- Marion Lavorre and Babenon Dosal are 2 of my favorite NPCs in
campaign 2, and I'm a sucker for happy endings, so I just had to do this.
It was weird drawing a scene without the usual audio, it didnt turn out as good
as what I had in mind initially but good enough to tell the story.

only after hiding good portion of silver plates from her. And hiding some chocolate coins around for Luke.

Jester: Oh. Okay. [Proceeds to hide the forks].
Ruby: What on earth are you doing?
Jester: Taking precautions! You know, I caught her making off with the silverware once.
Matt: so, they saw each other a few times but eventually realized that the Gentleman's lifestyle wouldn't allow him to be with Marion
Me: oh okay, that's a bit sad but makes sense I guess
Matt: ...so he faked his death and left his crime empire to be with her
Me: YESS THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER

Knowing Veth, it was probably tea and whiskey. Better than she was before, but not all the way there.
Me: Whatcha drinkin’ Veth?
Veth: Oh just a little concoction that brings back memories for me.
Me: Awww that’s great, what is it?
Veth: Whiskey from a flask of perpetual booze that never got washed mixed with some tea made from dead people and a splash of Lionette vintage wine.
Me: ……………Marion may I have some more regular old tea please?
Veth: *loudly slurps drink* Aaaaahhh memories.
Do you think Fjord, Jester, Marion, and The Gentleman all pose for their new family portrait after Fjord and Jester get Married? It feels like Jester would demand a new portrait everytime a new family member is added.
Guaranteed that she has one of each of the mighty nein and a big group family picture

This is so great! I love how you drew the younger Marion/the gentleman in the flashbacks. Also I love the implication that Marion and Veth often have tea together, because of course they do
Because i want it to be canon, Veth and the Ruby having teaparties
@@morbidnumbskull it's only logical. Veth's family spent a long time there. Marion in general had time to bond with more than a few npcs. Glad for that, seeing as how she had outside issues.
@@morbidnumbskull It practically is canon, we know that Marion often invited Veth's husband and Luke over to the Lavish Chateau after they had moved out and gotten a home of their own in Nicodramas during the time of the campaign and there is no reason that should have ceased after Veth settled down there, too. It is alluded that due to both her profession and her agoraphobia Marion had many admirers, but very few (if any) true friends outside the Chateau, so it would make sense that she kept close contact to those friends she made who appreciated her for something else than being a high class "adult entertainer".
I would encourage u to send this to Matt Mercer and mainly Laura Bailey. I am sure she would LOVE this.
Matt: Veth, roll a constitution saving throw.

Matt: The man removed his hat and sunglasses. Upon recognizing the azure hue of his skin, the shock makes you swallow the tea and it goes down the wrong pipe. You sputter and choke and cough for a few seconds as it eventually finds its way out through your nose like a pair of inverted geysers. You suffer 4 points of damage
bruh that's helluva strong sputter, 4 pts of damage 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@morbidnumbskull I would've specified damage type (acid in this case) but decided not to. And yes, because this is an out of session roll, I get to fudge it.
4 pts is like half the health of a level 1 wizard 😁😅

Honestly one of the most successful traps I've ever seen a player plan up and perfectly execute in a D&D game.
Let's be honest I bet Jester is watching and when her parents hug reunited after so long she clears her throat and when they look at her they realize she set this up. She runs up and joins the hug
That family portrait at the end is perfect, I appreciate how toned you made Jesters arms, girl was indeed jacked

i will forever love that the parent trap idea was originally a joke, saying theyd never actually do it, but running from nicodranas led them right into the perfect parent trap, and it actually worked, amazing
it felt like Matt also wanted it too
I like to think jester go back to home from her voyage just to make the family portrait and she goes back to voyaging again

Marion was Luc's foster mom for a period of time, and I bet Luc is a lot like Jester when she was younger, very hyper :D

This is a thing of beauty. You captured Veth perfectly, love how you tinted Ophelia's grey skin to have a bluish tone, the blue rose was an amazing touch, soundscape is amazing and the more contrasted and vibrant colors between clothes and skin in the flashbacks with the more muted and subdued colors of the present is beautiful visual storytelling.
I really wish there was spoken lines to go with it because I can just hear all the characters saying every line you wrote here.
One minor color problem, at 1:15 Marion has blue skin. Which of course I only noticed because of how bloody many times I've watched this piece of art. Speaking of *hit's replay*
ive watched this plenty of times and i havent noticed the sudden frame where marion becomes blue until you pointed it out 😳

The gorgeous Ruby finally gets to be with her little Sapphire and her handsome Aquamarine.
The little flashes of their past and the music together brought me to tears on a scene that I was smiling through the entire time.
