You just saved this disabled veteran a lot of money! Thank You for sharing this video!! There is no telling how much money your going to save for people like myself! @@clutchergarage I have an 07 4wd 3.7 Colorado and the total miles odometer went to 6 lines but the trip odometer stayed working. Next day the total mile odometer started over at zero and counting. Dealer wants $200 to download the true mileage but said maybe the BCM or cluster would need replacement. Is there any way to find out if either is bad without the dealer? I would just a soon get a used one from ebay and replace it myself. Are the 4 bolts 7mm? will a 3/8 work on them or need a 7mm? six side or 12 side? Thanks brother for any help
You Rock man, I was thinking that I was going to have to take it to the mechanic to fix but I just got one off eBay and watch the video and now I'm ready to tackle it! Stupid speedometer gauge had me doing 100 at stop signs. 😡
I used you video to find out how to get the cluster out, but my Colorado's speedometer cable is screaming like a banshee. Would y'all have any idea how to stop that racket.
Is it possible to rempve the clear glass or plastic? Mine got dust inside and i wanted to see if it is possible to remove the clear part to clean insode of it
@clutchergarage9591 unfortunately it did not. It went to the mileage the used cluster had which is higher. Is there a trick to getting it reset or do you know it it can be reprogrammed?
Salvador Ramos on that new of a model I would imagine that they are soldered. I had an 04 Silverado a while back and changed the odometer LEDs to blue and they had to be soldered and these Colorado’s came out the same year model my truck did. So I’m not 100% sure but I’m pretty positive they are soldered.
Very Good Video !!! A+++
John Wilson thank you sir!

Thank you... it is an absolute certainty I would have broken something (definitely that electrical connector) had I not watched this video first. 👍
Nice!... I was wondering how that stupid little clip was working on the back of the speedo cluster👍

This helped me so much thank you!
How did you fix it my thasent torn on
That thing you didn't know what it was is a GPS tracker. Most likely installed by the previous owner. I would unplug it.
Did you have to get it reprogrammed
I still don't have light on

Did you figure out how to do that? Im looking for the exact same thing. And I can’t seem to find any videos on that
What if the odometer doesn't update to the mileage my truck has?
It should automatically update

What year model is it? You could go to a local gm dealership and they can pull it from the ECM
2008 and replacement odometer came from 2008. I will touch base with a local dealer. Thank you for your help.
Did you go to the dealership and get it updated?
Been having this issue for over a year now
Nice video
Any issues after the installation? Or No need to use a scanner tool to program anything?
Isaac Martinez no issues at all.
Do you need to reprogram the cluster on the H3 ?? Or it will read as normal
Should be plug and play like this one.
Can you tell me. If I want to replace the light bulbs. Are they sutter?

Probably an old GPS Module for a small car dealer to be honest...
I need to get the top dash off and I can’t get it off
Like my dash won’t budge at all
