@@GeekStreet Great review! May I ask, is there a better POE security camera with excellent night vision in 2022? That is super important as well as the non ghosting issue. Terrifying after a home invasion. Would low light camera be a better choice? I have lots of light around my home. Unfortunately, our rotten neighbors shine the laser light in our cameras IR rendering them useless, SO frustrating, Any recommendations would be most appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hi . I have a Reolink 4k camera system and works well on my home network LAN , and the phone must be on WiFi to be able and access the life camera.
But now have a question and can’t find anything related with my problem.
Hope you can suggest me what to do,
My camera on mobile phone as i mentioned earlier, works great but only from my WiFi on home network.
If i turn off the WiFi and try use 4G , the system stop working.
I was told Reolink is easy to setup and don’t need extra IP address or anything like that, because will pick automatically for first setup, wich yes hi did and all works fine, except about mobile connection on 4G don’t work, and don’t know what to do to make this works.

Just double check the specs of the camera to check they are the same, with a dome camera someone couldn't easily adjust but with the bullet camera if it was lower down, you could hit with a stick to point in another direction. My preference is the dome camera.

I have the older system and 8k is good, but spiders spin webs over the camera lens. A convex surface like what comes with the arlo ultra 4k cameras is needed or you will see nothing at night except the spider webs and spiders walking the lens. Or you will have to constantly clean the lens. The problem doesn't happen with arlo cameras, I have both types. Don't buy the older models because shadows from clouds will set the alarm off. You soon won't bother to respond to the hundreds of false alarms. Their domed model cameras might be a bit better with the spider web problem, but I have not tried them. This is why these product reviews are not really very helpful unless they are tested over time in a real situation.

It can definitely be a hassle.

I run my cables through holes that were already drilled into the floors for TV cables and run them underneath the house in the crawl space. My security dvr I have now has the small bnc cables so for now I ran them out of the window and the back door we don't really use. I just ordered one of these units so I will probably run the cables under the house or through the wall seeing how they should be much smaller overall and much easier to deal with.

There's many RaySharp OEMs out there, not just Reolink rebranding. All the consumer devices use the same cheap factory cameras rebranded.
There's not much I can do about the consumer junk filling landfills.
I do appreciate that you are giving better opinions on the system compared others getting sponsored. Not pointing fingers at the channel, a review I saw had the same quality of night vision and they called it top of the line. It's the quality I expect from a small 1/2.5" imaging sensor at 4k, or a top of the line camera in 2013.

Reolink equals GARBAGE! I have a 8 camera Reolink (REOLINK 4K Security Camera System), (16CH NVR with 3TB HDD RLK16-810B8-A). Using PoE IP Kit Cameras RLC-810A. Wish I never purchased this system. 4K cameras? I doubt it! Maybe 2K at best. I also had one camera fail completely in under 6 months. Bottom line....I can't even see vehicle license plates clearly at less than 50 feet away from cameras.
My very old Q-See QT534-4E4-5 4 Channel Full D1 Surveillance System with 4-960H/700TVL Cameras had better resolution.
These "paid" RUclips reviewers should be ashamed of themselves.

I have exactly the same system,as on this video.

Its cloud based connectivity, so really you have to do in addition. Unless your router or service provider is blocking. I've showed all the setup steps in the video and nothing in addition was required.
