When we signed Zirkzee, I wondered if maybe we could or planned to play Bruno further back since he's a box to box and play Zirkzee behind the striker. If we sign another striker then I don't see why we can't do that, Bruno is always back and forth, puts in alot of tackles, can play passes forward etc.

The season after we finished 2nd under Ole we refused address the midfield. Signed Ronaldo which was unnecessary and went into another season with a McFred midfield, and things fell apart. We are repeating the same mistake by signing more forwards and failing to address our midfield, which is by far our weakest department currently.
Someone with sense to me I was excited Ronaldo came back but in hindsight it made no fucking sense
