Now, this is how a review should look like. Information, opinion, comparison.
    This was great. Thanks.
I even wanted to compare XPA and M6x 250.5, so this was bullseye. :)

Thank you so much for this review!!! I just bought the Emotiva XPA-7 Gen 3 7 channel amplifier a few weeks ago to add to my own Marantz Cinema 40, and I also thought something was off, that they clashed a bit in tone, and that I was losing the awesome Marantz sound when using the Emotiva. I agree with panning issues you mention. Not sure if I can afford this particular amp, but the Marantz alone sounded better in my set up with my new Martin Logan Motion XT floor speakers that are all > 90 sensitivity so I may not need an additional amplifier - I'm still researching.

Yes unfortunately Emotiva has an completely different Tonality compare it to Cinema 40! Thx for the feedback.

@MadAudiooffocial - I just bought the Musical Fidelity MX6 250.11 and I’m noticing I can hear a low hum from it from my seating position. Does your 5 channel do that? If you get up close to it can you hear a low hum? I plugged it into a few other rooms with nothing else connected (no speaker wires or XLR or RCA cables) and it has a low hum in each room. Just wondering what if that’s normal or if something is wrong with mine. Maybe all power amplifiers do this but I don’t remember the Emotiva I sent back making a hum.

@@andygorton332 if you mean toroidal transformer noise yes that's normal, all my amplifier are like that, is most of the time coming from a not clean power input or DC components in it. Important is that you do not have noise coming from the speaker..

Hello, love the channel and your style of presentation and reviews. If you had a choice of a Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 and a Primare A35.8 to be used with a Lyngdorf MP 40 pre amp, both at the same price, which would you choose. I value your opinion.

Thank you very much, nice question but hard to answer since i still waiting a sample of the A35.8 from Primare. Hope to test it soon, Is a Class D beast but also 1500 buks more expensive compare it to the 250.7

Hope you get your hands on the Primare, i will be interesting to find out what you think of it. I can get the Primare for £600 more than a new Mx6 250.7. I think i would be mad not to go for it, otherwise i may regret on missing a great deal.@@MadAudiofficial

Hi, nice review! Is this the best combination of amp you have paired with the cinema 40, or have you other amps to recommend instead? I was thinking to pair a 3 channel amp with my Cinema 40, but 5 channels will also do👍

Thank you very much, best combo so far, would like in the future to test the Parasound A52+ and Primare A35.8, both more expensive!

Hello,I have a short question. Is it really worth buying ( is there a big difference. Musical Fidelity M6x 250. I have an Emotiva XGEN-3 power amplifier. I'm looking for a better amplifier that will sound very good in cinema and stereo. thanks in advance

Short answer is musical fidelity is much better.
Musical fidelity has been building amps for decades. The build quality is very good.
Emotiva is a brand that is still newer in the market and is still considered entry level.

Emotiva are fully balanced amps maybe it was a component match thing going on there

    • @markmcfeaters9116
      @markmcfeaters9116 5 месяцев назад

Emotiva is NOT fully balanced, you obviously have no clue to what fully balanced is.
Just because it may use a balanced style connector for input does not mean it's fully balanced lol😂.
All you beginners start out with emotive or the other entry level amps and then you all think your an expert.
Just like this reviewer, who knows nothing.

    Nothing personal.
    You must be newer.
Everyone newer usually starts off with this emotiva junk or other entry level junk.
Now your an expert and gonna make videos.
