Lizzie and Daring make more sense in the books, Daring has like the biggest crush on Lizzie but she only sees him as a self absorbed dork but then she learns to trust him and they are like really cute, they even have a date.
Daring and Lizzie was pretty big in the books and I would say my like of the ship comes almost exclusively from that. Also I am 100% positive Apple was gay.

About the ship of Briar and Hopper, in the Sleeping Beauty fairytale the princess wakes up by a kiss from the prince right? And in The Frog Prince the frog can turn to his original prince form by the kiss of the princess. Kissing is in both of their stories, writers could have made something with this information. But just like other ships in EAH, this ship is underdeveloped.
Ayo double fairytales would cause more ✨spice✨ For example, what if there was already a predetermined cast for The Frog Prince, but in having Briar and Hopper kind of fit the bill, what’s to do? Does the main cast still go on? Is destiny muddled now? How are they gonna deal with a double tale?
What I always loved about Ashley and Hunter, besides being star-crossed lovers lmao, was how supportive he was with her hobbies. She’s your stereotypical girly girl (still a “strong” female character. Yet another thing I adore about this show) but he would do anything to keep her happy regarding her hobbies and interests.
I don't know if it's a bit obscure but I ship Maddie and Kitty because 1 Wonderlandians = childhood besties 2. Whenever Kitty is being mischievous, Maddie is always giggling = thick as thieves 3. I feel like they truly care about each other 5. *K I T T Y ' S C U R I O U S T A L E !*
Honestly for me the reason why darabella didn't make me feel things is because it feels very one sided in terms of the whole bringing out the best in each other thing that's in most daring ships. For Darise Daring he brought out the confidence in Cerise and she kinda brings him down to earth and challenges his world view on the whole saving damsel thing For Dizzie We saw a side of Daring where he's willing to put himself in humuliating position for Lizzie and she also learns to soften up But with Rosabella she's already pretty well adjusted so like there's no character development on her side and it's all daring. Basically their whole thing is Rosabella redeeming Daring with her love but THAT'S IT. Also they watered down much of Daring more positive traits like his emotional inteligence which I found very annoying.
Hi I agree with you. I honestly ship all three ships. I really honestly can’t pick one, each of them have different qualities that I appreciate. I have read so many EAH fanfictions with Daring and Cerise, Daring and Lizzie and Daring and Rosabella. I read one of Daring and Rosabella fanfiction where the author gave not only Daring character development but also Rosabella.Rosabella is one of my EAH characters and I agree she really deserved more character development.

From what I heard, Disney and Mattel had some conflict because Mattel was originally charged with the production of their Disney princess line of dolls, and the creation of Ever After High sparked some conflict between the two.
Yes Mattel was sleeping on the Disney Princess brand and only putting out cheap and basic dolls. Disney was livid Mattel would make their own princess line that would compete with Disney Princess sales, and putting more effort into it. Mattel only just got the Disney Princess rights back so they definitely won't reboot EAH just to piss off Disney all over again

