I loaded up 76 the other day and it actually was super different than what I had experienced at launch. My favorite QOL improvement is when you kill an enemy they get highlighted when you're near so dead bugs and such that land in tall grass are way easier to find.
Thats because Kinggath is really good at his job. :D
This Todd joke was a mistake from the start. People pretend 76 is still in the same state as when it released. It'll never be a great game, but it's fine now if all you want is fallout with other people.
Well, yeah. It's a passion project, while Fallout 76 was clearly meant only as a cash grab. Which is a shame, they probably would've made a ton more money and had fewer headaches if they released fallout 5 or properly remastered older fallouts. The new vegas modding community is huge. They would've loved a remaster.
It's nice to have a giant mod project not only release, but push several major updates without feature creep or bloat. Kinggath is a hell of a project manager, and it shows.
You know it's fan made and not official, because of the extremely high quality.
This makes me want to play Fallout 4 all over again.

I've been in RUclips a lot more and seeing mods so now I'm like hell yeah I gotta get me one more play through before Starfield drops. The the mod god's for the cheat room lol
Fallout 4 is high quality, but i think what you mean is that, this was a well put together trailer. i kinda wish that was how the game played out, well you can actually get this ending but it takes alot of work. trying to convince the Brotherhood to work with the Railroad is next to impossible, but you can get them to work with the Minute Men.
This is a really well made trailer. When the paladins made their drop and said “Elder Maxon sends his regards” that brought a manly smile to my face.
BoS dropping in and letting rip, then Synths portalling in. Some Avengers: Endgame stuff going on here! Fisto from 3 showing up as the Ed The Duck cameo for this would make my day :D

This feels like an actual proper ending to Fallout 4, to unite the Commonwealth to defend it from an actual threat and not going in as just one person but as a huge community
This is what the real plot should’ve been about. Uniting the various Commonwealth factions against a threat that could destroy everything they’ve built.
it is what i wanted from the start i remember my first playthrough and being forced to pick only one faction it pissed me off so much as each had dam good stuff they added to the game as much as the constant minute men defend shit pissed me off i liked the idea of them defending the settlements the brotherhood brought heavy fire power and the other two bought things aswell that would of made a great united front against any threat being forced to pick one side was a major waste for what they were seeming to lead to with rebuilding this combined with a few other mods could make the best ending to the game ever as
we fight as one

Bruh that’s literally the plot of fallout 4. The Institute is a legitimate threat, and we travel with companions, use minutemen flares, and set up settlements with settlers that also help defend.

From a mod that simply made settlements less annoying and time consuming for you to even bother with. To a mod that gives you a brand-new story with interesting characters, a massive upgrade to the gunner faction. It truly has been an amazing journey to experience the evolution of this little mod, from Simsettlements to the final Chapter of Simsettlements 2

Started a new playthrough of SS2 for the first time in over a year, and seeing Jake walk over during the first quest felt like reconnecting with an old friend. Thanks for letting us partner up with you all these years. And thanks to the whole Sim Settlements team for such an amazing mod!

Thank you guys for this experience. It's crazy seeing how far you all developed, starting from a simple plan to make settlement building better and then pushing the limits and showing what Fallout 4 modding can really be. So many great memories. Fantastic characters and a story/quest that will always be part of my Fallout 4.
God, I love the idea of a threat to the commonwealth so large, the major factions and the remnants of factions, put aside their differences for the same goal. Protecting their home. Really just shows why I fell in love with sim settlements, finding, making and protecting home is at the heart of it.
Seriously, this team should get their own game from Bethesda. This team has shown better game-building processes than most large studios. Their fan engagement is top-notch, they have a clearly outlined game plan, no pun intended. And they ACTUALLY PRODUCE! lol. Quality is top notch and that includes the how-to video's. I could go on and on but I will just say thank you for such great entertainment and for all the work you have put into such an incredible set of mods.

This is genuinely one of the best mod trailers ive seen. When the fire fight in sanctuary broke out, i said outloud "This is what fallout four should have been." 100/10. Genuinely some of the best work ive seen, i got chills at the end.

You may be excited for Starfield after playing SS2C3. Starfield may be using some of the SS ideas for their new settlement building system. It's probably why people are so excited for it in the first place.
@@KalEl7802 Yah but the 50's music and look and feel is what makes Fallout so special and draws me back over and over and Starfield doesn't have that so i am not sure about Starfield yet. I really like RPG with good music and radio stations that make a good environment. I think Cyberpunk 2077 did a good job of that also. The end story is the only draw back to Cyberpunk to me.
I'm more excited because unlike starfield and F4 when it launched, this mod will actually work as advertised.

OMFG, thank you for this. Read about it years ago but kind of got over FO4 but I'm definitely going to check this out.
All I have to say to the entire Sim Settlements team is thank you. When i first played fallout 4 i wanted to find something to make settlements alot easier and stumbled onto the first mod and have been using it and 2 in every playthrough of Fallout 4 yet . Cant wait to zip up the old vault 111 jumpsuit again and go meet some old friends for chapter 3.
So again thank you so much Kingath and crew you guys are amazing.

If SS2 Chapter 2 can allow you to retake the GNN then so can Quincy. A fantastic way to wrap up the Minutemen and Preston on a high note

Tell me about it because that CC mod was underwhelming. Cannot save Quincy and convert it into a settlement and the only thing you’ll get is a power armor paint 😑
There are some hard-coded issues with Quincy, including enemy spawns and non-removable terrain blockers, that make it almost unfixable by mods. It'll probably never be what it should have been. 😢
Looking at the Wiki, there is a "Battle for Quincy" quest...
@@elizawulf8180 Yes, that's a Creation Club thing - it just gives you some extra power armour colour schemes after a big battle with the Gunners. There's no way to keep the place permanently under your control - the Gunners will still respawn no matter what you do.

I love how Sim Settlements how evolved and grown in vision since its inception. Kinggath and all contributing modders really do deserve mega kudos for bringing the depth of settlement building Fallout4 deserved. Bravo on a new chapter!

I find it absolutely incredible how this mod project started as a re-design of Fallout 4's settlement system, and now it has evolved into one of the most elaborate questline mods I've seen for this game. A remarkably good job!

Thought this was a machining and went digging through channel to see this is a mod and I must say I’m impressed. Clear dedication and drive, I’m going to have to grab this and play through it on a new character.
I hardly ever comment, but at this point it is inevitable! Thank you for this fantastic journey into what I think is the best mod ever made for the Fallout saga (and beyond). If I'm at 1700 hours of gameplay I owe it in large part to the work you've done all this time! I am sure that in Bethesda they would have so much to take inspiration from all that you have accomplished with SS!

The quality of the work on these chapters, from the VA's to story, content, to characters, and weaving in vanilla characters into the mod so seamlessly is just incredible!
