simhub lets you add effects for flags, red, yellow, blue etc, plus a few more effects that can be useful! thanks for the video, followed your tutorial! I still trying to figure out he best position for the lights: top, botton of the screen.. facing the ceiling etc----
@@aker2KK Thanks for watching. Best position is top pointing down towards your wheel. I need to change how I have mounted them. Not the best but ok for now. Let me know what you decide. 😎
I don't know I choose my ( NV surround ) to my screen in SimHub but it still shows me only one monitor " screen shot " in simhub. How you got your triple screen screenshot in to simhub ?
Hey man. Thanks for watching. That is a difficult one. Simhub picked up all 3 screens. I didn't have to do anything. Just double check cause I had a unique image on each screen. Might just look like mine is showing the triples separately...if I am making sense. Simhub allows you to add multiple sections.
It makes sense but yes, I don't know why my simhub pick up only one " main " monitor even when I'm using Nvidia surround and choosed NV surround in Simhub. I have licence and also updated newest version of SimHub. Weird thing is that the screen what SimHub shows have a old display pic what I changed already 2 or 3 weeks ago. Don't show my current screen pic. I don't know, I didn't have much time to dive in to this but tomorrow I'll try again. Somehow I have to figure it out, because there is no much info about this issue. I would like to show you some screenshots from my SimHub situation but unfortunately can't add them in this comment. I'll send you some upload links here then you can click and see. Maybe we can figure it out somehow whats the issue :(
@@n00bSimRacing are they still within your peripherals? or just outside them? i heard that its best to have them outside so its not beaming in your eyes and can be distracting
@thatf2299 i have outside of my view. Running triple monitors i have two set of lights. I have the Govee Pro Light Bars above my center monitors (On top of the 4th one) and a set of Govee Pro Flow lights on each of my side monitors. High enough so I do not see them. They reflect the light coming into my doors.
It comes with it and yes, it is necessary. I first thought it wasn't, until I saw nothing happens with the lights without the control box. But like I said, it is included. So no problem. 😉 Thanks for watching!
i M having an issue actually setting up the lights with AMS2 only...the lights works fine with other games but with AMS2 they do the transitions on the main menu but during the rave they get stuck on one color and i dont have any effects...have you faced something loke this before?
Hmmmm...I sometimes experience something similar. Almost like Simhub loses connection to the lights. I it doesn't happen all the time. It will then shine a solid colour for a few seconds and then connect again and it is gone. Remember the lights work with Bluetooth and Wifi...so it can potentially lose connection to your pc. Doesn't make sense that it only works in the menu and not in the game when racing. Maybe I can help you troubleshoot. 🙂Did you buy Simhub or are you using the free version?
@@virtualmotorheads thanks for your reply. I have full version of simhub, and I am using a tablet to display a dash. I have used the same setup with AssettoCorsa and AssettoCorsaCompetizione and is all good. Only AMS2 gives me this problem. I have tried also to reinstall the lights on Simhub but I have the same issue.
@@Sim4Passion That is so strange that only the one game is giving you this problem. How is the rest of Simhub functioning with Ams2? You say you have a tablet with a dash. @@virtualmotorheads Yes, so my setup during the gaming session is a tablet with a dash and a bass shaker. I use the same setup with all the games. Only AMS2 gives me this issue. I don't really now how, to fix it. Strange thing is...everything is ok if I go around the main menu 😅

True...the camera does not do it justice, unfortunately 😕. You have to experience it in person. I will most definitely try and do another video where you can see it. Nevertheless totally worth it. Thanks for watching! 👍🏻
I'm surprised nobody has made a simple USB LED hub that can be controlled via Simhub, that you can simply plug any ARGB lights into. It wouldn't need to be much, just a little $25 device, if that. Having to install Synapse made this a non-starter for me, but I see in the description you said it isn't necessary. I'm looking at the lights on Amazon right now, they're $50, currently with a 25% discount. It's tempting. Currently I use a couple refurb Fire tablets on the rig, using Simhub to put a dash on one and the other as a flag indicator.
Yes...Synapse not necessary. Someones sent me a message afterwards. But then it was too late. I like what you saying about the hub...it would be so simple. 😅 Thanks for watching man. Appreciate your comment. 👍🏻

Love my Govee lights for all my races. Cost slightly less than Phillips Hue and has endless potential.
Exactly. 😁
hey man, i just got me a pair, but having trouble setting the proper height on them, any recommendations as far as height goes?
