My cat would do that to not in my face but belly, ties, breasts anything soft enough. I would have read scratches everywhere but he was sooo happy. I usually let him until the pain got to much to handle. I got him from people getting rid of their kittens way too young (better that, then a bag in the river so I took him even if I don’t approve) so he really had a need to knead. He was my companion for 14 years. I miss him so it hurts.
Someone needs to buy a scratching post for this cat to get out his kneading needs. I can only imagine that she has to Dremel or file smooth those claws regularly. Can't imagine her face being tough enough with that repeated scratching even if the cat was gentle.

That's how I felt when my cat Salem chose me. She used to belong to my stepdaughter's bf, but when they moved out I got to keep her. She latched onto me out of nowhere and she and I have been inseparable ever since. She is my soul cat.

@sumbunniii8721 Salem does that when she is in heat. She will attach to me and not let go for hours. She lays in my arms like a baby while I rub her belly looking in my eyes until she closes hers in contentment and purrs so loud you can hear it from space lol
She said she got him at a not so good time in her life. Bubby felt her pain and needed (kneaded ❤) to make sure she always felt loved. I absolutely love that. 😻😻😻

My family’s dog was like that too. She hated me as a child but once I did homeschool towards early-late middleschool and was in a very very dark place? She was attached to my hip. Rip my bestfriend 2007-2024.

My cat Zippy who I lost in April to cancer was the most clingy cat I have ever had. I loved him so much. He always needed to be near me,.on me..he wanted to be on my lap all the time. He slept on me or at the end of the bed. He used to paw at my face to wake me up in the morning. He followed me everywhere. Enjoy this because when they leave this world, you miss it.

That hit home. Had a cat that chose me when i was caring for him for several of my friends vacations. Thankfully my friend gave him to me for good when he stopped eating at her place for days the last time she came get him . He was only 4 and we had wonderful 13 years He was devoted to me and we loved each other deeply .. every single day of his life when I got up he would loudly greet me, stretch and come to me for head bumps (he didn’t do this greeting for anyone else ). Even on his final day where he could barely get up anymore. When he passed I told my husband I’d lost my best friend he was silent for a bit and said he could see that 💔🍂

I had a stage 5 clinger for 16 years. He was a street cat that I adopted. Unlike Bubby he loved everybody and never met a stranger. his need for snuggling was endless! savor your time with Bubby You will miss him forever someday. I miss my baby even 5 years ago.

So true. Mine was the biggest miss ever! I have two who want absolutely nothing to do with me except when I'm giving them food. They flinch if you go to touch them and have never sat on my lap or even on the couch if I'm there. They must have been traumatised as kittens. And one just stares at me like he's planning my demise😁. But I still love them to death.

The cats dont suck and its not a hit or miss, cats just can just tell if your a crappy person or not. If your a good person all cats will like you to some degree. If your a crappy person at your core cats wont respect you even if you feed them or are nice to them.
You can tell what a cat is like more often if you dont adopt them as kittens but it helps when people go to a shelter, and interact with an adult cat (they have a fully formed personality, unlike kittens) that is most affectionate and impressionable on them, rather than just 'getting a cat'. Also, if cats are fostered, people can get an account of the cat's personality from their foster family (e g: 'loves to cuddle for hours on my lap in front of the tv' or 'doesnt like to be picked up' etc

Oh. This is called making biscuits. It's something cats did as kittens to express milk from mama. They do it when they are older as an expression of love to their owner. He loves you, mama.

@@brenda9410 both cats that made biscuits on me were female, so it’s probably easier to get female cats to do it. My last female cat was soooo affectionate to the point where the second you sat down she was on your lap. So sad for what we did we didn’t deserve her 😓

This is sooo heart felt!! I’m trying to hold back tears because I lost my beautiful beloved Persian cat nearly three months ago. She became very sick.
I adopted her from a shelter 8 years ago and she was the prettiest and sweetest thing. She never hissed, bit or scratched (the many times I stepped on her because she was directly behind me for attention😬)or scratched up furniture. She had a lot of love and patience with me. 😅 She used to knead and paw at my face. 😢

I lost my Persian cat 36+ years ago and I still miss her to this day.. Monday was her name. I only have 1 picture of her and I cherish it wit my life.

