Dame man, got a bunch of them off a miner in really nice state, built 5 pc's with them for a profit and kept one to use myself. Gotte love the ex miner hate!
Don't feel bad, I also got overpriced cards at that time, and if you need to get one then there is nothing you can do, any card you would get back then will be way overpriced. At least now you sell yours for less but also the higher end models are selling really cheap in the second hand market
I was getting 4060 for $285 and 3060ti for $310. I took the 4060, bcz its newer. Dont know if my choice was right. But im kinda happy with the 4060, cuz i can game all day without worrying about the bill too much 😅.
It's not a bad choice on your case, when buying them new and with that price I would have probably gone with the RTX 4060 too. Where it is way better is when getting the RTX 3060 ti second hand, there you can have it around 200$ or even less, becoming a way better deal. The RTX 4060 is not bad, it's just that compared with the older GPUs the upgrade in performance is weak and the price should be way lower
The Forspoken test where not comparable, as even if they had the same preset applied it activated ray tracing on some of the cards, meaning some cards were running it with ray tracing while others had other settings without it, if you look closely you can see it in the test in the shadows that are different from one card to another, so decided to leave it out when I noticed while editing

Almost two year ago I bought the 3060ti for 600€ during the pandemic moment.

No undercoating, just a huge cooler and an open case so it has good cooling.

3060ti is not that much faster then 4060 in latest games at 1080p like 5 to 10%.because latest games are more optimized for newer cards.
