      @@Stola2010 yeah sorry to hear that but that model a year did have problems the new ones don't have any of those problems that's why you're always urge people to do the homework always do research before you buy a vehicle doesn't matter what brand it is see if they're common for any problems because every manufacturer has some vehicles in the lineup they have problems with it doesn't matter what brand, if you do your homework before you buy you can find out what the problems are and avoid that year it's never let me down once.

    It’s a little disappointing that it appears to be exactly the same as the 2023-2024 models. I’m shopping for a compact SUV now. Ventilated seats, here in south Texas, is a big deal. CR-V doesn’t offer them on any trim level. Also, wish Honda had reduced NVH for 2025. Still, the hybrid is on my short list.

    I had a 22 Hyundai Tucson that’s was totaled by a falling tree. While I liked the Tucson and its tech features the build quality left a bit to be desired. Some minor paint issues, “hollow sounding doors,” etc. It drove fine and was reliable. Hyundai dealers suck though. Always trying to sell you something in service that’s not part pf Hyundai maintenance.
    So when it came time to replace the Tucson I test drove the CRV. I immediately decided that the CRV was a better small SUV. Build quality difference is significant inside and out. The little turbo 4 has better pickup than the NA Tucson. Just drives better. There’s some downsides - mainly the tech screen size and dash (not all digital). Amd the Honda app needs help.
    With that it was still the right decision on the CRV plus I got a killer deal on a 2025. $38.3 list and I was out the door at $37 with dealer and state fees (I live in a no sales tax state).

    • @rogerdillon8651
      @rogerdillon8651 10 дней назад +3

      @@Mariekr49 a 1.5 liter engine married to a turbo places the engine under too much internal pressure. Unfortunately, this will make it unlikely that the engine will achieve the legendary mileage of Honda’s naturally aspirated engines (200,000+ miles). Best advice if you own one is to change the oil often (much sooner than the Honda Maintenance Minder system indicates) and allow warm up and cool down time before shutting off the engine. Honda did not switch to this engine by choice, but because their hand was forced to in order to meet the government mandated emissions and fuel mileage standards. It’s not just Honda that is having to do this, but the other manufacturers as well.

      What most concerns me is they still use a CVT transmission even after all the horror stories. Just put an 8 speed auto in there
