I always work alone on this kind of stuff. The Bethesda guys probably have one or two people that do the filming and then one guy the cut the clips together. This stuff is hard work, and it's even harder to actually make junk look good. My videos are focused on story and cinematography, Bethesda trailers are short and mostly focus on the gameplay. There's a huge difference in the production of these types of "trailers", (hint telling a story harder). Sorry for rambling. Bethesda wouldn't care to offer any employment to me right now because of my age. Still in high school you know. But it is a dream job.
+Bluepanda damn for a high school student, you have a talent for video editting. You should further your studies in video making, if there are such courses in your local colleges.
I chose to help the railroad free the synths I want to fight for freedom against the brotherhood of steel and the institute the whole world deserves freedom the brotherhood doesn't care they only destroy synths that are bad and good their bad people the institute are kidnappers who take people and I won't allow bad things to happen to the commonwealth
Joining the railroad is the best option if you're looking for the best storyline. Because there is a lot of good movie like things you do. Lose friends like Glory. People seeking freedom. Plans and all that stuff
SomeRedGuy If you are trying to become a military force and take leadership of the common wealth, then yes you need a stable government. The railroad has a good vision but they are flawed. They would rather save synths than humans. The brotherhood is a much better choice, they are stronger both in numbers and power. Hell even the minute men would be better. What is the railroad gonna do for the wasteland after they free synths huh? They would have no purpose
@@elithefennecfox2351 You're not understanding me, in the story it's already stated that the railroad is not a military group they never stated they ever were. They only have one goal, that's freeing the Synths after they do so they will not be needed so they would drop their colors after their goal is finished, they aren't looking to control the Commonwealth either, that's the Brotherhood and the Institute.
SomeRedGuy You can free synths sure, but if you.put them before the lives of humans, which they do, then that's not ok. Military or not, they are flawed and they will die
If you think about it the RailRoad's ending is arguably the most impressive seeing as they lack the military strength and logistics of the Brotherhood and their technology is far inferior to the Institute's yet they manage to destroy both factions by a combination of being clever and audacious. Additionally they lack the numbers that a rebuilt Minutemen enjoy. I know the RailRoad gets a lot of hate and it is indeed flawed, and siding with them will involve getting your hands dirty. But at the end of the day you have a small but diverse group of people who take terrible risks to aid a very small and hated minority. This is particularly admirable when you consider that most of them are unlikely to benefit directly (the exceptions being the synth members like Glory) and that many of them such as Dez, Tinker Tom, Carrington, and Old Man Stockton could likely lead very prosperous and secure lives (by wasteland standards). When you consider all that you have to be pretty damn noble to do what they do. As for the Brotherhood and Institute...well that's like choosing between the Enclave and Vault-tec, not sure which choice is worse
ThatGUY666666 no your wrong about that last paragraph. We've lived in a scorched hellscape for 210 years. We have broken down the Super Mutant army time and time again. We have walked the wastes protecting people form it's dangers. We have fought off countless abominations. We as a species have secured our right and position as the Dominant Species. As the Brotherhood of Steel it is our duty to protect that right above all else. Synths are not human they are highly complex machines. Ghouls will go Feral in the end. Super Mutants are exactly what happens when Science is allowed to be utilized by those who are unable to see their own horrid twisted morality. Humanity requires sacrifice if we are to rebuild. The brotherhood bears that burden so you don't have to. We are the Brotherhood of Steel and we are humanity's best hope to as the dominant species not only survive but to thrive. Ad Victoriam
Deltahunter You can be right if this games protoganist would be another character then sole survivor. I don't think any parent could be destroy his/her son just because he is right. Yes brotherhood ending could be good for boston, or railroad or minuteman. But it isn't a good ending for a parent to destroy his son's legacy. For that Instute is a bad faction for Boston, even bad faction for humanity but not a bad faction for a parent. But i thought railroad could be ok. When working with instute you see how bad is life for a synth. S. Survivor can help them because of his conscience. Or he can help the Minuteman because of his mercy for people of boston. But for BoS there is no conscience or mercy. Only the order. You select that order because you know Bos from previous fallout games but S. Survivor don't know that. I don't think he will join them.
When I first thought about starting these videos, I wondered if I could make a tribute for all of the factions. I'm just a little worried that latter videos won't stand up to this one. In my opinion, the music makes the video. The dialogue and footage are just there to help push every thing along. Most other songs that I've found are good, but are lacking in the "action" category of the music. So when I make a video for the brotherhood, I'm gunna need a track that really would express the "military training" and all of the enemies they face. Oh, and thank bro, this was a damn good video. A pain to make though.
I was with brotherhood until they told me to kill the railroad, then I turned on them. Even though I didn't like synths I thought about how Valentine was a good person and how there mut be others like him so I stayed with the railroad till the end.
