    Surely agree with you. These translucent pens look best when filled with eye dropper. Changing ink level is fun to watch

      I mean ink showing off is the reason de entre for a translucent/demonstrator pens.

    Great to see you back. Great video as always.
    I agree this pen would really benefit from a #6 nib. Also, the clip looks to be identical to the Opus 88 Koloro, perhaps they are sourcing the same parts.

    Love the matte /frosted finish-easy to see and pick out of the pen jar. Looks great with the Yama-budo ink! Agree with your assessment. Glad to see you back!

      It is available in normal demonstrator, and in the frosted finish, which is more unique.

    Enjoyed your review. I own an Opus 88 demonstrator and I agree, Tramol should’ve put a #6 nib on the pen. It would’ve made the pen more aesthetically pleasing. New subscriber!,

      Always should be size six nib, or greater, unless it is a very small pen.

    I personally would choose the opus 88 koloro demonstrator not because of any intellectual property issues rather due to the cool design, a Jowo #6 nib with a range of nib points, and somewhat "different" filling system, however the price tag is just way too high and in my opinion it's quite overpriced, I think it belongs in the $60-$70 price range for what you're getting and not the $100+.
    Edit: great review none the less and it's nice to see that you're back.

      Opus 88 has many nice pens, but bit pricey for what they are.

    I was wondering if you were still alive. Nice to see you are still live, kicking, and making fountain pen reviews. I almost bought this a few times.

    Hi Aaron, glad to see you are back.
    The hand instrument you are pointing with looks like a ball burnisher, are you a dentist???
    Thanks for the review.

      @aaronspenvideos4420  4 года назад +2

      I am not a dentist, but the burnisher works well for straightening bent nibs.

    Got the same model and color combo and eyedropped it. Used it a few times over the last few months. Looks good with red in it, but it's nothing special, especially the nib which seems pretty generic.

    Nice review! I agree, a #6 nib would be so much better. Out of curiosity, what was the blue ink peeking out at the bottom of your paper? It looks like a nice bright blue. :)
