For you guys to make that work without a keyboard is simply astounding.. That Trilogy album is a masterpiece, Well done Paul!
Thanks so much Michael 🙂
Ditto!
W/O keyboards and Vocals, remarkable
The bass played the left hand and the guitar played the right hand. Both covered the vocal lines. You two are top-notch musicians.
I've seen this lineup 4 times what an incredible show
Well.... for the first 30 seconds I wasn't convinced this would work without keyboards... but wow! Mind (and ears) blown! Well done guys!
Thanks so much, glad we came through for you! 🙂
Unbelievable! Keith was my favorite piano/keyboard player ever. I'm a pianist/keyboard player and I tried playing Trilogy when I was in high school, when the record (!) first came out. I had to stop and start the record player to get a few bars at a time so I could play it. I didn't have a synthesizer, but I do now, since I've been in bands for many years. This is incredible. I met Keith backstage after a concert in Tarrytown NY. I am positive he would absolutely love this performance, and Carl is still the man! Everyone here is super talented. Thank you! My favorite ELP piece. I'm going to send a copy of this to my brother, who grew up on Trilogy as I did. Many thanks!
Never thought it could be replicated without keyboards. Bravo!!
Carl Palmer is still a Human Drum Machine!!!!! This Band has Kieth, and Greg smiling with pride in Heaven!!! B R A V O!!!!!!!!!!
Stunning to watch Carl at 73 with the same energy as 50 years ago...
Oh boy ! Amazing ! Carl still has it !!!
As a long time ELP fan (the earlier the better) I am amazed, floored of the musicianship of guitar and bass. Of course we all know about Mr. Palmer. To replicate ELPs music the way these two have is phenomenal . Nice to see, and seems like its effortless playing , a sign of genius. Totally enjoyed the performance.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words. ❤️
@@PaulBielatowicz Your welcome, thanks for the reply.
The bass played the left hand and the guitar played the right hand. Both covered the vocal lines. Top-notch musicians.
Paul is just a freak of nature on the guitar! FFSake!! Genius!!
Just saw the group in Michigan Sunday night. November 2023. Very impressed with the whole show. Guitarist and bassist top notch musicians and they both seemed very geeked to be playing with Mr. Palmer. Don’t miss this tour! Satisfaction guaranteed.
I never believed in my life to see and hear such incredible artists ...
This is so great. You are all such talented musicians. Carl Palmer being the legend he is knows how to pick out the best musicians.
Thanks so much Trace 🙂
Carl, you make me Cry for love..❤❤😢😢. Thaks Carl.....Thanks Carl....is my favorite !!!!OMG Amazing Performance
Paul, you are a genius representing the 21st century. I once again felt the overwhelming emotion of Emerson's performance when I first heard EL&P. You have incorporated tap playing into your musical background to such an extent that you have transformed the guitar into an instrument no different from a keyboard. Debussy's Clair de lune, which you play, is also a highly musical work. I would like to thank you for getting to know you so late in my life.
Now this was epic🤘. Carl Palmer doesn’t get much attention. Totally underrated.
Thanks Laurence, glad you enjoyed it :)
Carl, Paul, and Simon (Carl Palmer, ELP Legacy) is a must see show live. All incredible musicians.
Thanks so much Tim ❤️
I have to keep coming back to this composition…intense ✨🙏✨
It is an amazing piece! Definitely one of my favourites to play and listen to
I'm speechless.
Paul Bielatowicz, the one and the only.
Thanks Bukek :)
Superb, impressed, I think Keith would have loved your skills and guitarist interpretation. Just wow!
Thanks so much Evert. I think Keith watched one of our shows via facetime once - his son, Aaron came to a show and had his dad on facetime for the show. Unfortunately he never came to any of our shows himself
@@PaulBielatowicz thx for your reaction. I really like to hear this. Will you guys come to the Netherlands again? That's a long time ago ;)
Great performance
I saw ELP in San Diego. With his band later at Baja Prog Festival. Both great shows
Ah I remember the Baja Prog show well - that was my first time across the Atlantic.
@@PaulBielatowicz I think was 2005. You can find that concert here in youtube.
I may have requested you guys do this a few years ago......So nice to see you play it live !!! Excellent !!!
I grew up on ELP when my brother had Brain Salad Surgery. I still love that EPIC album and also all of ELP works.
Don't worry...I LOVE YOU GUYS just as much !!! A very lovely tribute to Greg and Keith.
Oh yea, I also love Rachel Flowers too. Cheers Paul, Simon and Carl !!! (And Chris Notto).
All 3 of the absolute musical prodigies, incredible!
OMG….outrageous- takes my breath away😵
Thanks so much Astrid 🙂
well done . true musicians
yeah, you guys are GREAT.
anyone else would've gotten a Keith copycat on keys or such, but you REINVENT ELP.
fantastic.
No excuse for how good you guys are.
Thank you so much!
That was wild! Trilogy has always been my favorite 💕 Brilliant rendition… and the ability to pull it off without keyboards is astonishing.
Thanks so much Pallas 🙂
What fun! A big smile on my face at 4 in the morning 😄
Haha great! Depending on how loud you played it, I your neighbours were smiling too!
Can't wait to see you in Belgium in a couple of weeks.
I'm so sorry those shows were cancelled, I was really looking forward to the European tour - sadly all but the UK dates were cancelled. Very disappointing 😢
Не стареющий, всегда молодой , Карл Палмер ! Браво ELP .
Very true!

Thanks so much Lorraine :)

Thanks very much :)
Fantastic! I saw ELP live 7 times, Legacy once. I can't wait to make it 2. Southern Arizona needs some good music. And you are it!
Thanks David! Hope to see you soon!
Really captured one of the best Trilogy shows! Bravo my friend.
Thanks Marc 🙂
fuckin carl palmer, still kickin ass , youngbloods take notes !