Don't worry. I'm an high-ranked memeber of Midwest Brotherhood of Steel. We have sent our troops to the Commonwhealth, Washington and other areas possibly inhabitted by east coast Brotherhood of Steel. We are going to hunt down every last of them!
I joined the Railroad because really synths are EXACTLY like normal human beings. I can understand the horror at the fact that they're _replacing_ people, but otherwise they should be treated normally.
"I fight for freedom. Mine, and everyone's. I fight for the right to choose our own fate" Beeing Commander Shepard, there's only one faction to choose here ;-)
That line at the end is actually one of my top 5 in the game maybe even top 3. Its implications are actually so strong when it comes to your character and how they rationalize their actions.Like in this game more than any other bethesda game the main character has their own distinct personality from, and that is awsome. -side note bluepand this is a rad video gj
I love how your videos perfectly reflect the feel of a play through when you’re really immersed in your characters emotions, your videos are what it feels like to play fallout!
Exactly what I was thinking. This is basically how I have played fallout all these years. It’s like a movie but one that you star in. I know when I got to the end of this game it was quite sad just because of the way I played.
Your video isn't good, it's amazingly beautiful. many forget fallout is not just a fps . you show them there a story. even that this fallout has evolved. your FO4 vids are quite possibly the best I've and anyone has ever seen. I'm literally stunned and happy too see these. you are the most talented vid maker of any fallout game ever. love them all keep up the good work
As much as I dislike the story of 4, this video manages to make me want to play that story again. I love this video, and your other tributes as well. My Geiger counter is in the shop.
I dislike the way Bethesda told the story. But that’s the thing with 4 simple cutscenes or events in game have so much meaning but it’s just not given the correct amount of attention. For instance, at the end of the game depending on your choices your main character has lost essentially everything he/she ever loved. Your character almost feels emotionless. Pandemic has another video called Dream that would have been perfect for the end of the game.
Dude.... TWO THUMBS UP! My jaw was on the floor in aw by the time I finished watching this. That does not happen very often nor do I comment often either. Marvelous work! Keep up the good work! Curious to see how you would do the other factions......... *wink, wink, nudge, nudge.*
I sat down at my computer, and had no idea how to start the next video. There was a knock at the window. Before I could react it shattered and broken glass was scattered all over the floor. It was him. Mr. Time. He knew how long it was going to take me to make this video. Before I could speak he punched in the face and handcuffed me to my desk. "Three weeks, you have three weeks", he said in a rough, deep voice. "What!, why so long? This video is only going to be three minutes long!" "Hm hm hm" he laughed. "I'm not alone". There was another bang at the window. Standing there, larger than the last time we met was Mr. Quality. He sat next to me a laid his "tools" on the unused chair near by. The knife, the drill, and... And a whip? I gazed up and saw him looking right at me, dead in the eyes. With a evil grin from ear to ear, he said "It's time to get to work boy".
Pandemic, man after these great many months, there's no telling how many hundreds of times I've seen this one, Ad Victorium, Mankind and Happiness. Man you seriously have done a legendary job well done on these videos, the Edits, camera angling, syncing the music greatly with the moments in the video. This is the kind of work equivalent to Profound music composers, movie producers, etc!
"The railroad? I would've expected they'd be too busy trying to liberate vending machines, or setting computer terminals free." - Virgil. Perfectly sums up those radical hippie terrorists.
This game man. It just displays how humanity is. Even in the best of causes, you'll often have to watch a lot of people die. Even if those people were evil, you begin to think about their families. I stared at the prydwen for a long time after I blew it up. Same for the Institute crater. Same when the bodies of the railroad lay dead on the floor.
I've taken a habit to watching videos like this, videos where a tv show or movie would be tributed in some way whether it was a character, and event or just all of it. I've seen videos that try to do the same with video games, never, and I mean never have I come across any videos regarding a tribute to a video game that were so damn good and spoke so firmly in their intended messages. Whether or not you agree with the ideals of the railroad or the brotherhood or even just looking to explore and experience the commonwealth these videos show just how harsh a place is and what different choices do to not just the commonwealth but to the character as a whole. Absolutely brilliant job, "dearie" !!! ;) Keep at it, please!
This majestic piece of work or others would call a Machinima showed me what mistake i made to point the gun and not ask i was going to my doom not ad victoriam now i must return to fix whats broken before its too late
I think this is the best one besides the Dream video. I love how deep he goes into freedom. And the characters are right. "All people wanna be free, they just have to have the opportunity to take".
They may not try to govern anybody but they are racist and fanatical. Listen to their rhetoric about Non-humans and tell me you don't see any similarities. Not to mention very hypocritical. They preach and preach about how the Great War was an abuse of technology. Then they ask you to Arm a nuke throwing robot. At best they're like their west coast brethren and we saw what happened there. At worst they've become a softer Enclave. They haven't gotten as bad as the enclave yet but they are heading down that path.
