    Hey David ...Thanks for taking the time to make this post.
    Just became an Voyager owner...and like the bagger look , as well as the top load bags that this ride has. IMHO the door edge trim is genius!!
    This really is well thought out. Happy motoring my man!!

      It is fairly simple. Hardest part is taking it all apart the first time to cut the strut cover. I ended up removing the top chrome cover when I moved the trunk back a few inches to give my wife more room. Ofcourse shortly afterwards I traded it in on a road glide ultra.

    I have watched this vid a number of times. This is a very slick way of switching between Voyager and Vaquero. I am getting up the nerve to cut the chrome strut covers. Thanks David for showing us this method. BTW….the blue color that year was killer.

    • @davidhoman3887
      @davidhoman3887  3 года назад

      It is alittle nerve racking thinking about cutting the covers but once done you'll see it was no big deal. I just electrical tape to figure out my cut line then marked with sharpie. Just have to make sure there's enough of a edge on the bottom piece to put the door trim on. Might have to cut alittle more off the top piece for enough clearance for the door trim used.

      Anthony's West Texas Rides the vaquero is a fine bike but I'm not a fan of the blacked out look or side open bags and I think it's cheaper to buy a voyager and make the trunk removable then buy a vaquero and add a trunk. The trunk us great for road trips and I use it when my wife and son ride with me but when I ride solo I don't really need it so I take it off.