Utterly superb. Three brilliant musicians working together to make a wonderful band and music that becomes far more than the sum of its parts. Congratulations.
Thank you so much Chris! 🙂
Sounds great !!!
Love the instrumental interpretation.
Effing magnificent!!! This is the first time I've heard you guys do this particular piece. It wasn't easy for me to keep from singing along on the Greg Lake vocal parts.
Amazing and incredible
Thanks so much 🙂
Carl right on the money... as usual. Great to see this excellent camera work.
Thanks so much!
I have seen (and met them all on about five occasions) in UK. The musicians are excellent and entertaining. Got their albums, too. Looking forward to the next concert,😁
Thanks so much Patricia. Hope to see you on our U.K. tour in a few months 🙂
Awesome keep up the great work
Seen you guys in ohio two times now. Met Paul with bumblefoot ( got a video/pic of them making goofy faces with us ) keep up the fantastic work guys!
Haha very cool. Bumblefoot is such a great guy… goofy faces sounds a lot like us!
Beautiful !

Excellent. Can't wait to see you guys in what about a week and a half.
Looking forward to it too! It’ll be good to be out on the road again
@@PaulBielatowicz it's a great bill, you guys with Alan Parsons, who I haven't seen in over 30 years. I last saw you guys in Bethel Woods with the Royal Affair Tour with Yes, UK, Asia, and...?
@@RichieG yeah, AP is great! We played with him & his band a few years ago. Looking forward to doing it again. Ah Woodstock - what a memorable gig that was!
brilliant adaption paul, love the synth guitar bits, mirroring what keith originaly played on moog.
Thanks so much :)
FANTASTIC!!
Thanks Harry :)
I'm speechless. Truly amazing work by all of you!
Thanks so much Jeff 🙂

Wow, really amazing talent this trio and an extraordinary composition, but sorry guys I still miss Keith and Greg, RIP
I think you, ve missed the point.

We miss them too 😢
Very cool Paul
That's insanely good!!
Thanks very much Nik :)
Wow!! Blown away! Bravo!
Thanks so much! 🙂
Saw them a few years ago and they were great. So nice Carl is keeping the music alive.
Thanks Paul! Glad you enjoyed the show you saw
Absolutely BRILLIANT 🥁🎸🔥❤️ I would love to see you guys play this live at the next concert on January 30 Ft Lauderdale
Unfortunately I don’t think this is on the setlist Andrea 😢
@@PaulBielatowicz No problem Paul. Anything you guys play will be absolutely sensational, as long as there’s a 13th cord somewhere 😂😂 Maybe I’ll catch it in a future concert someday. In the meantime there’s always this video 😁🎸🔥
Cool!!!
Thanks Leo :)
Simply amazing!!
Thanks so much!
I was lucky enough to see the group play in Bologna Spring 2019 before the pandemic. This rendition of Trilogy is absolutely awesome but I can’t remember if it was included in the Bologna show. That was a great concert anyway.
Thanks so much Grazia. I can’t remember either. I’m guessing it was, but can’t be sure
@@PaulBielatowicz ❤️
Simply incredibile!!!@@
Magnificent!!! Fabulous performance by all of you! 🤯
Thanks very much!
Outstanding!
Thanks so much Rob :)
Wow! Incredible. 👏
Thanks so much!
meraviglia , 3 grandi
Grazie
Absolutely amazing. You may have captured the best night of many playing Trilogy.
Thanks WPP 🙂
Saw them do it live it was amazing
Thanks Phil, looking forward to doing this live again in November
Magnificent!
Thanks so much 🙂
Holy shit! How young Carl Palmer looks like. Like a 52 year old student😅
We will see us in May > Germany, Mannheim 7er Club 🎸🎸🥁👍
Wonderful! Really looking forward to it!
Bravissimi!!!
Top notch musicians at the top of their game. Ageless Carl hasn't lost a touch. He's still quite brilliant and amazing. I think Greg and Keith are smiling with approval from about. I seen this group several times over the years as I did with ELP. They're brilliant and the performance and music never gets old. Thank you so much Carl and bandmates for continuing the legacy. Long live Carl Palmer.
Thanks so much David 🙂
Браво!!!!!!!
Tuve el gusto de escuchar en mar del plata y quedé maravillada
Completely love it 🤟🤘👍👍
Thanks so much Alan
Takes guts and ingenuity to recreate his bands sound...recreating the work in this format. Wish Bruford did this more besides Earthworks
Bellissima sempre 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Bang on!
Thanks Paul 🙂
WOW! There's a drummer that holds his sticks in a traditional grip. You don't see that much anymore.
Absolutely! And gets an amazing sound doing it
Increíbles músicos.Descolla e guitarrista.Gran versión.Saludos desde Argentina.
Thank you so much ❤️
The tapping around 4:50 sounds like a Dream Theater track. Can't think which.
That’s Midi Guitar 2 doubling everything I play with a synth sound. I told Jordan Rudess to make sure John Petrucci doesn’t find out about that software! 😂
@@PaulBielatowicz hahahahaha
Excelente el trabajo del guitarrista y el bajista.
Thanks very much EJC :)
Like it
Thanks Mike
Carl remembered how to play again? Or good arthritis medicine? Seriously, this totally redeems the last ELP "performance".
WOW.
Why am I conjuring "Spinal Tap" while watching this?
Because "Oh my God" these go to 11?! 😂
Come to Australia! 😅
Гениально!
Thanks very much :)
❤
❤️
He continues to be the 2nd luckiest drummer alive.
I’m wracking my brain over who might be the 1st!
@@PaulBielatowicz Why, Richard Starkey of course.
BTW, great performance. You guys are killer!
