I don't see the similarities between the 494 piston filler and the converter 78g apart from the nib size
Moonman, these people do not stop, has released two new Duofoldesque M600S acrylics: **Purple** and **Interstellar Blue**.
Both for the price of one M600 celluloid checkerboard.
I saw that a couple of days ago. I uploaded some pics and info on the fountain pen discord. I will probably incorporate those with my next news video. There are several cool pens that I have found the last couple of days.
On uneven days, I think that I have too much Moonmans (or PenBbss or...). On even days, too few. This I supose is the law of the beast.
Today is 24 and I ordered the M600S 'Purple'. I have the Brown and the Blue-teal that I like a lot. I use both intensely for now without problems.
Hey Aaron, what was the name of the last pen you showed? The one with the rose gold trim? That one is very pretty and I’m interested in tracking down that one. Also, the Galaxy pen is gorgeous! I think I need that one too. Thanks for the videos!!

The PenBBS 494 looks a whole lot like the clear Wing Sung piston filler chrisrap52 reviewed 30th May. They even share the ergonomic grip facets which weren't on 78G these pens are inspired by. What are your thoughts on this?
The Wing Sung piston mechanism does not lock to prevent accidental turning. I'm interested to see whether the PenBBS will have this feature.
I have not received my 494 yet. It will be interesting to see the mechanics behind the pen and how well it works. I don't know if I will like the section design, but for the price it may be a steal.

That Wing Sung 699 is very strange. Why would they sell pens from the testing batch? I'm not sure I would buy a pre-production pen in this price-range. The chance of getting a pen that does not work properly is pretty high.
Interesting to see PenBBS trying to approach a lower-end market. I tried the other "budget" pen they made with the softer #5 nib and wasn't too fond of it. They have a good standing with turned acrylic high quality pens and they should keep at it.
I will do a review of the 699 when I receive it. It will be interesting to see how it performs.

Thanks Aaron. I recently bought the Fuliwen animal world huge size pen. It’s a Montrverde/Montegrappa style thing. Apart from the fact that the cap threads could be a bit smoother this is a great pen. Love it.
Is the section textured or is it a little slippery. I have looked at this one a few times and it looks really cool.

Cool new colours from PenBBS! I think that 308 in checkerboard is out of my price range. I've already got the same colour in a Moonman M600 which was pricey. Like you, I just received my Natami Inception yesterday. Only mine is in the red colour (more like Merlot or Burgundy). Unfortunately, mine came broken. Bobby is replacing it for me. @@obscene. I have not received mine yet, but it should be similar in size to a #5 nib. It looks a bit like a pilot 78g styled nib. When I get it i will see what the nib looks like and include in the review if it is swappable
