I love creek and river fishing here in Georgia.. Every time I go, the river or creek has changed.. keeps it interesting and fun.. Largemouth, spots, shoal, and althama bass .... love it !!
@THEKACK123 Here in Georgia, I have better luck on the local rivers than on my hometown lake.. I catch a lot of spots, and even 20" bass on the rivers here.
@BeatlePhillips me and my kayak bass buddies fished the Flint a couple of months ago.. I caught 12 shoal bass , mostly on a rapala shad rap jerk bait.. it was right after hurricane helene had hit.. current was a little rough in places.. but yes, no better therapy in the world.!!
Wow the fog! Here I am with my standard coffee and Taquitos (the pups need their share!) Watching your latest adventure before I head out for a notary signing. Best way to start a Monday 😊 Amazing how you were able to find healthy bass with a bit of fight. You proved that bass are fickle, but they'll go after anything. Very 😎 when the water is clear enough to be able to see the bass chase your lure.
Good morning sir what a way to wake up in the morning and watch another river fishing adventure! Absolutely love these videos anytime you can escape the world and set out on a river anywhere in this country and find fish is epic! Would love to see a camping out adventure with you and the boys fishing for done small mouth! Thank you Greg appreciate your time spent on editing and uploading these type of content just a little bit more! Tight lines take care and God bless!
Thanks Greg (and I see you also had the Jack Links with you!) for this video. In another 3 months (here in Arkansas), everybody will be "Hittin' the Cricks" around here.
Great video, the small backwater is so different. Can we get a 2024 season recap video this year? It’s so fun to see the costs of entries/winnings/travel etc.
Seems like every video has a lesson, at least for me. You casting accuracy has inspired me to get better!! Pretty impressive!! Happy Thanksgiving Greg!!
Love the videos bro. Helps me get through the work week. Gives me something to look forward to on the weekends. The slayer max 10 is an awesome kayak. Love mine!
Greg you need to come up with design and build a retractable four-wheel drive system for that little kayak... that way once you get to them shallow spots...... drop the four-wheel drive up motor over back in the deeper water for a tractor four-wheel drive.. I know one incredible idea...... actually it's a 2 billion dollar idea..🤙😀😃👏💯
Area gets pretty pressured. Also alot of crappie fisherman fish where the rivers merge, I'm sure alot of them keep any bass they get as bycatch as well. Surprised you didn't pick up any striper on that swimbait. Some tanks out there.
Hey Greg, I always see you throw a ton of jigs, spinnerbaits, and chatterbaits, but I can't recall seeing you throw a swim jig much, if ever. It seems to me like it could be a big part of the equation when you're going back and forth between the other 3 and having mixed results. Just a thought. I fricken love your channel dude, keep it up!
I don't know if where you're fishing is considered part of the Delta but having a kayak dedicated to the Delta now seems like a pretty good idea given the invasive mussell issue....
The way you man handle your line makes me wanna switch to 20 pound trilene, i use 4 pound test and 6 pound test for all my application, i could grab the line like you but I know every so often itll snap but itd be way faster then positioning the bass to kayak flip him lol
I dont ever remember you throwing a lipless crankbait. Why dont you throw more of those in the rocky deep reservoirs during tournaments? Seems like a good search pattern for places like Shasta.
I noticed you caught a few Alabama spotted bass. Have any of them shown up in the delta? Wondering if the tide keeps them in the rivers. Love your videos Greg! Come to NC and I’ll get you on some crazy big Red Drum, big Flounder and Largemouth all in the same creeks!
That would be fun and i might actually have a trip planned there next year! Definitely spots and smallies in the delta but i've noticed they're more towards sacramento
@Well if you come and have a few extra days let me know in advance. I guide and fish a lot of tournaments but if you’re here, I’ll point you in a very good direction if you’re in the middle of the state or eastern.
Hey Greg…another interesting video. Question for you…I need to protect my multiple rods and especially the tips from transport damage. I noticed you had all six rods with some type of orange “sleeve” for the tips. Is that a retail item or a diy? Thanks.
Greg when you're launching your kayak there, I think I know where you're at, it's right off the dock right? How are you launching, bow first or stern first with the wheels so it's a more controlled drop?
Greg, you're fortunate enough to have multiple kayaks so I would highly recommend getting one of them cleaned and dried now if you plan to fish lakes this year. Probably are going to want to get it tournament ready. To make your life easier this coming season it's probably going to be a good idea to have 1 kayak for the delta and 1 for everything else!
@@dardarrelt.7222 personally never tried one but everyone I know says it’s one of the most stable kayaks on the market. I personally own a Oldtown Sportsman 106(very stable / stand all day stable). When I was in the market for a kayak at the time they didn’t have any native kayaks in stock in my area, I couldn’t wait 4 months(During Covid) so I bought the Oldtown. Let’s just say my next kayak will be a Native titan X 12.5 if Oldtown doesn’t come up with a new design this year, Oldtown rudder system isn’t the best design. Native listens to the consumers and updates their design based on the consumers needs( native is made for tournaments / accessories : personal preferences )
Just came here to say tackle warehouse has the worst black Friday sales of all time. I miss the good ole days when you could actually get deals from decent brands this time of year. Now a days any brand that even worth a penny is excluded from the sale.

