I have the 670 in yellow with a standard nib. This pen does not post. No matter how I push on the cap it falls right off. There are variations in pens and a few 0.01mm will make a difference. BTW my 600s & 100s post OK. I would not use any of these pens posted as the balance is too far back for me. On the magnet, most steel nibs are stainless steel & many not magnetic, 18-8 stainless. PenBBS nibs are not magnetic. The holes in the base of nib are to reduce gold cost. I didn't see the feed as different from the standard injection molded feeds, has the typical number indicating mold cavity. For my money for a gold nib, I would buy a 74 which can be found around $100 in black. Many 3776s on Amazon for under $100 & free Prime shipping. Glad to see you review this pen. I enjoy the Wing Sung No. 6 steel two-tone nibs, they are a little soft.

Thanks for the review! Would you consider a comparison video with other gold nibs you own? There are very few reviews of the gold nib version of these types of pen so this is very helpful!

I have thought about talking about this pen compared to other gold nibs. May be a video for the future

Surprised with some of these fine bibs how smooth they are. Quality looks very good.

Thank for the video. For gold nib, as I read from one of the Wing Sung official webshop: "...the gold plated steel nib can be affected by magnet, because of the steel material core, but for some old stock nibs, due to the high content of nickle, it may be a weak magnetic effect" (I translated the chinese text personally and as literatly as possible). So just be carefull whether it is no effect or very weak effect. Best regard.

Thanks for the info. I am very confident that it is 14k gold. It has the same feel, bouncing, and softness as several of my 14k nibs. I wish I had one of the NOS nibs for comparison.

@@aaronspenvideos4420 Nice! I checked the shop for the Info again, the "old stocks" it reffer to are the 14k Hero 100 and Hero 200A nibs which can be used on Wing Sung pens like 601 etc. but I think this is also treu to other old nibs from Hero/Wing Sung. Anyway just for Infos. ;-)

This is a Pilot compatible converter used in the 659 and probably the 613.

Another great video. Where do you bought it (what's the name of the seller)?

Are their old stock gold nibs bad? I found a wing sung 601a in a no5 nib with a 14k gold nib. What do you think of it>

That is a newer stock nib. The 698 and 626 14k come with the old stock nibs. I have a 698 with one, and it is awesome especially for 34 dollars.

This particular nib doesn't look like anything I've seen before. It's probably an in-house nib, that and making gold nibs isn't exactly rocket science. Even if it's an outsourced nib, it's unlikely to be a Pilot nib. Could be German, but definitely not Jowo or Bock. Maybe Schmidt?

Honestly you may be right about it possibly being in house. Thanks for the input!

The seller is industrial*equipment on eBay. I will post the link to the description later tonight. I had issues posting this video and my info was deleted.