I feel like the problem with Rosabella is that they wanted us to care about her but didn’t give us enough time to get to know her. She barely had any major appearances (to my knowledge) before Epic Winter, so it feels kind of sudden to set her up with Daring who already had three potential love interests who had already gotten more development. Also having read the books I quite like the relationship that Humphrey and Meeshell have, Sparrow and Poppy is also pretty cool
sparrow and poppy (and maybe even holly since he has a crush on her) actually make a lot of sense in terms of the Tangled movie/version of the story. both have the guy being a “rebel” and the girl being a “royal” who is slightly rebellious
I think that the one ship almost everyone in this fandom can get behind is Dexter and Raven- almost on the level of Cleo and Deuce. They set my standards sooo high as a child and led to my book boyfriend obsession. REVIVAL OF THE EAH FANDOM!
9:11 so badly did I want Apple and Darling only because to me, the idea of Apple realizing Daring may not be her prince charming after all and having to relearn things she thought she once knew is so amusing. As a child I was never fond of Apple because she was so stuck on "her destiny", so I hoped this relationship would make her realize not everything is as black and white as she thought.
I honestly hope that if eah ever comes back the writers will actually do something abt Briar and Hopper like I've been rewatching the show and realize that they keep appearing next to eachother in the background. It's like the franchise is saying "Hey look at this couple that's been around since the beginning that we've made some progress on but not enough to make them memorable". GOD if only they realize the potential this couple has, like they have the ability to break two curses with one kiss and therefore rebel in probably the most royal way possible.
Daring and Lizzie were one of the first ships I ever actively shipped. They are just so cute in the books, Lizzie being the only girl who isn't chasing after Daring, and that being what draws him to her. It's just perfect. When I watched Epic Winter, I got so mad at Daring kissing Rosabella, that I actually yelled and my mom rushed into the room cause she thought I was hurt or something.
I kinda like using that trope where's there's a guy that can get any girl they want, but they start having feelings for the ones that they can't get, and most of the time winning them over.
Idk if they wanted to have gay characters from the start and got erased by marketing or if they came up with Darling/Apple later in a moment of epiphany. Either way, it was perfect. Also, Cupid makes me very sad and I just want her to be happy because I know how she feels.
I mean one of the writers said every show she’s ever worked on was gay. Sometimes people know from the jump even if it doesn’t seem that way, like in Andi Mack, it might seem like TJ being gay and ending up with Cyrus was a twist the writers came up with on the fly but Luke Mullen, the actor that played TJ, said that when he was going to play TJ the main writer and creator of the show told him his character was gonna be gay and he couldn’t say anything about it yet. So maybe not from episode 1, but I can see it from Darling’s intro being the plan

I personally head canon darling as a trans man ( a biological female transitioning to male): 1. Her colors match the trans flag 2. She's clearly someone who wants to live life on her own terms, she's a rebel she doesn't play by the rules. (not saying being a rebel automatically makes you queer, and I know that she has long hair so maybe she isn't trans but it's just a theory) 3. She's heroic (in the fairytales it was mostly the men who were heroes. not saying women can't be heroes of course they fucking can! but again it's part of my theory) and notice how she didn't reveal her identity as a hero until Way too Wonderland. could that be similar to "coming out?" Proof apple is gay: 1. The term "fruity" implies you are queer 2. Ever notice how much Amity Blight and Apple have in common? 3. Her colors match the lesbian flag 4. Her storybook status in her diary says she isn't interested in dating daring. whenever someone asks her that questions she denies any romantic relationship with him. in my head she didn't really "love" him but the idea of him, and what her brings her 5. I mean..it can't be a coincidence that both characters conveniently posses traits that could imply their queerness? this whole time we thought daring was her destined lover but he isn't that's proof things aren't always what they seem.

I really love Apple and Darling cause their kiss/CPR thing happened when i was really insecure about my own sexuality. I feel like they could have done so much with it if it wasn't cancelled soon after. Also fun fact but the creator actually mentioned on twitter that it was romantic. The reason we like Rosabella x Daring is because Rosabella is about the “true beauty within yourself” kinda mindset and daring mostly cares about his looks. It’s a good balence for daring’s ego and it shows him how to love himself even in beast form. Because everyone thought Daring was meant for Apple, it’s kind of a comfortable plot twist to have Daring end up with another princess and Apple end up with a different charming. It fits their characters so well. 😊😊😊

Darling and Apple was actually cannon. The writers have gone on record saying that that kiss was absolutely gay and they were meant to get together later on. Unfortunately the show got cancelled before we could get some real representation.

I think the most uncommon ships I had were: Brooke Page x Maddie Hatter (I really liked how Brooke seemed to care for the fairytale world, esp Maddie, and kinda just took that to romance, though it admittedly would be weird if they broke up and now you have to live with your ex narrating your life forever), Lizzie Hearts x Courtly Jester (for this one I mainly liked the drama of it - people finding out that the same jester that tried to rule wonderland and steal Lizzie’s destiny now being able to co-rule the kingdom she tried to take over, how the queen of hearts would react, Lizzie herself likely being conflicted, it was more about the drama and enemies to lovers trope than the chemistry that they were shown to have, but I could still see it tbh) And also Kitty x Cerise OR, imo better yet, Ramona Badwolf. I like the sort of cat and dog contrast, and while I could see an enemies to lovers thing with Kitty and Cerise (I LIKE THE TROPE OKAY), given how Kitty knows her secret and was taunting her with it in that one webisode, I think Ramona would work MUCH better because of how they’re both sort of troublemakers, it would give Ramona and Kitty (who probably doesn’t need it AS MUCH but still) more screen time and depth, and there could be a lot of drama given the terms that Kitty and Cerise are on, and that Cerise couldn’t make it TOO obvious since nobody else should know they’re sisters, maybe she’d bring it up to her parents only to find that they’re supportive, and how would Kitty’s mom feel? Would she be happy, because of the chaos? Would she disapprove because Ramona is a BadWOLF? For another reason altogether? I did also ship Holly and Darling but with the dragon games taken into consideration I’m much more into whatever the Apple x Darling ship name is and I don’t think that one is as uncommon as the others

