    How good is the little RX 7600, frequently coming out on top while using 20-25% less power than the 750 and 2080. Great show in raw grunt from the Arc GPU too.

      @teflonstestbench  9 месяцев назад +4

      Yup, i will be comparing the RX 7600 with the RTX 4060 soon, tho to be honest I think the RX 7600 is not a bad card, at least not as bad as some reviews said.

      @@teflonstestbench Oh I agree, I bought one on offer for £220 with a copy of Starfield, I've been impressed with it so far, it's definitely underrated and I can imagine it being the new RX 480 once that price falls a little more. I'd happily pay £200 for one for my second rig.

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yup, it seems like it has the performance of the RTX 4060 in raster with a little less power and for a lot less money, so as you say, in the future it will be a great option for budget builds

    • @Decenium

      I think nobody claimed it was bad perse, just too expensive for what it is, if it was released at 250 dollars the reviews would be super possitive, 230 and it would have been a nobrainer recommendation.@@teflonstestbench

      Usually Rx7600 costs almost 50% more than the arc a750 though..
      A750 price is lower than Rx 6600

    Hey man I’m deciding for second hand 2080(170-180us), 7600(180us), arc a750(175), or normal rx 6700 (non xt, 194us). Coming from a 1650 super. I will pair it with a ryzen 5600x. Main goal is gaming but I will do 3D render and heard Ray Tracing Helps so maybe 2080 would be best?

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  7 дней назад +1

      For that price I think the RX 7600 should be good, as it is more modern than the rtx 2080 and a little bit faster and for 1080p gaming it should be more than enough.
      Also depending on your editing software check on how it support each card vendor as some take advantage of the CUDA technology from Nvidia and maybe a card from them could be worth it even if it is slower in gaming.

    Do you think there is more room for the a750 to improve? No point in speculation but I'm very curious because here it kind of does impressive work, but could it ever get ahead of say the 2080?

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  8 месяцев назад +6

      Well, given the results of tests like the unigine superposition and time spy it's clear there is a lot of room for improvement, also in a lot of games you can see the GPU does not reach its max tdp by a long shot, so with driver optimization you can get a lot more performance out of it. The thing is how long will Intel keep working on it's drivers and what hardware limits might they reach. That said I personally think Intel will keep upgrading drivers at least a year or so more and keep improving performance while that, so yeah, I think it will probably reach the RTX 2080 and maybe even more.

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  9 месяцев назад +2

      If you have to choose between those two the RX 7600 will give way better performance than the 1660 Super, as the Nvidia option is way older, has less VRAM, and way worse performance.

      The best GPUs from those are the arc a770, rtx 4060 and Rx 7600 so I would get the one you can find the cheapest from those. With that CPU neither of those should bottleneck the CPU much

      I think the ARC a750 is a better option vs the RX 6600, so I would go for Intel there. Also you could consider second hand options, as for that budget you could maybe land some decent cards like a RTX 3060 ti or Rx 6700/xt

    I've just got an rx7600, and i'm having lots o problems with it.. In the benchmark it is okay, getting good score (in unigine i've got and 6294 and in time spy an 11048 gpu score), but playing games, idk why, its geting a bad performance.. valorant with less than 200fps avg, cs2 with less than 150fps avg, warzone dont even render the map sometimes.. idk what is going on.. before the rx7600 i had an 1660s, with the same pc, and got a lot higher performance on games.. :(

      What other parts you have on your pc? Maybe you could try a complete driver reinstall if you have problems, but also depending on your system maybe that performance might be correct even if it seems low

I've seen some reviews with similar components that got in valorant and cs2 350 fps avg.. what concerns me the most is warzone, avg 80 fps, but barely unplayable, when i drop the airplane, the map doesn't render and the gameplay is all laggy, sometimes it renders, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it only renders after going to the gulag... it's weird.. also i've used ddu and made a full reinstalal of the drivers but the situation continues..
      I rlly know that this GPU can deliver a lot more, hoping that this is maybe some driver problem.. i guess i'm unlucky for now

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  7 месяцев назад

      What hard drives do you have? Maybe a slow one could explain the loading problems, the low MHz RAM could also tho I don't think ram has that much impact there. But with that system the numbers on valorant and cs2 could be realistic given the problems with optimization games have these days specially on ones like warzone. Have you checked the CPU to see if there is thermal throttling or something running in the background?

    • @VitorRamos1234
      @VitorRamos1234 7 месяцев назад

      @@teflonstestbench 1 ssd of 240 gb and one HD of 1tb, the ssd is actually older than the HD, i've buy the HD in 2020 probably, what its weird to me is the fact that with weaker GPU's the games runs smoother.. And the thermal situation of my CPU is "okay" i guess, in 3dmark time spy, runs most of the time between 65 - 70celsius and the peak temperature was 81celsius... i dont know if there was something running in the background tho, the tests i've realized was only with the games open, but windows is a thing.. so i cant rlly say that there wasn't something running in the background 😅
      And see, the truth is that i've also tested in my brother PC, he's got an i5 of 11 generation, and the results on valorant and cs2 was the same D:, actually was a bit worse

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  7 месяцев назад

      If warzone is on the HDD that would be the reason for the slow loading of the map. Also if you say the GPU performs about the same on the other system then that is the regular performance you should expect. As I said before those numbers don't seem that bad for that hardware so maybe it's just game optimization. Lastly about the CPU temps, reaching +80c on that test it's a little bit alarming as the tests is really short and the CPU should not use enough power to get that hot that fast, so you should take a look into its temperatures and maybe get some new cooler or change the thermal paste as that is a really low power part that even with the most simple cooler should be colder.

    Why didn't you use XESS for a750 and DLSS for 2080 in other games that supports the technilogy?

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  6 месяцев назад +1

      Because it would be unfair to use different upscalers as they would have a different performance impact and image quality results. So I go for far or xess when I use them because those are universal. Also I don't usually use them to show the raw performance of the cards but might do some dlss centered videos or comparing them to FSR and xess.

    • @TRCtT
      @TRCtT 6 месяцев назад

      @teflonstestbench You should use the technology considering buying the cards is all about the features that is packed into it. I mean if I buy an Nvidia card, I won't be using Fsr if Dlss is available.

    Is there any screen tearing with ARC ?

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  4 месяца назад

      There should be the same that with any other card, as it deppends on frame synchronization done with the card and monitor, so as long as you use free sync or vsync or other similar techniques it should be good
