    I will never not find it funny that the only two proper fights we've ever seen Jogo in were against the only two people who could realistically bully him the way they did. If almost anybody else were to fight him (aside from maybe Yuta, Hakari, and Yuki) Jogo would have railed. Jogo having to fight Adult Gojo and 15 Finger Sukuna is like making Kenpachi fight Yamamoto, survive, and then fight Aizen. Like give him ANY other opponent and he would at the very least give a pretty good fight. But Gege had to give Jogo that respectful disrespect and match him up against the two most haxed mf's in JJK.

I think Hakari definitely has the physical power to be a threat to him but i don't know where he sits speed wise; lets not forget that jogo is pretty fast in his own right. I also think Yuta has better scaling and feats than hakari I mean naobito the second fastest sorcerer is literally scared of him and Yuta was able to straight up chase down itadori in base with a drawn katana.

    In the latest chapter of JJK, Gojo stated that he had learned Falling Blossom Emotion as a kid, implying he could use it against Jogo. I could argue about Simple Domain being in his toolkit, but maybe that's overstretching it. Maybe it won't even change a thing or maybe it gives Gojo a chance against Jogo.

    • @AskwhoQ
      @AskwhoQ Год назад +8

      Against Jogo simple domain probably negs his domain since the only characters we see who can strip simple domains are Kenjaku and Sukuna. Both are VERY proficient barrier users are top 3 and 2/1 respectively. Stripping away barriers isn’t a technique Jogo has displayed or implied to know how, mainly just a brawler. So simple domain would probably negate the worst of his domain.

      Teen Gojo never has a change against Jogo. What ever he has learned something at that time but he is still trash and almost gets killed by Toji "base 7 finger" Sukuna and Jogo power base "11 finger Sukuna".

    • @backbackback9845
      @backbackback9845 Год назад +8

      @@Gainpachapotracho Teen Gojo- prior to his awakening- was able to fend off a Toji Fushiguro with prep time, an individual that had set up an elaborate scheme to tire Satoru out.
      In terms of speed, we could argue that Teen Satoru is equal with this Toji who, in Shibuya, was able to blitz Dagon and is equal to Maki- one who can keep up with 15 Finger Meguna (albeit his CT attack output is at 10% due to Megumi's influence, said Meguna retains his speed and durability regardless of said suppression).
      Connecting the dots together, we should come up with a conclusion that Teen Gojo should be able to blitz Jogo given the speed feat I just mention earlier. Yes, said speed blitz won't last long until the latter uses his domain, but keep in mind Gojo has Falling Blossom Emotion.
      In terms of barrier techniques, it's important as well that a higher Cursed Energy overpowers the other. When Satoru uses FBE on Sukuna, it was stated that it only weakened the slashes due to Sukuna having a higher pool of Cursed Energy.
      Jogo is at most, around 9-10 fingers at best. However, for Satoru, we cannot say much if his CE is greater than Jogo's, as all we've been getting from statements in the manga is that Yuta's CE is greater than Gojo's, with Sukuna's being greater than Yuta's. However, his Six Eyes makes up for it by maximizing the usage of his CE that he can spam techniques without losing as much CE like any other sorcerer.
      Factoring the fact that he's at least a special grade sorcerer even at this age, it's safe to say that Teen Gojo has a greater pool of Cursed Energy than Jogo's.
      Why am I saying this? Well, if you actually read the whole thing, you'd know that a greater Cursed Energy means greater Output and, therefore, allows one's techniques to bypass the other. Given Gojo's Six Eyes, he should be able to use FBE at its fullest during the time Jogo has his domain. Once said Domain runs out, all Gojo has to do is beat him with Maximum Output Blue (which, mind you, he could spam even whilst worn out and tired by Toji, as he was about to use them against the Fly Heads had it not been for him realizing that Toji had gone away, which is a huge mistake).

