  • Greetings fellow refuse industry enthusiasts😎. My sincere apologies for taking so long to do a new in-cab video. Bare with me in regards to editing. I noticed there are parts that seem to lag and the audio is also off a bit. Thank you for watching and riding along all of these years. I'm faced with a dilema of late, that may take me away from front end. My right arm has issues with tendinitis which the doctor tells me is caused and aggravated by the truck's joystick. This affects my business as well, because I had planned on getting another front loader. So, of late, I have been giving a great deal of thought to runnning a dedicated commercial roll off route. Time and health will ultimately determine that course though. As always, thank you for watching and commenting, peace and blessings to you all.

    Another great POV, although I must admit it’s not the same without that Mack engine fan screaming over you the whole time, haha. I still remember that series of in cab videos back from 2013. There’s something relaxing about sitting and watching you work, and listening to your stories as you narrate your day. Wishing you all the best in your health, and your struggles with county management.

    Sorry to hear about the arm... I get it. I drive school bus and roll off truck. I have it in my wrist and fingers from pulling the parking brake so many times a day. Its'
    crazy how something so small can eventually effect you in such a way. Rock on man.

    • @CoolHandMacc

      Thanks brother. Yep, it truly is. From what the doctor said, it's all of that repetitive motion that causes it over time. Take care as well and blessings to you.

    rolloffs sure don't (well....shouldn't) break down as much. I say this as mine is in the shop. albeit less of what you love, I think it would be better for your wellbeing. maybe your second truck is a front loader and even though you'd hire someone to drive it, you'd get your FL fix whenever he/she takes a vacation, or how ever often you want to get in it. take care of yourself

    • @CoolHandMacc
      @CoolHandMacc  4 года назад

      Have you tried toggling through your screen selections? It should be a simple reason why it's not showing. I actually had to call the McNeilus Tech line when I first got this truck to have them walk me through it. A couple of my cameras were showing reversed mirror images that shouldn't have.

    I’m A new front loader I drop a can in the hopper about two weeks ago I’m glad that I started in the summer time so I can get the true meaning to cleaning behind the blade I’ve only dumped behind the blade twice For the most part I’m stabbing the Cans a lot better And I’m making sure the rear of my truck aligns with the KTM and thank you so much for posting these videos I was so nervous the first time I sit in the truck and felt the vibration and how the truck shook Startled me but now I’m used to it, I call my baby teensy

      It didn't last long, our General Foreman saw how bad things were starting late and told us to go back to what we were doing before. Sadly though, he retired right before giving us that directive. So things could change at any time now which would put us back in a bad predicament.

    I love these in-cab ride along videos. St. Louis branch of Republic Services bans these type of videos. To me, I think it's just plain stupid. One of my sisters in law thinks that this is a good move. That way if you end up being involved in an accident and it's because of someone else's stupidity, you have the evidence right there. Many of these multi-city franchise trash haulers are good at ignoring their employees.

      Tell me about it. SMH, I don't like all of the super corporate rules of the mega companies. It can be annoying. At WM, you can't even drink from a cup while driving. That's ridiculous.
