that ever after high wouldn’t last, it was obvious with the decline of quality in the doll line and sales or whatever. They had a idea that this would have been their last season, they had to have know and even if they didn’t they knew the royal vs rebel conflict was mostly resolved. They should have just wrapped up the story and Crystal winter should have never existed and the story would have been fine! Maybe for the last season head master grim could finally- idk, accept rebels or something? I literally just finished rewatching this special and when the end credits played for the last season, I turned to my cat and said “Can you believe this is our final season? Raven and apple weren’t even in it”

i was wondering how daring is going to serve for 200 years when he's an human. like what would happen to him when he dies before he pays off his debt ? also why didn't faybelle just use dark magic for cleaning the school ? cause headmaster grimm wasn't even watching her to make sure she didn't do that

Unpopular opinion: Barbie is great in this because they play off the fact she is a Mary Sue. She’s perfect in every way and I adore it. Barbie isn’t infuriating or annoying as a character because of it.

I agree the princess and the frog movie is underrated let’s be honest we know that it is not the worst Disney Princess movie but you can tell that people look up to them and even though by box office success it made the least amount of money comparing to the rest of the other Disney Princess and how some of them made double if not triple the amount of money compared to Princess and the frog with obviously frozen at the top if its game then going Sleeping beauty moana,Tangled,Cinderella,Brave, Aladdin,Beauty and the Beast,Snow white and the seven dwarfs,Pocahontas,Mulan,The little Mermaid and finally the Princess and the frog you can see why it is underrated compared to the other Disney Princess movies it just did not make a lot of money compared to the other ladies