    • @mattwayne9128
      @mattwayne9128 2 года назад +9

      1) His argument was that Jogo didn't care all that much whether they lived or not, not that him being incapable of killing them in one blow was justified.
      2) Jogo *did* oneshot them. He just didn't kill them (Maki specifically. Nanami was going to die anyway, Naobito did die)
      3) Maki is built different. I remember the story even specifically pointing this out as a possible explanation as to why she survived. It was made very clear that she was not supposed to, and only did because she's literally built different.
      4) This is a rubbish argument in the first place. If Toji "only" destroyed half of Nanami's body in one blow, leaving him near death but not dead yet, you wouldn't be criticising it, you'd be stunned at his power.
      I could remove all context from the situation and whine about Sukuna not one'shotting Megumi in their fight, but I won't, because I read the story and I know that it's in character for Sukuna to play with his opponents instead of killing them outright, the same way it's in character for Jogo to heavily underestimate his opponents, thus why he didn't use the appropriate amount of firepower to instantly kill the sorcerers (when we know for a fact that he does possess the firepower to do that).

    firstly i should say that i also think that jogo would win the fight against pre-awakened gojo. but there are several things that should be mentioned.
    1)jogo's speed. i really don't think that jogo is faster than toji. naoya had to constantly speed up by using projection sorcery multiple times in battle with awakened maki who is on toji's level (maybe SLIGHTLY lower just because she is 16 year girl and toji is 30+ year man). dagon said that naobito is faster than jogo, and naobito used his CT just 1 time from position when he stood still (so PS didn't have any acceleration before 1st frame of movements) and he didn't use it in the row like naoya to speed up exponentially. naoya's speed with couple of activatios of PS > maki's/toji's speed (toji was capable to RUN ON WATER and maki in the latest chapter PUSHED OFF THE FUCKING AIR). naobito's speed with 1 activation of PS > jogo's speed.
    2) jogo's domain. i agree that it will be the most difficult part of the fight to teen gojo, but there is 1 thing that y'all forgotten about: falling blossom emotion. the secret jujutsu art passed down in 3 big families that is used as counter-domain measure. of course it wouldn't work on domains which CT attacking not physically (mahito's for example), but jogo's domain is not like that. there's no way that precious heir of gojo family and future head of the clan was not taught this technique to protect himself against strong opponents.
    in conclusion: jogo still wins against teen gojo. and i think it still would happen in jogo's domain (when gojo is focused on FBE to protect himself from sure-hit attacks jogo can hit him physically like dagon did with naobito). but it would not be so easy to jogo as you say, he will barely survive this battle. actually gojo can even win under curtain circumstances, but it's unlikely.

      @prez.cookie980 9 месяцев назад

      You were right that Gojo does have Falling Blossom Emotion! However, two main issues with your assertion.
      1. Your scaling of Toji/Maki, Jogo, Naobito, and Naoya; is contentious. You assumed Naoya is as fast as Naobito, which he isn't, nor do we need to necessarily assume they're relative (although they may be). Secondly, Dagon only said that Naobito COULD be faster than Jogo. While Dagon's opinion shouldn't be dismissed, this should be understood that Naobito obviously isn't so significantly faster or otherwise it would've just been a clear statement.
      2. Falling Blossom Emotion is useful, but it truly only functions to draw out your life inside a domain. It's a better stalling tool than a flexible combative shield, and Jogo has the prerogative to continue assailing Gojo until he succumbs to injuries.
      So, personally I would still believe Jogo stays consistently above most characters in speed, somewhere between Toji and Naobito at their fastest. And, I don't think FBE makes a big difference in this fight

