@@AntonioFlores-kb7kg Damn, you guys gotta be even worse than me, when I'm already at my worst and yet, it wasn't very difficult to beat this 1st boss, when I was a complete 1st timer on Souls Like games. The most boss I was struggling, was Abyss Watchers, others weren't that tough.

Just some lore. Ds3 takes place after hundreds of fire rekindling over the course of hundreds of years. Everything has rotted and decayed into shit. Its also why you need to find 5 lords of cinder (people who have already linked the fire once before) to create a strong enough kindle to link the fire again
Elden Ring has messed me up because now I rely somewhat on the spirits and ashes of war, whereas in ds3 and Bloodborne you actually had to learn boss attack patterns.
summoning is the real thing that breaks the game i consider most ashes of war like an extra spell pretty much except for ones like bloodhound step and stuff like that but being able to have a boss take time off of you to focus on something else (some being able to literally solo bosses themselves) it gives you way too much leeway to think of an easy strategy or cheese it with a big hitting AoW
The thing is, the boss patterns in DS3 are a lot more reasonable for the average person to master after a few tries. Even nameless king, the hardest boss in the game, killed me around 10-15 times my first try with DS3. Whereas Melania took me well over 100 tries to beat without spirit ashes in ER . The challenge in DS3 is more fair IMO
@@StreamlinedGaming_ True enough. I felt fighting Melania that there was absolutely no chance I'd bear her without a spirit. Whereas even bosses like Martyr Logarius give clear openings

Elden Ring was my first souls game. I loved it. So, like so many other people, I bought Ds3 immediately after. Ds3 is an awesome game, but after ER, I found it so easy. Like others have said, enemies are so much more predictable and relatively easy to figure out - even bosses. (*Except Friede - she kicked my ass). Just subscribed. Amazing video. I’m also going to try out Dark Souls 3 again legit since Elden Ring truly got me craving that challenge itch I’ve been having.
I enjoyed Elden Ring and DS1! I have yet to attempt Bloodborne but I will eventually! What I think isn't fair is that people expect every souls-like to be just as good and as similar to the OG Dark Souls series. Each new souls-like that comes out is made by different/less popular developers, is unique. Souls-like means the game is similar to the souls series, but never the same content. Look at Lords of The Fallen, while it is a souls like, it is it's own unique game with it's own style and content. Everyone constantly judges a game based on it's launch, no game will ever be perfect on release. It's best to wait awhile before making any true critiques. Just because a game is a souls like, does not mean that it's going to be the exact same thing as the other ones or even the og souls series.
I'm playing it for the first time. Pretty sure I'm almost done. Just beat champion Gundyr in the untended graves and the big dragon at archdragon peak and I'm through the grand archives. Even some of the enemies and bosses have the exact same mechanics and just slightly altered avatar. Makes me feel like Elden Ring is just an open-world version of Dark Souls. So much is exactly the same.
I gotta ask cause im curious. How does he jump around so much with these games? Me personally if I start something like a Souls game I wanna stick with it so that I remember everything. If I started Elden Ring and then jumped to Bloodborne I feel like that's such a whiplash lol.
I played all three dark souls games at once, it was actually kinda nice because if I was stuck on one area I could fall back on an easier area for another game for a bit
@@thomasdevlin5825 That's fascinating to me. I started with Elden Ring. Then I played Sekiro, Lies of P, Dark Souls 1 and Lords of the Fallen. I’m finally going to try to tackle DS3. Wish me luck
"This does not seem like a first area enemy." Tree Sentinel would like a word
you play so good man
As someone who has only played Elden Ring, I've noticed that looking back at the Dark Souls games pretty much everything is taken straight from them.
That is a crazy way to play, I can move from them quickly with natural skill but not at the same time lawl.

That's fascinating to me. I feel like an issue I'd run into is I'd get deep into one game but then if I started another it would make me forget the other so when I came back to that deeper area that demands I have a good understanding of the mechanics, world, and NPCs I'd struggle.

I feel like learning the stories would just be impossible when jumping around so much. You'd never remember who is who or where.
Do you forget how to ride a bike when you drive a car?
"This does not seem like a first area enemy" says the Elden Ring player where Tree Sentinel was the first thing you see in Limgrave
Dont skip dark souls 2! Its a great game as well
Praise the vigor!
You missed the claymore and a trader if you wanted to know
I got the claymore on stream just cut it out of the video. I'll have to look around for the trader though, did see them
Love the FF8 battle music 😂
uchigatana is in ds1 as well its not the only weapon that you can find in basically all the games either
Dang it the "weast shield" got me

Haha this guy makes me laugh. Happy he’s finally playing DS3. YOU MUST USE FUGS. Super Chad weapon
You missed the best item in the ENTIRE GAME....the CLAYMORE, under the fire breathing dragon.

I have played all the dark souls games but for some reason ds3 was the hardest for me to learn. Only got to Aldrich then I put it down.