I read the books and they do talk about raven and dexter sometimes like they hint it around and I love it because they get but awkward when they meet but longer they hangout more closer they become and see each other point of view of like the whole rebel and royal thing

If I'm being completely honest I think Raven and Apple would have made more sense if they'd gone down that route. It would have added another interesting layer to their dynamic and made their decisions all the more weighted and complex. (I forget what it’s called it’s been a while) but anyways so there’s one from Dexters POV and he laments not knowing what his story will be but secretly hopes it will be the Good King that marries the Evil Queen tHAT MAN WAS IN LOVE WITH HER FROM THE BEGINNING IM SCREAMING AND CRYING AND VOMITING I LOVE THEMMMM
1- I do love Daring and Rosabella. I like those sweet, makes-sense cliché. 2- I STILL have the idea that for Raven not assuming the Evil Queen role the story could still happen but with the characters kinda randomized. I have this plot in my head about Apple turning into the villain and Raven being the new Snow White - her description fits better with the original one - and yada yada yada. Like an Oedipus kinda story. By running away from your destiny you only run towards it. Darling could be the "hunter" or "knight" in service for Apple that ends up saving Raven and Dexter obviously being the prince
also the success of monster high literally does impact the success of ever after high. the whole reason ever after high ended is because monster high ended, monster high is like the big sister.
Duchess is actually a Royal who does not like her destiny so is trying to get another royal's happily ever after. I remember it being said in one of the books that she is keeping strong in her destiny to preserve her family's honour. They didn't really show her stance on her destiny after Way Too Wonderland (when the Story Book of Legends was destroyed so she was no longer bound to that destiny in any way),

About Apple and Darling: I've got strong feelings about this one I believe that in the evh universe gays weren't a thing among the royals because monarqui and stuff, but they were definetly a regular thing among rebels, nothing condemed or out of place. So a lot happend once Apple and Darling fell for eachother (because they do, did and will). Darling always felt like a misfit among royals since the is a knith instead of your regular princess in distress, so coming into terms about the fact that she was into girls was kinda no big of a deal. But Apple was a whole other story. How come Snow White's daugther have more feelings towards "her" prince's sister than towards the actual prince? And that is something they both knew and fell since they knew eachother form a young age, but they both brushed it aside since Apple couldn't tolarate not following her destiny and Darling always felt that her crush was one sided. So was Apple not only strugiling to believe that her pince didn't woke her up, but the girl she has always liked did. This made her finally admit her feelings and create the courage to talk to Darling and get together and FINALLY live happily ever after... Except that after her graduation the royals would despise her because of their prejudice so she would became a human rigths activist, figthing for love and justice because even tougth she has evil within her, she would became a better person with Darling the knigth and protector of good tm by her side. So at the end of it all, she would most likely became queen regarless and would focus all her strengh on bringing peace and love for her kingdom. And the Queen and Capitan of the Royal Guard would live happily ever after. Bonus: The first time Darling goes to the school as a regular student, Apple runs to her and give her the biggest of hugs and brigthest of smiles and since Raven is a rebel so she knows that is okay to say gay she automatcly starts shipping the two and even confronts Apple about her feeling towards Darling and Daring, which leaves Apple as red as a... well, apple, but you got it! Anyways, that was my TedTalk and sorry for my english, I'm not a native speaker.