      The thing that makes Yuta, and copy techniques in general, so problematic when power-scaling is because there's no way for us to know just how many/what type of CTs Yuta has access to. We can assume that he doesn't have many outside of what he's shown seeing as he was in Africa for a year, but Gege could just as easily give Yuta a new CT and it would be justified based on what we know. It's one reason I'm not a big fan of copy techniques(one because it kind of takes away from other characters ex. Inumaki and 2 because it is very unpredictable and very easy to feel unrewarded/out of nowhere if the author doesn't do it right). I trust Gege with Yuta but still, this is one reason I have such a big problem with afo from MHA. I think not considering the capacity for growth of the characters to be an error, if they where to face off in the manga Jogo would prob. play with food, with Gojo being weaker than him but not being able to be harmed, Jogo would then open his domain and Gojo would know for sure he is to be dead, that would surely be a catalist ,not dissimular from Toji, to go after learning domanin espansion, Gojo would probably end up with an incomplete domain, ugly at best, but would have a chance at at least escaping, or do some serius damage if his domain could impair Jogo a little with an overflow of information.
    I think it's fair enough to take in consideration the combat sistem and an evolution grow that is implied to be similar to Megumi's and sorcerer of that caliber.
    Gojo strenght in his youth was the biggest hostacle to his growth, since he didn't need to become stronger he didn't have many chances to progress in spikes like a normal talented sorcer could, and we know that if Gojo Satoru has something, it is talent.

Sure, Gojo is much more LIKELY to improve, but we haven't seen Jogo be put in a situation where his only win condition is to improve mid-fight. I guess my point is we know what teen Gojo can become when put under the pressure to evolve or awaken, but we haven't seen Jogo improve at all really (that I'm aware of, i'm pretty behind in the manga but i have a general idea of the plot so far) so we can't know how he would scale if he did improve as drastically as Gojo did.

  • @snowboundwhale6860
    @snowboundwhale6860 11 месяцев назад

    That's a pretty fair conclusion. The gap between pre and post awakening Gojo is surprisingly large. No reversed cursed technique takes out basically everything except infinity and blue and makes them actually costly abilities he can't keep active at all times, since red and healing are reverse techniques and purple is made by combining red and blue.
    Just as a point of interest/ possible nit-pick, the output of red being twice that of blue is just the minimum threshold right? Because red is a reversed curse technique, requiring reverse cursed energy which is "positive energy", as opposed to regular cursed energy which is "negative energy". Reverse cursed energy is created by "multiplying cursed energy by itself", akin to multiplying a negative number with another negative number to get a positive number result. So if the minimum value blue can run at is -1 (since cursed energy is negative energy & has negative value), then to create red you'd need -1*-1, for a total of 1. It's still a minimum output of "1", but to get that positive value instead of a negative one it requires twice the input of cursed energy. It's not necessarily that red is always twice as strong as blue, just that the weakest red must have at least twice the cursed energy invested then that of the weakest blue because of it's nature as a reversed curse.

He did his best to make Gojo let his guard down before stabbing him. So basically, that entire “fight” happened with Gojo weakened a lot already. And it’s pretty much the only fight he had to show a little bit of what he could do. The previous ones weren’t even a contest for him. So I do think he’ll be able to damage Jogo.
      And you did make a big deal about Jogo’s maximum technique being able to damage 15 fingers Sukuna. But it doesn’t really matter when it comes to this fight because of the neutral state of infinity.
      Since Gojo knows he can’t use DE yet, he’d probably not mess around as much as he did. Seeing the massive curse energy reserves of Jogo, he’d go for the kill as soon as he could.
      If we’re going on the basis that Jogo doesn’t know anything about Gojo’s abilities, he’ll be flabbergasted after not being able to land the first blows against Gojo and he’d (Gojo) advantage of that fact.

