I got like 2 fps… still, it was really weird going back to DS-style controls with the double press dodge/sprint to jump and then automatically roll after the jump 😩

Use rainbow stones whenever you are in high place and throw them if they break you die sometimes you might get fall damage so be ware whenever you fall of high place... unless you feel by an enemy or got bonked or gang banged by multiple flying enemies till you fall and die.......

The only reason you can jump so well in elden ring is because the power of the next gen consoles that allows the souls engine to calculate the string theory needed

That's why I think a Londor DLC would of been exactly what the doctored ordered when taking into account that it would of tied in perfectly with the other DLCS and the main game for that matter considering one of the endings or some could argue the definitive ending for DS3 was the ashen one becoming the lord of Londor. Seriously just imagine for a second finally being able to encounter Velka either as a NPC or even cooler an actual boss!!.. 😱😱😱
It's good to see a game getting me this excited in 2022. I hope developers keep on making good games like this in the future. This is surely one of a kind tho.
Playing Elden Ring for a whole week, but I feel like I could still go back to DS3... I'll definitely miss the jumping but hell there's something good in every game... that and ds3 looks like a super linear game compared to Elden ring
I kind of prefer the more linear dungeon crawler maps of DS3, however the build variations in Elden Ring make the PVP 100x better, even if I wish there were still solo invasions.

All those years holding the running button has built up our calf muscles to finally jump more than the 2 inches off the ground that we were used to in previous games.
I remember doing that perfectly in the first go then miss pressing roll then falling of then spending the next hour trying to get up there.......good times

@@dvdgnz1 Yeah, most of these weapons have the exact same shallow moveset and you wouldn't even use 95% of them anyway. I prefer less weapons with huge moveset. Quality over quantity
I used to treat the tree jump like the oracle of Ancient Greek mythology. If I got the jump on 1-3 attempts. The run was gonna be great. Anything more than that was gonna be full of shenanigans and perhaps dying to a lot of bosses I shouldn’t lol

I'm thoroughly loving Elden Ring as well, I kinda wish they left the forward + R2 jumping attack also though. The jump and then R2 in ER doesn't feel quite as weighty for some reason. More than likely just a me thing though.
I was able to use Torrent to double jump up platforms to the top of a plateau There was another route, but the fact that could do it at all makes this game feel incredibly open and free
No honestly not being able to hop up or climb a small surface like that is ridiculous. The only people who would struggle are either physically or mentally infirm. Yeah most people don't go hopping/jumping around all day but for the most part we could if we wanted to. And I bet if someone left a bag of gold on a stage in front of you you'd start jumping like a bunny

there’s a lot of drops in ER that are better off walked off, usually see a lot of bloodstains over jumping or rolling
