- Rip Leslie West & Felix Pappalardi but their legacy lives on. Support those great artists by buying their work and go to their gigs if possible .

Corky, Dino, Ginger, Charlie, Ringo and Neal. thank you all
Richie played with so many people. Been around a long time. Great showman!
Always liked his playing he is the reason for my cowbell ,hell of a drummer
I love how the camera stays on the two drunks rather than Corky LOL!!!!!
Rip Leslie West & Felix Pappalardi 😍😪
RIP
This guitarist is named Richie Scarlet
Corky carries the song.
He does ! One of my favorite songs ! Sad I never saw Leslie West together with Corky on stage .But these moments were priceless and glad I recorded them so everyone can enjoy them over and over again .
Corky was fantastic. I agree...❤️
So these are playing a local festival with Arthur Brown! Be rude not to go eh!
Yeah. Cool. Long live Leslie. The slowest, heaviest guitarist of them all.
His fingers were so fat, that he had to linger on each note very LOONG. That's how he developed that sensitive, bluesy timing...
There is nobody who can imitate Leslie West . May he never been forgotten. Rip.
@@Chappomusic Yes. Leslie was another kind of musician. He held on to a note so long, that we were sure to understand the message behind it.
Sure. Another heavy kicker is "Stormy Monday" from Isle of Wight (I think).
In the beginning I didn't catch it, but after a while I realised how beautiful that whole song, or composition, really is.
It's absolutely very deep.
A funny note: when Mountain formed in early 1969, they were aiming at playing rock "at the same high level as Free", which was then considered a HQ band.
Well, Free was obviously a fantastic group, but perhaps lost some quality when Paul Kossoff went into opium heaven...
Free wrote dozens of songs which are classics today, I think, and perhaps Kossoff was the motor of it all...
@@pekkaastrom7346I agree , Sometimes I wonder if there were no drugs around if the songs would have been that good or less.
