Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Happy Birthday Ralph!!!!!
I'm looking to upgrade my Yamaha A-S801. Right now, I just have a couple of Martin Logan towers and a sub, but want to add a center channel and surround speakers now that I got a Sony Bravia TV. But my question is: Is there a way to have a system where you can easily switch from home theater mode with multiple channels to just running 2 channel + a sub in hi fi mode? What equipment would I need?
Good for dedicated 2 channel music system?
question...... Does Amps help also provide "clean" power or,, do I need an upgraded surge protector also that supplies "clean power" to all the units? Right now I have a Monster 1100 surge protector that says 2775 jules and provides clean power but, my left tower speaker does have a light buzzzing to it no matter if it's hooked into my emotiva or into my yamaha avr
That’s typically a “grounding” problem. Could be that the actual outlet isn’t grounded properly or that the tower is too close to another electrical source.
How are you liking your Emotiva, I am considering it, but I hear people complaining about lack of post warranty service.
They’ve been great and I’m sure, like any other manufacturer, the louder negative reviews outweigh the more positives.