Thanks man, and I felt the same way when I started making these videos. Fallout 4 from the surface looks the same as all Bethesda's past games. But when the player camera is detached (tfc), the fov is narrowed, and the camera movement is decreased (sucsm), a person with the proper knowledge of cinematography would really be able to make something special. When I applied this to the game, and filmed movements/animations that people see all the time when exploring the wasteland, it made the game feel "different". I can't think of the word off the top of my head but I'm sure you know what I mean. Oh, and I'm working on the Brotherhood of Steel for the next video.
This was my first ending. The Brotherhood was filled with good people, soldiers like the comrades my character fought alongside in Anchorage. But killing the Synths was wrong and even though the East Coast Brotherhood saved DC, I couldnt side with them. Not over the Railroad, but more importantly Shawn. For a bit there, I found myself legitimately working for the Institute, I saw its potential I thought I could change Shawn and the Institute. And Yet I continued to spy on them for the Railroad. I couldn't let the Brotherhood wipe them out so I saved who I could from the Railroad. Me and my Minutemen stormed the Police Center, that I had once defended. Didnt want to kill Rhys, I begged Halen to drop her gun. Me and Deacon boarded the Vertiberd. I had already set up a small army of my minutemen at the airport, bombed the ground with mortars and homing beacons while me and Deacon stormed the Prydwyn. I killed them all, including Brandis, if only I left him in that cave. We rigged the ship to blow and let it crash into the airport. Most of the militarized settlers I stationed disappeared in the wreckage. I foolishly braved the debris in search of survivors and ran into a few like Dr. Madison, who actually surrendered. It was short lived as she was then shot by Sargeant Gavil accompanied with Knight Lucia and Paladin Danse. Even more surprising a few of the Minutemen survived the explosion, emerging from the wreckage and engaging the surviving Brotherhood of Steel. Danse and Lucia died in the firefight but the only one I didnt care to save, survived and surrendered. Before I could decide how to shot him I spotted some Mirelurks in the distance. At gun point I I disarmed him and told him to run in thier direction. Once they spotted him, I holstered my gun, collected everyone else's tags and decided to leave. Before I did though, I furiously discovered a chip on Danse. I seriously considered killing Deacon afterwards, for Shawn and in memory of The Brotherhood but then thier deaths would mean nothing. I also had no desire to turn my back on the Synths. That's why I gave Patriot the signal. Mostly I watched what was surely the Brotherhood's worst nightmare, Synths massacaring humans. The Railroad helped them slaughter, and I helped take down the Gen 1s just doing as they were programmed to do. I saw a lot of unarmed scientists brutalized by thier creations. I made it to Shawn, said what I could say, convinced him to at least help issue an evacuation. Before I could leave I realized I couldnt just let him burn in that fire. So just before I left, I pulled out Kellogg's gun and I ended his suffering. Strapped a fusion bomb to the reactor I helped my now dead son build, and yelled at the boy Shawn programmed into believing he was my own son. I told him the truth, that he was a Synth but then I let him come with me to watch as the only home he's ever known dissapeared in the same kind of explosion that destroyed my characters entire way of life. Everyone called me a hero, Piper printed it in the news, the Minutemen hailed me as the saviour. I quit the Railroad, retired, and left the boy with Curie and Codsworth at Sanctuary. I placed all the dog tags of the Brotherhood at the ashes of the Institute and left my Paladin armor there as well. Finally I went back to Vault 111, down those chilly halls to the pod I emerged from. I opened Nora's pod, her chilled body preserved, and returned her ring, alongside my my own. I didnt seal her pod, instead I walked back to my old pod. I took out Kellogs handgun, and turned back around. Then I didnt get back into the game till mods and DLC came out.
Bit late to this video but its amazing you deserve so much more fame i hate it when smaller youtubers dont get enough fame i will be sure to share on social medias great work!
you are too good for youtube. How has none of these game companies offered to hire you. Also you make fallout 4 storylines sound way more interesting than they actually are which just shows your talent
The attack on the Castle by the BOS after Minuteman artillery blows up their airship is an epic event. On my last vanilla run (before PV, OAR, Fusion City installed) I used Sim Settlements to build the Castle. I had done it manually many times. It did a great job, I just had to modify the trader entrance a bit to force anyone coming in into single file. Then turreted the shit about it. Missile launchers up on the ramparts beside the turrets. Guard posts. And of course, me and my companions. I wish I had used FRAPS to record that last one, because I probably won't do a vanilla "piss off the BOS until they are so intent to attack Preston wants the airship downed." And unlike the Railroad or Institute, we fight the BOS straight up, gun to gun, defense to Vertibird, and it was not easy the first couple times.

