Not only do they sound much better but being weather resistant is a huge plus. Not to mention that upgrade looks killer like a big wheel bagger setup. I love it man! Thank You.
Great, quick install video! Those SKARs are monsters! We'd like to offer one additional information on your install; two (2) M5 SHCS are included with the kit and are used at the outer, upper areas as additional mounting locations and are necessary as part of the install. The screw hole can be seen in the video. We thank you for purchasing our 6-1/2" fairing adapters and hope you enjoy the better sound!
HaHa! I thought a bolt would fit in there but the one I grabbed wouldn't bite. I must have missed the correct bolt. They are very solid with the two bolts and the tab for the mount. But that's an easy fix, thanks for the pointer. Also cheers to you for making these parts! Kawasaki parts are very hard to find. Thanks for watching and the comments!
Love your vaquero content such a great and beautiful bike I wish they were more popular that way there is a bigger after market for them one complaint about mine is I always have to search extra for something very simple haha
I just bought a new Kenwood marine amp KAC-M5024BT, next will by the adapters from Engendered Adapters and thinking of a pair of marine 6.5" speakers from Rockford Fosgate M2-65B. Down the road a pr. of the 5.25 TMS5 also from Rockford Fosgate. I have the rear speakers kit option and not much out there for larger speakers in those little pods.
Keep us posted on how these hold up. The speakers look amazing but I am concerned about the 3d printed adapter. I have heard a lot of people say 3d printed plastic melts and distorts super easy in hot sun. :(
The 3d printed brackets are holding up great. I am in upstate NY for mid 80s is the highest it really gets here. I'm not sure I would go with the kicker speakers again, but I have not replaced the deck or put an amplifier in yet. I know Harley's and stereo shops use Rockford Fosgate. I couldn't get any JL's. Thanks for watching!
Are the kickers really that bad? I was gonna go with the Rockford M0’s but I found an open box pair of kickers for 100. Seemed like a good deal. I will power them with an amp though.
Do you feel that by changing the speakers to the 6 1/2 that the sound quality was improved? I want to improve the sound quality on mine without going to a show bike style audio system. Just want to improve the sound of my stock stereo with no amp. Is it worth the price of the 6 1/2 for me to add if I'm not going to go any further with the audio system?
The 6.5 speakers are definitely louder but I would say you need an amp over 60 or 70... same for any bike. Not sure it is worth the investment, I actually use AirPods quite a bit as they cut down on wind noise. Thanks for watching!
I haven't found a good solution for this. I had a Bluetooth adapter in the power outlet but it wears down quickly and slides out. You might have to replace the head unit for a permanent fix. Let me know if you find something that works.
You know if its possible to add subwoofer to a bluetooth set up? I got the lexin q3 speakers but wanna add some bass they sound phenomenal in all other avenues just not the bass i want...
I'm finding that if I accelerate too fast or the road is bumpy as most are here the DC plug in Bluetooth adapter does vibrate right out. One way to avoid losing it is to have your phone plugged in to charge...lol then the adapter just dangles on the wind. 🤣 I gotta find a better way.
So I actually found that putting a small rubber washer and wedging it in below the "prongs" seems to work for now. I might have to find another solution as well.
Electrical tape around the plug in. Mine never falls out anymore. Haven't changed the tape yet. I remove the Bluetooth connector everytime I park somewhere to keep it from being stolen. Or hop on Amazon and order the Boovee1000 or any apple pin connector bluetooh adapter. They are about 30 bucks for a good one. The boovee allows you to change songs using handle bar controls.
@@AJXLMedia oh yeah. Most def. Or hop on amzon and order the cheaper coolstream bluetooth 30pin receiver or the bovee1000 for like $80. With the Bovee you can change songs using the handle bar controls. Not that important though. The Coolstream is just as good. We always enjoy your content. Frank from American pickers, rides a Vaquero!!! Nice 😂😂😂
HaHa! Does he?!

Awesome that's great!! Rockfords are used on a lot of bikes, they were sold out when I did mine. The amp will be a huge improvement.
Nice! Just got the speaker adapters, head unit bezel and wiring harness for my 2019 Vaq. I am going to do the amp while I have the fairing off....
That is smart, I didn't want to get the fairing off yet lol
Does anyone know where I can get the adapter and speaker kit?
website?
link? etc
Engineered adapters has it all
Ughhh thanks now I have to buy more parts..... The vaquero definitely needs a speaker upgrade...
You might want to go with Rockford Fosgate or JL. And amp and deck will help too but depends on your budget and what you want to do lol.

By any chance can you give me the link for the 3d adapters, so I can ck them out for my self and how much they cost

I think the kickers are good, but you will need an amp for higher speeds, like any speaker.
Where in the world can i get those speaker mounts to put my 6.5 speakers on.
Search engineered adapters; they used to have a website
Where do you get a fairing that is speaker compatible?
Im not sure as the fairing came with the bike.
Will the plastic buckets that came behind the factory speakers work with your aftermarket speakers?
No unfortunately they won't but I had no problems in the rain as they are marine grade speakers. Thanks for watching
Where did you get the pre mounts engineering adapters from???
@engineeredadapters

I have a question. What do you recommend for BT adapter for Android phones?
I haven't found a good solution for this. I had a Bluetooth adapter in the power outlet but it wears down quickly and slides out. You might have to replace the head unit for a permanent fix. Let me know if you find something that works.

Im not sure, the bluetooth can be a little touchy to spending on your transmitter. Good luck!
Can you get the speakers adapter on Amazon ?
I don't think so, you have to go direct to his websites which is listed in the comments. Great service, very quick.
Also what kind of speakers??
I think I used Kickers; the skars were much too large.
What kind of head unit do you have and do the engineer adapters come with the kicker speakers
Regular head unit but, an upgraded one would be much better with an amp. No the adapters come by themselves. Thanks for watching!!
So where do I get the engineer adapters for the 6 1/2 speakers
@@ontosewing8784 There is a link in the comments section
@@AJXLMedia sorry man I cant seem to find the link in the comment section, dont kn how to get to that section
@@ontosewing8784 In the main video screen there is an arrow for the description. Its right in there.
what is the model number of the new speakers?
I'm unsure, sorry.

HaHa Yes, it definitely does not. At first it was fine. I was thinking of using a rubber washer or something to wedge it better. Thanks for watching!

Where can I get the speaker adaptors?
There is a link in the description and also in the comments. Engineered adapters
Where can I get the adapters
There is a website, engineered adapters
What's d web site to get d adapters
Kicker speakers.. could you tell me the exact model number?
I don't have the info anymore. They are marine grade that fit the size of the speaker adapters.
Show how to remove fairing. Literally NO video on it. You'll be the first
I didnt have a reason to.
