You can hang clothes together that are already an outfit put together ready to wear i.e. pants with a shirt and jacket or sweater.
I just love your videos. They’re very informative and practical. Just one thing. I’m guessing you’re wearing a full beat of makeup but the light washes you out and makes you look like your face is bare. You’re so beautiful and I think more color on your lips and/or cheeks would make you look more like how you look in person.
I instantly thought it was the color of the turtleneck top that was washing her out. Hadn't noticed this before.
Thank you so much Heather! I am more of a minimalist when it comes to makeup and what I wear for videos is probably what most women wear on a normal day lol! That said, thank you sooo much for the feedback. I will add some more color on my lips and cheeks. (it will look the same for my next few videos because I already shot them, but when I shoot again I will add more color) 😊
I so agree, for me high-quality and classic, timeless, but modern styles are the key to acquiring clothes that I love forever. I think your videos need a lot more visuals, though, they’re just talking.

Great information! I’ve recently started buying items that are foundational. My wardrobe is beginning to feel more like me and represent my current stage in life. Some pieces are missing such as good quality T-shirts. The ones I’ve tried that are supposed to be great quality have not met my expectations. Thank you for the links, I will look into these. I love white tees so much that I have them in long- , short-sleeved and sleeveless versions and several neckline styles, crew, V and square. I love my thick, long sleeved ones for the cooler months. All 100% cotton, of course. A white top, whether t-shirt, button-front or blouse, has always been one of my favorite wardrobe items.

Ive just found your channel and binge watching your videos, Im decluttering my wardrobe today, Im aiming towards a 10 item ish, capsule wardrobe and will pack away out of season clothes, also will sort out items to thrift or sell. Thanks from the UK

Love the video. A little too much black and white for my style, but I do agree with good quality basics.
Cheap fabric doesn't hold up or look good. I will note the white blouse you linked is polyester not silk. Maybe it's the wrong link. Lovely blouse though. I wish it was in more colors.
Thanks Cheryl! Your capsule pieces can be any neutral colors you feel best in. Thank you for pointing out that the blouse isn't silk. My mistake! Mine is from a few years ago from the same designer and its silk so I assumed this one was as well. I will find a silk similar blouse, as I'm not a fan of polyester.

A capsule wardrobe is a FABULOUS idea and it’s NOT boring. If you look at the billionaires and power players of both sexes, they have a “uniform” that works for them because they don’t have the time to mess around with finding something to wear.
I use foundational pieces as my base, then I have a few items to “kick them up a notch”, like a nice print, a bright color that suits me, and accessories. I also have dresses as my “work uniform” since they look nice, they’re easy, and I can mix and match other items to change the look, like add accessories, a blouse to turn a sleeveless dress into a pinafore/jumper dress, or a suit jacket. Sometimes I get more creative like wear a skirt over the bottom of the dress or use a coat dress as a long-line jacket. I’ve had female colleagues compliment me (with a touch of envy) about my “endless wardrobe”, but meanwhile I’m often wearing the same things, just in a different way. 😉

Quick question... Are you using the style terms romantic and feminine interchangeably? Or does feminine describe a specific clothing item whereas romantic describes that style type?

I really dislike polo neck sweaters, they hide a slender neck and make you look like you're choking, polo collar yes, not polo neck
Doesn’t work for me.
I need something pretty around my face or neck every day even if no one is likely to see me.
I would LOVE to have a few “high quality” basics, but I would keep them for best.
If you found what works for you and it's easy getting dressed Deirdre then you probably don't need it. But if you struggle with your wardrobe and getting dressed wherever you are going then you might want to rethink a capsule wardrobe.
