This video will give you a really good understanding of what you need to know when it comes to importing products from China from alibaba.com or any other supplier based in China into your country whether you're based in the UK or you're based in USA (or any other place around the world) after watching the video you have a better understanding of everything you need to know when it comes to finding a good supplier and importing products into your country to sell on your e-commerce store (eBay, Amazon or Shopify).

Hey for starters great video. The eori number if I was let's say import only 50 units of a product do you still need the number for small amounts??
Does it workout cheaper by paying everything separate, would you not recommend the DDP route to make things easier?
Do you always customize your products with a logo? or do you just order certain products and just resell them without branding? or do you do both? Do the items come exactly like a Nike shoe? In the shoe box and branded as Nike?
Can you tell me is the shipping price based on to your door as I once paid shipping cost in full from India and when I got Freight fowarder invoice it also included and extra £200 for delivery from port to my address....was this right or had I been had....this is what I don't understand as that is a big fee for transport on top of shipping fee. It totally put me off importing....your advice is good but will I get extra charge for warehouse storage at the port and delivery from the port or should all shipping fee include this. Thanks

I've been following your strategies and was starting to get sales on my eBay store until yesterday I Recieved an email from eBay that I no longer can buy or sell on the eBay, it happened to both of the stores I was running, I got money invested there it is showing in available funds but I Can't get it until my accounts gets reinstated, I've contacted eBay Support and they said they can't allow me to buy or sell on eBay, as I was violating community guidelines,
What can I possibly do now?

hello，Tony，I am a professional freight forwarder from China, when your goods need to be transported, you need to submit the EORI number to the supplier or your freight forwarder, if you use DDP service, they need this number to clear customs and pay taxes.
Note that EORI is an EU-issued number, other countries do not have EORI
Wow, this is awesome. I'm very new in the game and I had no clue about almost all of this, you definitely made it possible for me to keep going. I do have one issue though, I live in a moderately small apartment and it would be pretty difficult to buy a bunch of supply and keep it here, what do you recommend for a storage facility, or could I just purchase product as it's bought and have the overseas supplier send the item(s) to my customer?
They are not going to do that they will want you to commit to a large order that’s how your going to get the best price anyway. You will have to invest in a self storage unit my friend

If you have your own customs clearance agent, you can completely use DAP service, but if you are not familiar with import, I suggest you use DDP service (including customs clearance and tax), you just need to wait for the receipt