I got my cats as a troubled teen & im pretty sure they’re the reason im alive. So many sus things I didn’t do bc I had to take care of my cats. Like I’d meet random ppl who wanted me to go to Vegas with them and bc I made bad choices, it literally took me needing to go home to my cats to stop me from going with them. Like there were so many things I didn’t do bc of those cats.

I have a kneader too. Shadow is very affectionate, but she kneads my body and head butts my face, rubs her face on me and then gives me love nips. Her brother passed away on 12/23/2024. I really miss him. He was a lover too. Gave me smooches first thing in the morning and was a lap cat. When you are loved by a cat, you are truly loved.

one of stray cat come to my backyard for past few weeks i call him dodo i feed him and he can look from one eye only other is infected and i put eye drops everyday in her eyes to ease the pain.God creatures are to be treated with love and respect.after feeding i give him water or milk.i thank God for blessing me the love for animals. The kneading they do is when they are nursing, to help express mother's milk as tiny kittens so basically her face is a pacifier. It usually means he was weaned too early.
All cats do this to an extent byt if intense - its as you say. Left mom to early.
Most cats leave the mom too early but that's just my opinion idk if it's a fact 😄

That is one reason kittens knead but there are several others reasons once they're cats.
@@ee1ena The standard amount of time kittens are taken away from their moms are 8 weeks. Many vets and professionals often say it should be 10 to 12 weeks, but most people go by the 8 week rule. As someone who has done foster care, I will wait until it's been at least 10 weeks old before finding them home.

My two cats were found in different times of my life. My orange cat just showed up at our house. After looking and realizing she didn’t have a home, we took her in. They really do show up when you need them most. I always say God sent them to me, He knew what I needed at just the right time. I’m so happy Bubby came into her life when she wasn’t doing so well. Animals are truly a blessing.

Hes a brown tabby. Its not natural to be indoors. Tabby cats need to explore outdoors.

Please hug, kiss, dance and love this kitty. Mine looked and acted the same way. When he died I missed him so much. I regretted every time I pushed him off the bed with my feet because he grew so big.

My cat is this way and this is my biggest fear oh my god we been thru so much…& are so deeply connected. I feel like she was human in past life, it’s weird. She even makes eye contact when talking & it’s just so …human like idk
So happy you got him a friend! Truth is, especially if you work outside of home, a cat needs company during those long hours when you're gone. Nowadays people are strongly encouraged to adopt two kiddies, they're so much happier that way!
I miss my Honey Butt. I'm a 46 year old cuddling a blanket like it's a cat. I miss his hugs, snores, purrs, bunny feet, lemur toes, kneadiness, and love in my life. That part she said about getting him at a rough stage and him helping her get out of her head hits me. I'm still in a rough stage, but without the love of my life. Everything's empty.

@@jesmey4902 Thank you. I've been broke since 2020, the year I lost my job and had no business rescuing him, and blame myself for his passing because of that even if he was at least 15 years old. I want to be able to afford the care another cat would need.
I understand the sentiment all too well. I miss my old roommate’s cat. I miss hanging out with someone when I got home. I now live by myself and not having someone in my life is dreadful. I don’t have the space for a cat. I am also going to be jobless soon. To be fair. I did quit my job. Only cause I cannot work night time anymore.

Chihuahuas make wonderful companions. They are easy to care for and require little grooming since the long-haired Chihuahuas' coats do not tangle easily. Being a small breed, they also have lower food requirements compared to larger dogs. Chihuahuas can be territorial, affectionate, and very attached to their owners. How long have you had your Chihuahua?
I have a senior who is clingy as well. She seemed confused by petting and affection and I suspect she hadn't much interaction with her former people. Now that she's figured out this whole being loved thing there's no end to it. I have her right in my face, especially at bed time.
Sometimes I'm glad when she hops off the bed and goes to a cooler spot. But I do love her.
She's a little love bug it sounds like. My boy had to be put to sleep last October. He was a love bug and I miss him so so so much.