Idk ab raven and apple bc they’re kind of inadvertently related if you thinkkkk about it but oh my god they could’ve GONE somewhere with darling and apple! It could’ve been amazing!! I like you headcanon, but I always imagined that when apple became close with the charmings, she was still close with dating (believing that they’d be together), but also developed a bond with Darling that, despite being much deeper, was disregarded as friendship by both of them. I think darling kissed apple in dragon games more because daring’s attempts weren’t working, and that AFTER both would have to explore romantic territory and bfhshs yeah lmao

I’m not really an apple x darling shipper for two main reason. 1. I love darling and chase. 2. I love the idea of the kiss being true love in friendship cause I do believe that you can Truely love someone and spend your life with them even as just friends! Like yes, it is cute but it's so unexpected and kinda came out of nowhere, but i do believe if the series were continued it would focus on Darling and Apple's relationship from there, it would be intresting to see the conflict between those 2 that would make the ship actually adorable and cannonly nice ^^

Oh my goodness, I'm so glad this video was recommended to me. I completely forgot about Ever After High (used to rewatch a ton of the videos and listen to the theme song over and over and over again). I absolutely adore Raven and Dexter's adorable dynamic and how awkward they are, and Cerise and Daring is also too cute and could've gone somewhere. And of course, Briar and Hopper is my other favorite. I think I also liked Cerise and Hunter. Time to rewatch some Ever After High episodes, with the first one being "Date Night"!! ;D
UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT, but it will be worth reading; I really have a different view of Darling. I've read the books and watched the whole series. Darling and Apple's CPR is adorable but has another meaning to me. Two, in fact. On the one hand the two times Apple is rescued from her undefined slumber (first by Briar when she pokes herself with the spinning wheel looking for the book of legends. A very cute idea for Briar to have to face her worst fear, seeing that in her best friend) and the second time, by Darling. It's really a subtle way of giving us to understand that Apple will have her happily ever after with a girl, because it's a girl who rescues her both times. On the one hand to me that's what Darling's CPR reaffirms, on the other hand, Darling wants to be something more like a knight than a prince. We know that in her tale. She never expects to rescue a princess and then be just a figurehead in the story, she expects more; adventure, heroism, but with the difference that rescuing damsels is not centrally what she wants. Darling is different from all the Charmings. That's why she's perfect to be the white knight of Wonderland. She doesn't have the heart of a prince, she has the heart of a knight. When Darling sees all is lost and performs CPR on Apple she is just trying to save his life in a heroic gesture. She saves a princess, but more in a way a knight would than a prince. That's where the magic comes in, Darling "earns" the position of Apple's prince, why? because the prince in the story would be the one to save Apple and she did. But, but, the big but, that doesn't make Darling a prince at heart nor does it mean there is a love between Apple and Darling, she just fulfilled the story script and pure intent almost accidentally; anyone who would have performed CPR on Apple at that moment would have been able to wake her up and open fate as her prince, because she would have earned it. In the end this does not bind Apple and Darling romantically. Because it must be admitted for this point that if you saw the series and especially if you have read the books where Apple has an extremely close relationship with Raven, really, very close in the books particularly, where they talk better about how it looks was their friendship and their attachment, it is more real a RavenxApple than a DarlingxRaven. The series will quite possibly never point that way. But regardless of that, if we think deeply about the characters that's how I feel about Darling. I think yes happiness isn't necessarily next to a princess romantically, to me she can be Apple's knight and that would be great she even owes her life to him, but in romance Darling's happiness doesn't have to follow that pattern. I think Darling is different and follows her own path, that's it, cheers :3
I have the same view on darling. the only difference is about apple x darling. It is precisely because Darling did the heroic act to save Apple that she was destined to be his true love. however I don't think Darling would accept being the apple's "prince" precisely because her having this role has nothing to do with going on an adventure and being heroic. and it would be interesting to see a character development based on that with darling having feelings for apple but not wanting to give up being the white knight as that's what makes her happy. for in the end she decides to be the true love of apple and the white knight learning to balance her heart and her ambitions. and it's also because of this vision that I really like darling and chese as BROmance. It's the classic dynamic of an experienced character that follows the rule with a character with talent that doesn't care about traditions. and the two develop a mutual respect as siblings-in-arms, with Chase supporting Darling as a White Knight and teaching her his ways and Darling teaching Chase to be less obsessed with rules and to open up more.
As someone who is a huge fan of the "unknown but wholesome" ship of Ginger Breadhouse × Hopper Croakington, it really breaks my heart to see that they are not even listed in the tier list. They may have their best interactions in just one of the books (the "spin-off" book Kiss and Spell), but it is so adorable that I just want to see them together!
Daring sort of cheated on Lizzie, it's in Kitty Cheshire's diary for her doll; she found Daring talking with Duchess I think, and she told Lizzie, and then Lizzie got upset at Kitty, but they made up and Lizzie and Daring broke up. I can't remember the entire thing, but I remember I was really upset about it lol. edit: Yup, its in Kitty Cheshire's diary, just look it up, its really sad. :(
Honestly, it seems like the Daring ships are like "the wild child girl friend" "the bad boss girl friend" then eventually he realized what he really wanted was someone he could settle down with and found "the caring kind wife material"
Rosabella is incredibly sweet, I just wish that we had more time to like know her and care about her? Like even if she showed up consistently in the background throughout the series and we slowly got more plot lines including her, it would’ve been great because it felt a little sudden to me as a kid because I didn’t watch all the webisodes (like i watched a lot, but usually out of order and i forgot most of them because i was younger), so her ending up with Daring felt a bit like a cop out like if Daring just HAD to be with someone in every arc😭😭😭 that being said, much like Amanda I think Cerise and Daring was perfect
I remember there was EAH books called once upon a twist, where some characters were in the fairytales of others characters. And Daring and Cerise was in the tale of beauty and the beast.
I personally DO ship Rosabella and Daring but I think that's because I do like Rosabella's character and I do support their dynamic. I'm not gonna roast anyone or write an entire essay as to why they should be together because it's okay to have different opinions. Just putting it out there for people that do want to disagree to disagree.