For California lakes and the delta are good, but our creeks and rivers aren't super great for fishing.
@THEKACK123 Here in Georgia, I have better luck on the local rivers than on my hometown lake.. I catch a lot of spots, and even 20" bass on the rivers here.
I primarily fish the Flint River for shoal bass. There’s just something about it that puts my soul at peace.
@@THEKACK123 Yes, please keep spreading that info. Keep the rivers and creeks a secret!

I will take them! it's definitely slowing down here especially with this weather we're getting!
Lets go. Time to sit back and enjoy GB
Tough day for me today. Your video put me in a good place. Thanks.
Glad to hear man. be well.
Sorry to hear this. Hope your day gets, or got, better.
Just went to the Cosumnes, really tough fishing. You made it happen. Thanks for sharing this adventure.
Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for taking us with you! Enjoyed it.
happy thanksgiving!
Awesome Slayer Max 10 and catching content GB! Monday is my day off and it’s great to start it by checking out your content!
thank you sir!
Fresh coffee and a new video, it's gonna be a good day.
my goto spot in the summer. lotta fish stacked by the bend by I-5
Great trip Greg. Back to simplicity. It's nice having a small craft, for those little rivers. 😎 💯
always a nice change of pace to take out the smaller rig👊
That looks like a lot of fun. I forget California has small creek fishing.
Cool morning..cool fish..and another cool video by Mr Blanchard 👍
Enjoyed the video, back waters were productive and had a lot of cover.... Thanks Greg for sharing, got my daily fishing fix!!
This place is so epic...jelly

Jack links has some tasty jerky!
lol I love that you call the slayer 10.5 a small kayak. I think it’s a more if a normal boat. The titan is massive
after being int the titan mainly it seems really small lol
@ I could see that

Man I cannot wait to get my Native!! The goal is for next spring. I'm just undecided on a 10.5 or 12.5. But it's a TitanX for sure!!
I have the 12 and it's nice and all but it's heavy... I'm ready to down grade to the 10.5...
I would prefer the 10.5, but I'm 6'4" and 220. That's why I'm leaning toward the 12.5
you'll love it! I'd say get the 12.5 and a small trailer and you'll be good to go!
Pretty chill sesh. Nice beats. Cheers
Spinner bait has been my best bait as of late too
Great vidieo like allways. You the man.
Wonderful trip! Thanks for sharing with us!
Thats my kind of fishing!
A peaceful day of fishing 🎣🌟,
put a metal flasher in front of the crank bait, see what happens 🤗
Excellent footage and always great content.
Love the keel guard GB 😂 thats how I've didn't it for a minute.

Can someone tell me the name of the knot around 4:40 of this video. I have seen several of the pros use this knot.
Jimmy Houston knot
Guarantee that was a salmon you first hooked. Usually happen to me at this time of the year over there
What is the knot called that you tied that glide with?
How long is the bed of your truck?

Bet that was a salmon you snagged with the rat l trap same spot you got em on the a rig hahahaha I bet there is a ton up there this year
You probably get this question a lot but what is that strap called at the beginning where you’re carrying all your rods together?
Bet
Hey Greg, what size is the jig head you're throwing, looks like a football head too or am I mistaking?
What lb test do you use? Or you got back and fourth
Is this in the delta? Is this spot near Stockton or Sacramento
I feel like I'd lose every jig i casted in a place like that
Hello sir,,may i ask what is the length of your kayak..ty

3:35 is that a Donald Trump impersonation “spinnerbait” 🤣
I've had that happen with a spinner bait. Just broke right off.
