- Im sorry for the long wait between videos. I was working on another Fallout related project before this one, but it was too ambitious , so I put it on hold due to the lack of progress. Anyway, while I was working on this particular unfinished video, I learned a ton of new tricks for fliming in Fallout 4. Of course I carried this knowledge over when making this Institute video. You could probably see the boost in quality right away. My goal with every video is to have it top the one before it. Right now I feel pretty well that this goal was achived. Becasue of this, I really hope that you're going enjoy the video for what it is and not hate on it becasuse you're a brotherhood fanboy or what ever.

@@keulron2290 It is actual quote and it's one of her visions if you bring her chems. This particular quote is when you take "Institute ending". Depending to faction you choose to do rest of the story with, it changes:
Minutemen - "You're standing with... the people. Working together. United. I see a land filled with hope again. Fear falls away as the brave step forward to join the ranks. You're a hero. A symbol for a better world. Our world."
Brotherhood - "You're wearing a suit of steel and energy. You're standing with... your brothers. Your mission. Accomplished. I see a land secured, contained. And your rank and chain of command protect you better than the thickest armor."

I suppose its really nice to actually have that time with Shawn as he is your son,The Institute is the ONLY faction that actually gives you leadership properly with an already built faction unlike the minutemen. You helped Shawn achieve his dreams before his death, and with that you save mankind, why not run it?

That what was so special about Fallout 4 for me. RPGs usually feel rigid and formulaic. But Fallout 4 really made me feel.

Its a good game, not the best, and a lot of games surpassed, but it does its job admirably and damn fucking well. Just needed to tap more of its potential is all.

Perfect tribute for those who sided with the Institute!
The institute ending is the only reasonable ending that a good parent would take
But not one a good human being would take. Would you throw away your humanity to help a son you barely know? Someone who has grown up and changed in a way you never expected, without you in their life at all? Even he viewed you as just an experiment.

Greetings Brahmin Fucking Bigot in a Blimp, I suppose killing off anybody who holds advanced technology, along with anyone who isn't fully human, is good for humanity. Or perhaps going to war with any province you visit is good for humanity. Or destroying 200 years worth of advanced science is good for humanity. At least when the SS sides with us he becomes the director, with the power to change the Institute. If they side with you they just become another one of Maxsons bitch boys, sucking his dick day and night.
Hello mad scientist, no actually we only kill ferals, you know the zombies to kill people, the dangerous ones, when we captured Pam from the misguided railroad we even programmed her to attack feral ghouls on sight, and we prefer to trade with people for their advanced tech, we were also hoping that you would be smart enough to surrender when we came, as palidan danse said when asked about the prydwen "history has shown that a overwhelming show of force has a chance to end the conflict before it even begins", so this whole thing could have been avoided if the institute had just stopped with their synth production but, we appeared to have overestimated the institutes intelligence
1 we don't kill off anyone with advanced tech, we prefer to trade 2 we don't kill off any one human, only the dangerous ones like super mutants, you know, the ones you created and dumped in the commonwealth 3 we only go to war with dangerous groups who threaten the province that they are in, just ask around the commonwealth, who is everybody scared of? I think you know the answer, like it or not you turned the people against you 4 yes I'm sure humanity will never recover without synth guerrillas 5 huh, I expected a institute person to understand their own leadership system, the president doesn't hold supreme power over the country, the same is with the institute, the director gives them, well direction, but you aren't going to be able to just snap your fingers and everybody will bow before you, so no you won't be able to change that much. Sorry to tell you but your little bunker full of mad scientist aren't the good guys, we may be morally questionable but we don't actively murder just for science
The characters look like they are from a telltale game
People say the ending of Fallout 4 was disappointing. Jesus, I found the story and the ending to be very emotion provoking. Spent the entire game searching for Shaun, rebuilding, wandering, and at the end I'm forced to choose between two very morally uncomfortable options. The Institute or one of the other factions. Between the son you've been searching for, and whatever moral code you possess. Essentially if you want to do the right thing you have to abandon and destroy your son and his dream, breaking the promise you made to your dead spouse at the beginning of the game, or do what you think to be morally and unquestionably right. And I envy you if you found the institute to be the most moral choice. The decision was bloody difficult for me.
Its kind hard to say. I had a hard time choosing. I had the thought that if both the father and mother were alive. They would be disappointed in their son. Obviously the parents morals dont match Shauns. And while Shaun isnt crazy. His morals are so.....far gone. And thats the sacrifice to progress in the world. The institute IS the best outcome for the commonwealth....but is it the right choice? As the SS says to Shaun as you are destroying the institute "Im letting the people of the commonwealth choose their own fate" And really is that so wrong? we know it will be destroyed but thats the commonwealths choice.
Slygon As I said, choosing between family and what is right. I actually started over from the beginning of the game to give me some more time to decide. I'm going with the Railroad this time so that I can infiltrate the Institute and actually have some time to talk to Shaun without the BOS telling me to go nuclear.
***** Haven't played all the way to the ending. Like I said, first playthrough I was planning to go the Brotherhood route because I wanted to see how my good buds from the Capital Wasteland were doing. Then when I got into the Institute the whole Father thing came completely out of the left field a punched me in the gut. I was actually expecting Shaun to be long dead or something to that effect. I never expected this. I'm replaying now as a Railroad agent. I roleplay a lot, so I'm not sure if my character will decide to stay in the Railroad or become a double agent for the Institute. I'm actually liking Shaun's character a lot, might go either way to be honest.
I liked the Railroad for their cloak and dagger approach to things. It appealed to me. I like the Institute so far as well, it has a really good feel to it, and apart from the mild irritation I get out of how they treat synths and how they refuse to even consider the possibility that they are sentient, all of the scientists are really friendly and nice to a certain degree. Minutemen as well are something that appeals to me. The Brotherhood....well I liked them better in FO3, but I can get behind them here as well. I'm probably going to have to ice the brotherhood either way I go, because they don't mesh well with the Railroad or the Institute. Well, such is life in the Wasteland I guess.
blazegunshark yknow the minutemen have a peaceful ending. Granted the institute gets iced but BOS and Railroad dont have to get iced