Rosabella with Daring is one of my fav ships. Their kiss scene made me a happy and I watched that many times. Also she kinda looks like me (brown hair, glasses) but she isn't as ugly as me. So her being with the handsome and popular guy made me so happy the first time I saw them together.
I completely agree with Apple and darling, I kinda took it and looked through the show with that light…like how Apple never wanted to make the relationship with daring official, because “they always have forever after”…but what if it’s really because she isn’t quite comfortable in the relationship because she has conflicted feelings about liking girls, but she put on an act about being happy because she is supposed to be a “perfect princess” and she doesn’t want to disappoint the people around them with her those internal conflict

About the ship of Briar and Hopper, in the Sleeping Beauty fairytale the princess wakes up by a kiss from the prince right? And in The Frog Prince the frog can turn to his original prince form by the kiss of the princess. Kissing is in both of their stories, writers could have made something with this information. But just like other ships in EAH, this ship is underdeveloped.

What I always loved about Ashley and Hunter, besides being star-crossed lovers lmao, was how supportive he was with her hobbies. Honestly for me the reason why darabella didn't make me feel things is because it feels very one sided in terms of the whole bringing out the best in each other thing that's in most daring ships.
For Darise Daring he brought out the confidence in Cerise and she kinda brings him down to earth and challenges his world view on the whole saving damsel thing
For Dizzie We saw a side of Daring where he's willing to put himself in humuliating position for Lizzie and she also learns to soften up
But with Rosabella she's already pretty well adjusted so like there's no character development on her side and it's all daring. Basically their whole thing is Rosabella redeeming Daring with her love but THAT'S IT. Also they watered down much of Daring more positive traits like his emotional inteligence which I found very annoying.
Hi I agree with you. I honestly ship all three ships. I really honestly can’t pick one, each of them have different qualities that I appreciate. I have read so many EAH fanfictions with Daring and Cerise, Daring and Lizzie and Daring and Rosabella. I read one of Daring and Rosabella fanfiction where the author gave not only Daring character development but also Rosabella.Rosabella is one of my EAH characters and I agree she really deserved more character development.

