Que lo que Norberis ¿ Como tu ta? Wooow its my first time seeing this vid Amiga . well I was practing my 🇩🇴 spanish . My dream leave my hometown Baltimore Maryland coming to 🇩🇴🇩🇴. Does 🇩🇴 have Amazon , UPS, & others when it come to send packes to 🇩🇴. Norberis to be honest I don't like Baltimore even I'm born & raised there. I can't wait to come to 🇩🇴
It depends on where the packages are coming from and what shipper you are using. If you are using a courier service for like Amazon packages, then more than likely, if you are shipping from the US, it goes to Miami first because the courier here all have offices in Miami. But if you use shippers likebUPS, FedEx, and DHL, then it's shipped directly from wherever their distribution center is.
And of course I can use email for all business mail need from the USA as must companies allow payment and receipt of payments to be done online thus removing any need for mail to be shipped. So Norberis is the 38%taxes on the total value of item’s purchased? So a $200 item will be $76 in taxes making a simple $200 transaction now $276 plus shipping charges. That’s extremely expensive. Plus what ever taxes paid when originally making purchase. Wow great info tho.
The tax is not on the total value of the shipment. The tax is typically on the specific value of the item. For example a TV that's $300 is subject to tax. Not 5 items totaling $300 are taxed. Also the percentage of tax is determined on the category of the item. Electronics are taxed higher than clothes. And yes 38% is high and they do it for reason so you can purchase in country. Which makes sense. They'd rather support the economy than import.
DR banks are no different than any bank I've used in the US. Check out my video on Opening a Bank Account. There are several I recommend. BanReservas, Popular, Scotia Bank, BHD, etc. It all comes down to preference.
If you already have the TV I recommend finding a shipping company that ships to DR. If you are ordering a TV from Amazon I recommend companies like BM Cargo, TPack, EPS, ect to ship it.
What shipping companies are you referring to? I recommend googling courier companies in DR. Some off the top of my head are BM Cargo, T-Pack, CPS, Domex, Tainos, etc
@@NorberisR Okay, but I was also understanding that if you buy property in the DR, you can get the pensionado visa because you are an investor in the country. Norberis- I would check into that if I were you.
Hi Norberis, I'm planning on moving to DR with my teenage son, however he makes his money on StockXs reselling (he sells designer goods). Can he resell in DR? Can you do a video for ppl that already live in DR and need to ship to the U.S.?

Hi, Ms, Norberis.. I wanted to send a 50 inch tv to my finance in Higuey.. from Boston, Mass.. I need to know what do I have to do to get ship to Higuey, Dominican Republic.. thanks
Are you shipping it yourself or are you ordering from Amazon and they are shipping it. If you do it yourself you need to find a shipping company in your city. I'm sure Boston has one being so many Dominicans live there. If you buy from Amazon and they ship it I recommmend a registering with a shipping company in Miami. My husband and I use BM Cargo and T-Pack. Register online its free. You have to have an address in DR though. Once you register they provide you with there address in Miami along with your ID number and use this as the shipping address when you order. Your package will be sent to Miami and then shipped to the the location in DR. And all she has to do then is pick it up. It works lime clockwork. My husband has ordered many things on Amazon since we moved.
Hi, I live in Boston MA. My mom and sister uses a shipping company that send things directly to your house. I will get the information if you are interested. They send a box , depending the size is the price. You can send anything, my mom have a house there and she send everything you can imagine. Lol 😆 She just left to DR. Yesterday and she is going to be there for 2 weeks.
@@mrrelentless7593 they took all the information a left to you down 🙆♀️. Not sure how to send it. I even put my email ( in case you needed help ) but they took down the message.
Not sure what company you use but we've been here about 3 months now and my husband has ordered from Amazon over 10 time and it works like clock work. And nothing has taken month to get to him. The longest he's waited is 5 days and that's after it arrived at the shipping company. We use BM Cargo and TPack. No issues at all.
I'm trying to ship some things to my girlfriend in the Dominican Republic but she doesn't have an address do you have any ideas on how I can ship to her

You can try shipping it in a barrel but if they open your barrel you will have to pay the tax on the items. Sometime they open them and sometimes they don't.
You are absolutely right about dominican customer service.i always think that if someone opens q grocery store or something and demands an american standard of speed and good customer service , they would make a killing. Everything is slow and people aren't very friendl. Also I pray you all never have to deal with dominican customs/ aduanas. Den of thieves.

What value do they put on used items like pots and pans plates dishes blender old over 15 years old but in great shape usable
They don't put any value on it. Just ship it in through door to door shipping
I use MBE sounds like a similar service but they are cheaper
How do I contact MBE? Where can I find them? Do they have an office in the United States?
I will have to look into MBE. I see their locations here in Santo Domingo.

nope.
I want to send clothes to my girlfriend wen I shop online