    Apologies, I’m awful at writing in the comment section. I respect your videos, but I felt this one was a bit off and missing a lot of context
    In the fight against Toji Gojo was exhausted, and was caught off guard by Toji to begin the fight. Toji also had to use curse spirits to block his vision/distract him as soon as they’re were on an even playing field, similar to what Dagon did to Naobito.
    This is also 10 years in the past and I’m going to go out on a limb theorize that the Naobito being the fastest sorcerer (beside Gojo) still applies. Not only does Gojo use blue to enhance his speed (which he has access to), but he also able to track and counter Toji when his line of sight was not blocked. Doing this mind you while EXHAUSTED! This is why when Toji was asked the question who would win he didn’t really know.
    Speed:
    Toji > Naobito, Naobito (healthy) stated to be faster than Jojo.
    Gojo >Naobito >Jogo
    Gojo considered the strongest along with Geto, and I would assume this is also referencing speed when talking about Gojo, since Gojo does have access to blue.
    Also even though it does tax him to use infinity/blue, he was still able to do so for days!
    Lastly, all of Jogos curse techniques are useless expect his domain, and so far in the series you can say Jogo has probably the weakest domain shown (outside maybe the smallpox curse).
    Not to mentioned, I don’t think there’s anything that shows Jogo being A. As intelligent as Toji, and B. As tactical. I don’t think him “trapping” Gojo on a highway, is the same as Tojis Batman level planning.
    I do think Jogo is severely downplayed, but he hasn’t really shown anything that would give A FRESH GOJO too much trouble. Even at 18 when no red/purple or RCT.

However, teen Gojo's purple isn't as massive as the one he uses as an adult. Getting hit by purple doesn't guarantee instant death either(Hanami was able to survive getting grazed by it); Toji only died because he couldn't regenerate. @@rickojay7536 I’m sorry u feel that way, but I don’t see the same things u do when reading those chapters. Bear in mind toji said that he doesn’t know how a battle between him and teen Gojo would go if they just met on the field and fought. His intentions on tiring Gojo and distracting him was to make the fight as one sided as possible. He no diffed teen Gojo when he had prep time. It’s unlikely he would’ve lost without it, or even be mortally damaged at that. Jogo has many advantages in a fight that toji just doesn’t have. Jogo is a one sided stomp on Dagon no matter how u cut it. Outside domain he stomps like Dagon v naobito. And inside, jogo’s domain canonically speaking makes more sense for it to be more refined and win a domain clash between them. Gojo can’t rlly do anything against jogo’s domain. Even with falling blossom emotion or simple domain, Gojo still has his domain amps within his domain. Making him still significantly faster and stronger, and he can punch Gojo when he’s in his domain. Not to mention he can instantly create building destroying volcanos in his fight against adult Gojo, and multiple in his cleanup on naobito. Every attack he throws is enhanced by fire that immediately erupts any human he touches (other than Gojo). He also has the shikigami that use sound, which it isn’t implied that teen gojo could rlly defend against at that point since it’s not automatic and when it does become automatic, he still struggles to stop things like poisons. Yes, sound is not a poison so it’s still up in the air, so if u say that it doesn’t get thru infinity then oh well, he can still do a ton outside of that. Against toji tho, all of his attacks would land assuming they hit. I have reasons to think they do, and I think a fight between Jogo and toji is extreme dif on both sides. No I’m not talking zombie toji, I mean peak from the story perspective, the version that fought teen Gojo.

    I feel like it's a little bit unreasonable to not give Gojo simple domain at the very least, and it is mentioned that he DOES learn falling blossom whatever it is as a kid, so he would have that as well. I also think a lot of his strength weaknesses/durability weaknesses can be negated by cursed energy reinforcement, something that wasn't useful against Toji specifically since his katana ignores physical defenses and goes directly for the soul.
    It's also worth noting that Megumi scaled Toji to 3 fingers Sukuna in terms of speed, in the sense that they were both ridiculously faster than him. It's not REALLY a measurement. If somebody was 100 times faster than you, and another person was 1000 times faster than you, you would say they're rivals in speed from your perspective cause to you, they're both inconceivably fast.
    In regards to him dismissing the attack in Jogou's Domain as an adult, and whether he could do it as a teen, I have to say that it definitely leans on him being able to. Cursed energy(with exceptions related to emotion) is pretty consistent with a person. And even as a kid, Gojo knew how to lower his cursed energy excess drastically. It's obviously not to the degree he does as an adult: if it were, limitless would be permanent rather than 3 days, but it's still a ridiculous amount.
    The main change that Gojo underwent in regards to his enlightenment was figuring out reversed cursed technique, and applying the logic from it to his technique, allowing him to unlock half of his tool set that straight up wasn't there.
    Now, with that in mind, do I think Teen Gojo wins? Probably not? Like you said, he really doesn't have a good way to put Jogou down outside of hitting him with a comical amount of cursed energy (which is something he could *probably* do, but there isn't any feat of him doing so as a teen, and even though his adult punches shouldn't be that much stronger, I'm not going to try and quantify the strength of them since it'd be total guesswork), something he could probably eventually do even with the speed difference given his ability to more or less teleport. But Jogou is durable enough to take multiple hits, so this would require an absurd amount of assumption in terms of combat speed. I just felt like this video made the fight a lot more one sided than it is, almost in retaliation to how one sided in the other direction it is on discussion forums rn.