From what I heard, Disney and Mattel had some conflict because Mattel was originally charged with the production of their Disney princess line of dolls, and the creation of Ever After High sparked some conflict between the two.
Yes Mattel was sleeping on the Disney Princess brand and only putting out cheap and basic dolls. Disney was livid Mattel would make their own princess line that would compete with Disney Princess sales, and putting more effort into it. Mattel only just got the Disney Princess rights back so they definitely won't reboot EAH just to piss off Disney all over again

I feel like the problem with Rosabella is that they wanted us to care about her but didn’t give us enough time to get to know her. She barely had any major appearances (to my knowledge) before Epic Winter, so it feels kind of sudden to set her up with Daring who already had three potential love interests who had already gotten more development.
Also having read the books I quite like the relationship that Humphrey and Meeshell have, Sparrow and Poppy is also pretty cool
sparrow and poppy (and maybe even holly since he has a crush on her) actually make a lot of sense in terms of the Tangled movie/version of the story. both have the guy being a “rebel” and the girl being a “royal” who is slightly rebellious
I think that the one ship almost everyone in this fandom can get behind is Dexter and Raven- almost on the level of Cleo and Deuce. They set my standards sooo high as a child and led to my book boyfriend obsession. REVIVAL OF THE EAH FANDOM!

so badly did I want Apple and Darling only because to me, the idea of Apple realizing Daring may not be her prince charming after all and having to relearn things she thought she once knew is so amusing.

I honestly hope that if eah ever comes back the writers will actually do something abt Briar and Hopper like I've been rewatching the show and realize that they keep appearing next to eachother in the background. It's like the franchise is saying "Hey look at this couple that's been around since the beginning that we've made some progress on but not enough to make them memorable". GOD if only they realize the potential this couple has, like they have the ability to break two curses with one kiss and therefore rebel in probably the most royal way possible.

Daring and Lizzie were one of the first ships I ever actively shipped. They are just so cute in the books, Lizzie being the only girl who isn't chasing after Daring, and that being what draws him to her. It's just perfect. When I watched Epic Winter, I got so mad at Daring kissing Rosabella, that I actually yelled and my mom rushed into the room cause she thought I was hurt or something.

I mean one of the writers said every show she’s ever worked on was gay. Sometimes people know from the jump even if it doesn’t seem that way, like in Andi Mack, it might seem like TJ being gay and ending up with Cyrus was a twist the writers came up with on the fly but Luke Mullen, the actor that played TJ, said that when he was going to play TJ the main writer and creator of the show told him his character was gonna be gay and he couldn’t say anything about it yet. So maybe not from episode 1, but I can see it from Darling’s intro being the plan

I personally head canon darling as a trans man ( a biological female transitioning to male):
1. Her colors match the trans flag
2. She's clearly someone who wants to live life on her own terms, she's a rebel she doesn't play by the rules. (not saying being a rebel automatically makes you queer, and I know that she has long hair so maybe she isn't trans but it's just a theory)

The reason we like Rosabella x Daring is because Rosabella is about the “true beauty within yourself” kinda mindset and daring mostly cares about his looks. It’s a good balence for daring’s ego and it shows him how to love himself even in beast form. Because everyone thought Daring was meant for Apple, it’s kind of a comfortable plot twist to have Daring end up with another princess and Apple end up with a different charming. It fits their characters so well. 😊😊😊

Brooke Page x Maddie Hatter (I really liked how Brooke seemed to care for the fairytale world, esp Maddie, and kinda just took that to romance, though it admittedly would be weird if they broke up and now you have to live with your ex narrating your life forever),
Lizzie Hearts x Courtly Jester (for this one I mainly liked the drama of it - people finding out that the same jester that tried to rule wonderland and steal Lizzie’s destiny now being able to co-rule the kingdom she tried to take over, how the queen of hearts would react, Lizzie herself likely being conflicted, it was more about the drama and enemies to lovers trope than the chemistry that they were shown to have, but I could still see it tbh)
And also Kitty x Cerise OR, imo better yet, Ramona Badwolf. I like the sort of cat and dog contrast, and while I could see an enemies to lovers thing with Kitty and Cerise (I LIKE THE TROPE OKAY), given how Kitty knows her secret and was taunting her with it in that one webisode, I think Ramona would work MUCH better because of how they’re both sort of troublemakers, it would give Ramona and Kitty (who probably doesn’t need it AS MUCH but still) more screen time and depth, and there could be a lot of drama given the terms that Kitty and Cerise are on, and that Cerise couldn’t make it TOO obvious since nobody else should know they’re sisters, maybe she’d bring it up to her parents only to find that they’re supportive, and how would Kitty’s mom feel? Would she be happy, because of the chaos? Would she disapprove because Ramona is a BadWOLF? For another reason altogether?
I did also ship Holly and Darling but with the dragon games taken into consideration I’m much more into whatever the Apple x Darling ship name is and I don’t think that one is as uncommon as the others