There's a mod that lets you do that. I have various pieces of combat armour over it.
lewisner His comment was 2 months ago... Before ps4 mods...
Unified Clothing Overhaul Mod for the PS4, there you go.
Yehia zein but how do i put weapons as apparel like that sniper any mod for that
I've taken a habit to watching videos like this, videos where a tv show or movie would be tributed in some way whether it was a character, and event or just all of it.
Damn that guy Liam. He's the reason behind all this chaos.
Institute: A SLAVE OBEYS!!!(would you kindly)
I see what u did there
These should be movie trailers if a movie ever comes out
Bethesda
hire this guy already
Wow, this is an amazing cinematic. 10/10
This majestic piece of work or others would call a Machinima showed me what mistake i made to point the gun and not ask i was going to my doom not ad victoriam now i must return to fix whats broken before its too late
Oh god these videos are making the choice between who to side with even harder
I'm happy I came across this channel
Damn railroad propaganda
damn synth hater.
gimme your ring
AD VICTORIAM
Bing Bing bong eater
railroad for life
*Sniff* So beautiful~!
I watched these all out of order because I discovered "Dream" first, then watched the rest. They're all so good!!!
the best animation that I've seen
This made my day! So well edited. Absolutely brilliant! I can't wait for more!
I think this is the best one besides the Dream video. I love how deep he goes into freedom. And the characters are right. "All people wanna be free, they just have to have the opportunity to take".
The best tribute for fallout 4 so far! Well done!
fallout 3 brotherhood > fallout 4 brotherhood
Pretty much the same thing
Not by a long shot. The Brotherhood of Fallout 4 have much more in common with the Enclave than Lyons.
sabergreen2010 like what? They arent trying to govern anybody
+sabergreen2010 fuck synths and mutants ,humanity and bos for life
No words can explain how cool this video is.
This gives me the chills so much!!!😆great video man
2:32 damn, the feels
Great work Bluepanda, this really made me appreciate the game more.
I really, really hope you make more of these in the future.
Both the brotherhood tribute and this has bought me to tears, good job
You could totally work for a video game company as their trailer engineer. This is wonderful work.
" I have a dream that one day we could all come together and unite as one"
This is why I joined the railroad |;_;|
same
Then you did the bad choice.Well done.
Thats your opinion.
Nope its the truth. They are a deceptive and treacherous faction.Only Deacon and Glory are worthy.
you are taking this way to fucking seriously. The brotherhood got to your sences.
Shawn is a good man. I'm gonna miss him.
The institute is our family, by blood.
man all of these tributes you do man give me the feels
I've watched a lot of great tribute videos. This one is special.
Man... Awesome video. That must be so much to do that kind of thing. It's... Perfect
Railroad for life
Appropriate--the best of your tribute videos goes to the best faction. This is excellent work.
This guy pulled a knife on three guys. One if which has a minigun
I love these things
RAILROAD! FUCK YEAH! FREEDOM! FUCK YEAH! This tribute it's amazing! You got some real talent.
Every time I watch that video, I cry... it is kind of inspirational cry, very weird to describe.
I rewatch these vids every couple of days while in an FO4 playthrough! They're just so damn good =D
right in the heart strings
2:21 The most badass scene
Omg I get goosebumps when I see this its so epic!! You make the best Fallout tributes! Keep it up, I wanna see more of these beauties!
Absolutely brilliant and beautiful.
Dude. Fantastic video. One problem though.
The music is WAY too loud.
Now THAT, my friend is a trailer!
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL MAN!
You certainly make powerfully moving videos. Bravo.
this unit has a soul we fight for the railroad to free organics
Darn you with your mass effect references, I miss legion again, almost makes me want to side with the railroad...almost, ad victorium
Why does this video not have 1+ million views by now?
These videos are simply amazing, you do great work
This was awesome sent chills down my spine and body holyyy
Bit late to this video but its amazing you deserve so much more fame i hate it when smaller youtubers dont get enough fame i will be sure to share on social medias great work!
Damn, damn damn... I'm not one to like stuff easily.. you sir have talent.
you are too good for youtube.
Bethesda really does know how to tell a great story.
A Beautiful and awesome video captures the moment perfectly. This video and the others i have watched on this series a truely awesome, Have a thousand thumbs up Dude.
your videos are to good i love it man i can't stop watching them lol i think crazy or something yo but great job again 👍
Thanks bro. People like you motivate me to make more videos. Unfortunately, my next video may not be out for a while due to me having "editors block" and not knowing what to put in the video. This really slowed me down, and some days I only got 2-4 seconds edited. I'll give it two more weeks.
Bethesda should hire this guy
this is my favorite tribute video.