Holy BALLS you are good at this. Seriously man, you should send your work out to studios and stuff, try and get some kind of animation job if you enjoy doing it. Cause you're pretty fucking fantastic. Each tribute is fantastic in its own right, and each one improves greatly upon the last. That's talent. Keep it up!
I actually suck at animation. Every single animation in the video was found in the game files.
Regardless if you did the animations or not the video was incredible. You have talent in video production, to a degree that blows people's minds.

I chose the Institute ending the my first time. The Commonwealth is to dangerous to be left to its own devices. After I finished it i went to mama Murphy and she said I would save the Commonwealth even if the people don't trust me. The Institute was the best option, the BOS won't hesitate to put down anything that stands in its way, the railroad is a group of radicals, and the minute men are a hopeless dream that will eventually extinguish itself.

The minutemen are different from other factions, no matter what you do in any other faction, it won't expand or get any better, but the minutemen will, they look weak cuz they fight everytime the people need them, other factions don't have to get out of their bases, minutemen do, they fight for all settlements and for all settlers, they dont have a Unreachable dream, they have hope. Look, if you work hard enough in the game you might not be the ruler of Boston, but you certainly become the leader of the Biggest faction and the only one to have the biggest advantage, your have the people in your side and they will help just as you once helped them
When I killed the railroad I took off my power armor helmet while i did it, cause I felt like the fact that they all gave up their own lives for the sake of synths was at least an admirable ideal, even more so that they died for it.

This is so, so well done! It's almost like a trailer, and it really shows the main character's journey. From leaving the vault to finding his son, and helping the Institute, shows how truly chaotic and epic Fallout 4 is. Brilliant work, very well done.

Give him FEV, and then use his previous DNA to turn him human again.

also, you seem to have a lot of shots that don't seem to go with the game animations and i would like to know how you did that
+Dylan Hemman All of the animations in the video are from the vanilla game and were extracted from the ba2 animation archive in the the game's data folder. Most of the animations shown are seen in-game quite often, but some (like the cryo pod animation) seem to have been cut. Also, the gun mods in the video were Modern Firearms, FN Five-seveN, and the IMI Desert Eagle.

TCG In the console, type "help (whatever idle your looking for) 4 idle"
So it would be something like "help raider 4 idle". Then you would get a big long list of idle names.
If you want to find something really specific, I would recommend to download "Dave's Poses". This mod is mainly used for screenshots, but you can really easily replace the HKX pose files with animations extracted from the animations.ba2 in the game's data folder.
Just ask if you want me to explain this more.

Panus Il Grande sorry I'm late with this reply. The Dave's Poses replacement method does work very well with walking/running animations. In the ESP for the Dave's Poses mod, there is a script (I'm just assuming with this) that makes it so the pose ,or in this case, animations, will repeat immediately after they ended. The mod creator put this in so people could have plenty of time to take a photo, but coincidently this is very useful for looping animations.

Because i saw a few of the guns that are more modern era, The Service rife is fine though, it could have been in Fallout 4 by default. Other than that i say you are DA bomb... Atom Bomb that is ;)
+Phoenix The White Hat Hacker I honestly don't really think about how lore friendly my videos are. I show a lot of weapon and environment mods because I want people to see something "deferent". I feel that people may get tired of seeing the same vanilla Fallout 4 over and over.

No, I'm self taught. I started by watching a lot of movies and studying the camera angles. Quickly I noticed trends in the way things were filmed, and I tried to mimic what I saw. Eventually after doing this for a very long time, I sort of developed sense of what a good camera angle is, and how to set up a good camera angle.
I'm being 100% honest when I say this, but I'm truly impressed. Self-taught, and making vids this good? I see promise!

Great vid for a great game. FO4 was brilliant in reintroducing the Wasteland, yet showing where mankind *could've* been, sans bombs, alongside it.
Replacing mankind is nigh impossible, but could be for the better, at the same time, it took away who we were, are, could be... Superb entry in the series.