If I'm being completely honest I think Raven and Apple would have made more sense if they'd gone down that route. It would have added another interesting layer to their dynamic and made their decisions all the more weighted and complex. I'm still okay with Apple x Darling but Raven x Apple could've brought the plot to a whole new level and I see them as being the perfect yin and yang.

2- I STILL have the idea that for Raven not assuming the Evil Queen role the story could still happen but with the characters kinda randomized. I have this plot in my head about Apple turning into the villain and Raven being the new Snow White - her description fits better with the original one - and yada yada yada. Like an Oedipus kinda story. By running away from your destiny you only run towards it. Darling could be the "hunter" or "knight" in service for Apple that ends up saving Raven and Dexter obviously being the prince
also the success of monster high literally does impact the success of ever after high. the whole reason ever after high ended is because monster high ended, monster high is like the big sister.
Maybe, now that Monster High is coming back, if it's successful, EAH will too.
Duchess is actually a Royal who does not like her destiny so is trying to get another royal's happily ever after. I remember it being said in one of the books that she is keeping strong in her destiny to preserve her family's honour. They didn't really show her stance on her destiny after Way Too Wonderland (when the Story Book of Legends was destroyed so she was no longer bound to that destiny in any way),

About Apple and Darling: I've got strong feelings about this one
I believe that in the evh universe gays weren't a thing among the royals because monarqui and stuff, but they were definetly a regular thing among rebels, nothing condemed or out of place. So a lot happend once Apple and Darling fell for eachother (because they do, did and will).
Darling always felt like a misfit among royals since the is a knith instead of your regular princess in distress, so coming into terms about the fact that she was into girls was kinda no big of a deal. But Apple was a whole other story. How come Snow White's daugther have more feelings towards "her" prince's sister than towards the actual prince? And that is something they both knew and fell since they knew eachother form a young age, but they both brushed it aside since Apple couldn't tolarate not following her destiny and Darling always felt that her crush was one sided.
So was Apple not only strugiling to believe that her pince didn't woke her up, but the girl she has always liked did. This made her finally admit her feelings and create the courage to talk to Darling and get together and FINALLY live happily ever after... Except that after her graduation the royals would despise her because of their prejudice so she would became a human rigths activist, figthing for love and justice because even tougth she has evil within her, she would became a better person with Darling the knigth and protector of good tm by her side.
So at the end of it all, she would most likely became queen regarless and would focus all her strengh on bringing peace and love for her kingdom. And the Queen and Capitan of the Royal Guard would live happily ever after.
Bonus: The first time Darling goes to the school as a regular student, Apple runs to her and give her the biggest of hugs and brigthest of smiles and since Raven is a rebel so she knows that is okay to say gay she automatcly starts shipping the two and even confronts Apple about her feeling towards Darling and Daring, which leaves Apple as red as a... well, apple, but you got it!

I completely forgot about Ever After High (used to rewatch a ton of the videos and listen to the theme song over and over and over again). I absolutely adore Raven and Dexter's adorable dynamic and how awkward they are, and Cerise and Daring is also too cute and could've gone somewhere. And of course, Briar and Hopper is my other favorite. I think I also liked Cerise and Hunter.

UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT, but it will be worth reading; I really have a different view of Darling. I've read the books and watched the whole series. Darling and Apple's CPR is adorable but has another meaning to me. Two, in fact. On the one hand the two times Apple is rescued from her undefined slumber (first by Briar when she pokes herself with the spinning wheel looking for the book of legends. A very cute idea for Briar to have to face her worst fear, seeing that in her best friend) and the second time, by Darling. It's really a subtle way of giving us to understand that Apple will have her happily ever after with a girl, because it's a girl who rescues her both times. On the one hand to me that's what Darling's CPR reaffirms, on the other hand, Darling wants to be something more like a knight than a prince. We know that in her tale. She never expects to rescue a princess and then be just a figurehead in the story, she expects more; adventure, heroism, but with the difference that rescuing damsels is not centrally what she wants. Darling is different from all the Charmings. That's why she's perfect to be the white knight of Wonderland. She doesn't have the heart of a prince, she has the heart of a knight. When Darling sees all is lost and performs CPR on Apple she is just trying to save his life in a heroic gesture. She saves a princess, but more in a way a knight would than a prince. That's where the magic comes in, Darling "earns" the position of Apple's prince, why? because the prince in the story would be the one to save Apple and she did. But, but, the big but, that doesn't make Darling a prince at heart nor does it mean there is a love between Apple and Darling, she just fulfilled the story script and pure intent almost accidentally; anyone who would have performed CPR on Apple at that moment would have been able to wake her up and open fate as her prince, because she would have earned it. In the end this does not bind Apple and Darling romantically. Because it must be admitted for this point that if you saw the series and especially if you have read the books where Apple has an extremely close relationship with Raven, really, very close in the books particularly, where they talk better about how it looks was their friendship and their attachment, it is more real a RavenxApple than a DarlingxRaven. The series will quite possibly never point that way. But regardless of that, if we think deeply about the characters that's how I feel about Darling. I think yes happiness isn't necessarily next to a princess romantically, to me she can be Apple's knight and that would be great she even owes her life to him, but in romance Darling's happiness doesn't have to follow that pattern. I think Darling is different and follows her own path, that's it, cheers :3

It is precisely because Darling did the heroic act to save Apple that she was destined to be his true love.
however I don't think Darling would accept being the apple's "prince" precisely because her having this role has nothing to do with going on an adventure and being heroic.
and it would be interesting to see a character development based on that with darling having feelings for apple but not wanting to give up being the white knight as that's what makes her happy.
for in the end she decides to be the true love of apple and the white knight learning to balance her heart and her ambitions.
and it's also because of this vision that I really like darling and chese as BROmance.
It's the classic dynamic of an experienced character that follows the rule with a character with talent that doesn't care about traditions.
and the two develop a mutual respect as siblings-in-arms, with Chase supporting Darling as a White Knight and teaching her his ways and Darling teaching Chase to be less obsessed with rules and to open up more.
As someone who is a huge fan of the "unknown but wholesome" ship of Ginger Breadhouse × Hopper Croakington, it really breaks my heart to see that they are not even listed in the tier list. They may have their best interactions in just one of the books (the "spin-off" book Kiss and Spell), but it is so adorable that I just want to see them together!
What I don’t like about daring/rosabella is that she improves daring and gives him character development but she’s just that perfect lil girlie
Daring sort of cheated on Lizzie, it's in Kitty Cheshire's diary for her doll; she found Daring talking with Duchess I think, and she told Lizzie, and then Lizzie got upset at Kitty, but they made up and Lizzie and Daring broke up. I can't remember the entire thing, but I remember I was really upset about it lol.

technically none of the princes/(princesses :eyes:) are possible to be Briars waker upper?? cause she sleeps for a hundred years, im not sure how ever after high ages work but im pretty sure the prince is just from a nearby kingdom (so you cant say he fell asleep too, he was awake when he climbed through) sooo
poor briar??? her story was worse enough but now added on top of that it wont even be someone she REMOTELY knew from highschool???
Rosabella with Daring is one of my fav ships. Their kiss scene made me a happy and I watched that many times.
Also she kinda looks like me (brown hair, glasses) but she isn't as ugly as me. So her being with the handsome and popular guy made me so happy the first time I saw them together.
I completely agree with Apple and darling, I kinda took it and looked through the show with that light…like how Apple never wanted to make the relationship with daring official, because “they always have forever after”…but what if it’s really because she isn’t quite comfortable in the relationship because she has conflicted feelings about liking girls, but she put on an act about being happy because she is supposed to be a “perfect princess” and she doesn’t want to disappoint the people around them with her those internal conflict
