Just found this video. How gorgeous. What a sweet thing to do. I had a little green sewing basket exactly the same colour and all as a little girl. Wish I still had it. This idea could be applied to an old glove box I acquired many years ago that I keep my nanas gloves in.
And how gorgeous hearing about Bandit as a puppy! Sooooo sweet. Kind of saw him a little on the side of the table. Cutie. ❤😂even when he uses toes for toys.

I received one of these in about 1954 from a friend of my father’s from England. I still have it and use it but you have excited me to upgrade it. I repair the chewed apart toys of my grandson’s dog….. sometimes 35 at a time!!!! This would make a great hand sewn toy-repair sewing box.

Wow 🤩 what a wonderful project for your friend. I did a sewing basket like this one a couple of months ago. Lined it with silk. I found mine in the thrift store and made it into a sewing basket for my camper van. I am very curious how this cute one is going to turn out. Going to follow for sure.

A question, in some of your videos you say you are using Calico cloth…is it the same as muslin? I’d like to use calico but not sure what type cloth it is here in the US? Ah thanks for your kind words.. muslin and calico is the same. Can you can buy different weights too I believe.