    • @ro.kn.2665
      @ro.kn.2665 10 месяцев назад

      Simple domain would probably not guard him against Jogo's domain's innate heat, also, it only negates the sure-hit, but a large enough projectile will still hit, even if as slow as the meteor, since even without the sure-hit, Gojo is still confined to the domain-barrier, in which coffin of the iron mmountain easily gets covered entriely by maximum meteor. Then again, Gojo did not only get cut by easily by the soul splitter, but also by a small, unnamed knife of Toji, as well as ISOH, even though none of those are stated to work around physical durability or CE-enhancement. (ISOH is stated to shut off an activated technique, not erase cursed energy.) Even more important, that rock that Jogo sent at Gojo was a means of gauging the latter's ability without infinity, if I remember correctly (certainly would make sense, since there is no reason for jogo to have made such a comparably weak move on Gojo, if even before his domain and the subsequent enhancement, he already demonstrated more destructive attacks.) In the end I just want to say that I don't even know if teen-gojo has any tool at all to deal with Jogo effectively. Most importantly; if we take the Jogo after his first fight with Gojo, then that version knows domain amplification, which would just give him a win-con, by bypassing the infinity without expanding a domain.

Jogo is faster than 3 finger sukuna but I don't see Jogo surviving malevolent shrine even at 3 fingers. Sukuna also has some of the best RCT in the series(literally brought yuji back from death), so I also don't think Jogo can output enough damage to permanently kill him. Sukuna also easily dodges maximum meteor seeing as everyone in shibuya managed to dodge it. To add on to all that, we still don't know sukunas CT(which can't be used much because it's pure speculation at this point). Example being him standing completely still and letting megumi try to hit him in the warehouse. #2 gege admits in the manga that a healthy naobito would have been able to react to jogos attack. The same naobito that toji could have killed along with the entire zenin clan at ANY TIME. On top of that once maki pulls up on 15 finger sukuna, she arguably performs better than jogo does by actually managing to punch him in the face. I do have a problem with Jogo above Toji in speed. As stated by the narrator, Toji = Maki. In chapter 213 / 214 ( one of the two ), it's seen that Maki is able to keep up with 15F Sukuna in speed while holding back, and even more after unleashing her full speed. 15F Sukuna at this point was only at 10% CT / CE output, not physical abilities or speed ( that would also be inconsistent, as Toji is stated to be stronger / faster than 3F Sukuna, and 10% speed 15F Sukuna is 1.5F Sukuna level, in which case, Maki should be blitzing this Sukuna since Toji = Maki. But this doesn't happen, and it's a lot more likely, and is also stated for Sukuna to be at 10% in CT / CE output. It would also make no sense for Megumi to be able to hinder Sukuna's speed with just his soul. ).
    Now, Maki is relative / equal to this level of speed, and Jogo is straight up getting blitzed by 15F Sukuna over and over again. This would mean that Jogo is much below Maki, and therefore Toji in speed, and relative / faster than Naobito.
    Edit: I still believe Jogo wins by the way.
